A Lovely Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up by Renata!

Something fun is coming tomorrow! Our May Mini Release will be available, and we will have a “mini” inspiration week to share some great ideas by our Design Team! Join us right here at the blog tomorrow!

Renata joins us today to share a beautiful Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up featuring some cute gnomes!

Renata used Oh Gnome! images to fill this adorable 3D scene! The scene includes some Butterfly Kisses butterflies attached using clear acetate so they appear to be fluttering overhead! She also filled in with pretty flowers from Fairy Friends!

The sentiments are from Simply Sentiments, Tiny Tag Sayings and Say What? Christmas Critters!

Thanks so much for this super sweet inspiration today, Renata!

Jenn’s Simple Cards for Everyday Heroes!

Join us for another fantastic Inspiration Week starting this Friday! We will finish shining the spotlight on our Spring 2020 release with lots of great samples and giveaways! We can’t wait!

Jenn is making multiple cards in response to Jennifer McGuire’s call to Stay Home and Make Cards! Jennifer is encouraging us to create simple cards for health care workers, first responders, grocery store employees, etc. It’s a great way to put our cardmaking skills to excellent use to encourage the people working selflessly every day!

Jenn assembled strips of Dandy Day 6×6 papers in a rainbow pattern to create this colorful design! She stamped the sentiments from Big Scripty Words and Simply Sentiments in Hippo ink and added hearts cut from Narwhal cardstock. Quick and easy to put together with a whole lot of heart!

Jenn has a great tip for stamping die cuts when making multiples of the same card! It’s brilliant!

  1. Put some scrap cardstock into your MISTI, and stamp the words you will want to use on your card. Keep this setup. Hold it with your magnet, or some Therm-o-Web Purple Tape.
  2. Die-cut the words you will want to stamp. Overlay the negative on top of the words you stamped on scrap cardstock. Be sure that the alignment is correct. Tape in place.
  3. Place the die-cut words into the negative cardstock.
  4. Stamp your words in whatever colored ink you would like.
    Perfect placement each time!

Thanks so much, Jenn for sharing your beautiful card design and super helpful stamping tip!

Just a note about Jenn’s Spring classes: although her Lawn Fawn classes are cancelled for the Spring, everyone who has signed up with a store will be getting details from their store directly. Meanwhile, Jenn has been busy hosting Facebook LIVE’s and other inspiration – check out her site HERE for details!

Jenn’s Rainbow Thank You Card!

Jenn joins us today to share a fun thank you card in happy rainbow colors to brighten up the middle of your week!

Jenn stamped the cute little bugs from A Bug Deal with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and colored them in bright rainbow colors with Copic markers.

She used Distress Watercolor paper to die cut the letters from Finley’s ABCs and the Heart Stackable. Then she water-colored them using Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Seedless Preserves to continue the rainbow theme!

She used Really Rainbow True Blue paper as the background and stamped her greeting from Simply Sentiments! She used a combination of Glue Tube and foam adhesive to assemble all the colorful elements.

Thank you so much, Jenn for sharing this happy card design with us today!

Be sure to check out Jenn’s class schedule to find out where she is teaching classes with Lawn Fawn products this Spring! You just may find one in your area! Click HERE for the upcoming classes list!
