On the Road to Adventure with Car Critters and Mimi!

Adventure Awaits the critters in Mimi‘s clever card design! With inspiration from the new Car Critters Road Trip Add-On, she takes this bunch of critters on a beach vacation!

Mimi began this amazing card by masking and inking a panel cut with the largest Large Stitched Rectangle. She sectioned off the sky, ocean and sand. Then she inked the On the Road dies and two more panels, one for the grass and another road.

Next, she stamped and colored images from Car Critters and Car Critters Road Trip Add-On. She added another car from Home for the Holidays, palm trees from Life is Good, a mouse from Fly High, and fox from Coaster Critters on the bicycle.

She also used the sun and sand stamps from Beachy Christmas and the tiny umbrella from So Smooth. The little cloud from Tiny Sports Friends colored in green to add texture to the grass.

Lawn Fawn Video {1.3.23} A Snowy Magic Picture Changer Scene with Marine

Marine envisioned an ice castle competition for her clever interactive design! The Snowball Fight mice are working together to build the winning castle! And they have friends from Simply Celebrate Critters cheering them on!

When you pull the tab, you can see that the mice team has made progress on the ice castle!

Marine added sparkle with a white gel pen and a silver embossed sentiment!

Jenn’s Clever Mermaid Shaker Card

Jenn is back with another awesome design celebrating all things mermaid! This time she has a clever shaker card to inspire you!

Jenn combined Mermaid for You, On the Beach, You Are Sublime, and Life is Good to create this summery ocean scene! She added layers using Stitched Wave Borders and Simple Stitched Hillside Borders. And of course, there is lots of fun inky techniques as well!

She created the greeting using Riley’s ABCs and Cole’s ABCs. Who doesn’t love a great mix of fonts?

For this clever shaker element, Jenn made an edge to edge or infinity shaker panel! After inking and arranging the cute underwater images on the panel, she stamp packaging to create the pocket sealing, it with strong double-sided tape on the back of the panel on 3 sides. Then she filled the pocket with sequins before sealing the fourth side with more double-sided tape. When this panel was complete, she layered it on the Stitched Wave Borders. And then she covered any imperfections with an inky Stitched Rectangle Frame!
