Lawn Fawn Video {10.29.19} Two Skating Critters Cards with Nichol

Nichol shows how she created two adorable cards featuring our skating critters using the same design and supplies! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

To create her awesome winter scenes, Nichol die cut the scene-builder images from white cardstock and used Copic markers to add color! She used the log cabin from Shadow Box Card Mountain Add-On, trees from Stitched Hillside Backdrop Portrait and Landscape and Stitched Mountain Borders.

She also added color with Copic markers to the Pearlescent Vellum that is layered behind and becomes the icy Stitched Pond and snowy sky! She die cut the skating trails for the cute Mice on Ice who are wearing adorable coordinating skates and scarves!

For this second card, Nichol combined all of our skating critters! There’s the Winter Penguin and the skating bear from Beary Happy Holidays along with another cute mouse in another awesome winter scene!

Thank you so much for sharing these delightful cards with us today, Nichol! I just love all the skating critters!

Samantha’s Glittery Spooky Village!

Samantha Casey created an adorable Halloween scene with Spooky Village and the cute Mice on Ice!

Samantha wrote up some details about her adorable card:

Hey everyone, Samantha here with a super fun Halloween card that uses products from the newest Lawn Fawn release! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, because I love the colors and all the fun but not too scary decorations. I created a scene that encompasses the whimsical aspects of Halloween.
The “
Spooky Village” stamp set is so much fun to play with. The set creates the cutest Halloween village and comes with so many accessories. The coordinating “Spooky Village” dies make it super easy to build and expand your setting.
Whenever I get a seasonal stamp set, I like to try to find different solutions to expand the possibilities of the set. The mice from the “
Mice on Ice“stamp set were a cute addition to my scene. Since I was using the coordinating “Mice on Ice” dies, I needed to figure out a solution for the bottom of the skate. So I drew tiny lines to create hiking boots for the mice. It was a simple solution and it was so much fun to watch the skates transform into shoes!
The “
Stitched Hillside Backdrop: Landscape” die cut created a nice background for my scene. I used grey cardstock from the “Neutral Pack Cardstock” and copper glitter paper from the “Sparkle Cardstock- Autumn” pack. The papers really helped bring my scene to life, especially the glitter paper!

Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Samantha! Your card is so adorable! I love how you included the cute Mice on Ice in your Halloween scene!

A Gorgeous Winter Scene by Kay!

Kay created the most gorgeous winter scene card using mostly dies with just a stamped sentiment! She combined die cuts from both of our Stitched Hillside Backdrop Lawn Cuts sets along with trees from the Scalloped Treat Box Winter House Add-On set.

All of the images were die cut from white cardstock colored using Distress inks! Kay added the cute dot detail with white acrylic paint. You could get a similar look with a white gel pen!

The greeting from Beary Happy Holidays is white embossed on an Everyday Sentiment Banner!

I just love this amazing card, Kay! Thanks so much for sharing with us today!
