Have A Ball + Club CK!

Hi everyone! My computer is fixed! My internet is fixed! Woooo! What a crazy couple of days! I am so grateful that everything is up and running for our big release week next week! On Sunday I will post our monthly “win it all” post! Yay! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be sneak peeks and the sets will go for sale on Thursday at 12:01am EDT! We have three sets this time, and I think you are just going to love them!

This little card was so fun to make! I love making punny sentiments with Harold’s ABCs. I colored the beach ball from Swimsuit Season with Copics and put an American Crafts jeweled brad in the middle. This would definitely be an easy card to replicate for a party invite or summer hello cards!

Today we are so excited to be feature on the Club CK blog! Head on over there for a chance to win some Lawn Fawn! We just love Creating Keepsakes and are so honored to be spotlighted!

I hope you guys have great weekends! Don’t forget to come back on Sunday for the start of our August release festivities! I just can’t wait to share!

Big hugs to you all!

Card stock: Neenah, Papertrey Ink

Thank you so much for visiting!
Have an amazing day,

CHA, Fun teaser for August, Whales, Beach Balls, and Mr. Lawn Fawn

Hi everyone! I have so much to go through in this post!
First thing first, did you sign up for the Lawn Fawn Hearts Cards for Kids blog hop yet? Click here to get all of the details!

Next up, I am leaving for CHA! I am heading to Chicago early to spend time with my parents there. It should be a blast! I am also taking the Copic certification class on Monday. I cannot wait for CHA. I really hope that I get to meet lots of you! I am horrible with faces so please yell at me. As for finding me, I’m 5’8″. That seemed to help at the last one! I am going to be taking LOTS of pics! I am going to post them to Flickr and link to that from here. I hope you guys will enjoy that!

Now, even though I am gone, Lawn Fawn is still shipping orders! My wonderful hubby and Lawn Fawn partner, Mike, will be sending orders! Get ready for thank you notes from Mr. Lawn Fawn himself. Hehe! 🙂

Next, I have a super fun teaser for you! Something really exciting is happening August 1st and it has to do with how much Lawn Fawn loves Cup Cards To Go, and this is just a sneaky little peek:

Do you see what I see? 😉 Keep your eyes on the Cup Cards To Go blog for more sneaks and details! 🙂

And, finally, a fun card!

Critters in the Sea and Swimsuit Season are really fun together! My whale is an October Afternoon whale because he’s classy like that. Even though he is classy and fancy he loves beach balls, but only bejeweled ones. Hehe. (Can you tell I am lacking sleep?) I curved the sentiment on my block. Don’t you just love that you can do that with clear stamps?!

I made an ocean of ribbon using my Tiny Attacher. I just hid the staples in the pleats! It was actually really easy and fun to do and I only almost stapled my hand to the card once. That’s a score one for Kelly in my book :).

Hugs to you all. I will be blogging from Chicago! Let me know what you want to see! 🙂

Hello everyone! I just had to make this card because it got HOT here in Orange County. Woooweeee. Is it bad that my mouth actually waters looking at that lemonade glass? Hehe! This card was made with Swimsuit Season. I think it would be great for a fun note for someone in the summer time, or even as a tag or note on a gift basket for a neighbor with keep cool things like lemonade mix, watermelon, etc!

I had fun using my copics with this, and I used glossy accents (I can’t put it down) on the ice cubes to make them look more icy!

Sometimes people ask me why I make weird shaped cards: Well, when I have left over larger scraps, I just scor it down the middle and make a card! It’s fun and makes me have to think outside the box sometimes, especially when the shapes are super skinny, etc! I think it’s a fun way to use scraps, and I love anything that is mini! 🙂
