Lawn Fawn Video {8.6.23} Mona’s Stamped and Colored Canvas Pouch

Mona is back with another clever coloring tutorial! This time she does some pencil coloring on a plain canvas zippered pouch! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mona shows us the super easy steps for stamping on a pouch in the video. She used Jet Black Ink to stamp the images, then she set the ink with a heat tool before coloring with pencils.

Once the images are colored, she added highlights with white pencil along with white and black gel pens. Then she set the color with an iron. (Be sure to protect the iron with parchment paper.)

Oh, my goodness, this is so sweet and will make such an adorable gift! Mona used images from How You Bean Seashell Add-On and So Jelly. What images would you use to decorate a canvas pouch? Let us know in the comments below.

Thank you so much for this wonderful inspiration, Mona! I love that you thought outside of the box to show us something different!

Lawn Fawn Video {7.5.22} Mindy’s Marvelous Mermaid Shaker Card

Hello friends! Mindy is with us again to share her amazing inspiration! This time she created the cutest underwater shaker card. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mindy created the look of windows for this clever shaker card using Foursquare Backdrop: Landscape. She backed it with an inked Stitched Wavy Backdrop: Landscape for some subtle texture. Then she created the underwater scene with Mermaid for You, I Like You (a lotl), Fintastic Friends and So Jelly!

Mindy shares an important tip for making shaker cards. Use an embossing powder tool to remove tackiness on the foam before removing the release paper. Then the shaker bits will move freely without sticking.

Thank you for sharing this adorable shaker card, Mindy! The design is so brilliant!

Joyce’s Adorable You Are Sublime Design!

Joyce shares an adorable underwater-themed card that’s sure to lift someone’s spirit and put a smile on their face!

I love how Joyce used the Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait to give this underwater scene great dimension! To fill the window openings she stamped, colored and die cut images from You Are Sublime, So Jelly, Fintastic Friends, Keep on Swimming and Mermaid for You!

Joyce created the cool ocean look by ink blending with Distress Oxide inks in Blueprint Sketch, Broken China and Cracked Pistachio! She splattered the inked pieces with water to look like ocean bubbles!

Thanks so much for sharing this super cute card with us today, Joyce!
