A Baby Card That’s a Real Cutie with Ivy

Ivy is with us today to share a really cute baby card! She featured little tangerines, known as “cuties” and a custom, punny sentiment to send a happy welcome for a new baby!

I love this cheery color combination of orange and green, it’s so fresh and citrusy! Ivy used Cilantro cardstock for the base, adding detail with Just Stitching Double Rectangles. Then she layered another panel, this one a Fruit Salad gingham cut with an Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle.

Next, she made the cuties using dies from Zesty Lemon and Build-A-Drink with pretty Tropical Shimmer cardstock. And then she added the citrus flowers in Raspberry, Cilantro, Sticky Note and white cardstock.

She stamped part of the greeting with Smitty’s ABCs, then she finished it with Finley’s ABCs in more Raspberry cardstock.

Thanks so much for sharing this charming baby card, Ivy!

Popcorn-themed Valentines with Grace

Grace is back with another brilliant idea, this time for Valentine’s Day! She created popcorn-themed treats and a Platform Pop-Up card as well! These fun designs are perfect decorations and favors for a Valentine party!

The Platform Pop-Up and treat pockets resemble movie theater buckets of popcorn, right down to the red striped box! So much fun! She used paper from the All the Dots Collection pack for the iconic stripes.

Platform Pop-Up

To create the “popcorn”, Grace combined Bubble Border with the coordinating dies from Bubbles of Joy! She inked the cardstock with Sugar Cookie and Butter ink before adding the die cuts to the Platform Pop-Up inserts. Then she added a custom sentiment using Henry Jr’s ABCs and a phrase from All My Heart. She also added tiny hearts from All My Heart! And it wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day without a Magic Heart Message on a red heart!

Pillow Box Treat Pockets

Grace used one Pillow Box die cut to create two chocolate box favors. She simply cut the assembled box in half before adding the “popcorn” to the edges. Again, she used a sentiment from All My Heart, this time with Finley’s ABCs to spell out POP!

And she also made cute tickets using Raffle Tickets Lawn Cuts and Sprinkles ‘n Stripes 6×6 paper. She stamped “admit one” with a stamp from Wheely Great Day.

I love this brilliant popcorn idea, Grace! It’s so perfect for Valentine’s Day and lots of fun occasions. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity!

Lawn Fawn Video {1.27.24} A Punny Valentine Card with Christy

Christy is back with another cute and clever card design! She made a fun and punny greeting to go with A Waffle Lot! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

I like you a “whole brunch” is so fun and punny! It goes with the yummy images of A Waffle Lot so well! Christy created a plate for the waffles and fruit using Circle Stackables and Stitched Circle Stackables, layered and shaded with Copic markers.

For the background Christy made a clever folded napkin with gingham paper from the Fruit Salad Petite Paper Pack. Then she added the greeting, die-cut using Finley’s ABCs. I love how she added the ombré color to the letters.

How fun is this sweet design! Thank you for sharing with us, Christy!
