Giant Sending Love Inspiration

Grace added a special detail to her Giant Sending Love greeting and it’s so cool! She created a beautiful cloudy stenciled background, then she cut the greeting from it. She cut it again from kraft cardstock before popping it up in the negative space and filling it with the kraft pieces! It’s so perfect as the highlight of her Kanga-rrific scene.

Lynnette‘s lovely card simply sends lots of love! She paired the Giant Sending Love greeting with Rainbow Ever After paper as the background, frame and heart detail! So pretty!

Marine used glittery gold to fill the letters in the Giant Sending Love sentiment! And it looks so amazing with her brilliant stenciled Tropical Leaves and cute koalas! She also included pretty scene building images from Toucan Do It!

Melissa‘s design goes really bold with colorful stripes and glittery hearts! I love how she left the center of the die cut open, so all the colors in the background show through!

Megan used Giant Sending Love as the centerpiece of her adorable underwater scene! She stenciled Ocean Waves in the background before adding the sweet Manatee-rific critters!

I love how Elena added the playful mice and paper airplanes from Just Plane Awesome to her Giant Sending Love card! The apricot color she used to fill in the letters looks so stunning against the blue backdrop!

Elise matched the color of the Rainbow Ever After paper to fill in her Giant Sending Love. This detail is so pretty as is the Quilted Backdrop she used with the striped paper.

Audrey‘s card is absolutely stunning! I love that she used Cloud Background: Hot Foil Plate Landscape for the backdrop and then inked it with beautiful blues! And filling the Giant Sending Love with red looks so beautiful against that backdrop! The cute little All My Heart mouse with his red balloon and the little red hearts are so perfect too!

Grace also used Cloud Background: Landscape Hot Foil Plate to add a brilliant detail to her Giant Sending Love card! I love how she inked the die cut in a pastel rainbow! Then she added the unicorn and clouds from My Rainbow! Check out the video below to see Chari remake this card!

And speaking of Chari, she also featured My Rainbow along with Rainbow Ever After paper to create sweet Giant Sending Love card!

Embroidery Hoop Flower Add-On Inspiration

The Embroidery Hoop Flower Add-On adds so much beauty to a simple birthday card! Chari layered her stitched flower on pretty patterned papers, then included a cheery greeting from Henry’s Build-A- Sentiment: Spring!

Melissa‘s card design is so lovely! I love how she added the Lucky Clovers surrounding the stitched flower. And the pretty green and purple color palette is so fresh and pretty!

Chari also shows how you can up style one of our mini notebooks for gift-giving! She stitched up an Embroidery Hoop Flower Add-On in colors to coordinate with the notebook, then she stamped out “bloom” with Henry Jr.’s ABCs!

  1. Different types of flowers, baby themed images for baby cards like bottles/rattles, sparkles for birthday/congratulations themed cards. ✨

  2. I would love to see baby images – rattle, bottle, shoe etc. summer items – sun, seashell, seahorse, fish
and holiday images – ghost, pumpkin, turkey, Christmas mouse, tree, Easter bunny & chick.💗

  3. In all honesty, I have never crafted with embroidery products. This would be a delight to win so I may play and practice to get better acquainted using this type of product. It is adorable! Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. Maybe a wreath that can be styled for any holiday? I don’t know, but I love all the ones you have, I bought all of them! This inspired me to make flowers soon!

  5. I am not really an embroidery person, so I have no suggestions! I love seeing the makes, but just not for me to do!

  6. I would like to see a Christmas tree, a stocking, and a fireplace. I would also like to see some mouse themed items, maybe a wedge of cheese.

  7. I think it would be fun to have a square embroidery hoop, so that you could do something like a quilt square or a small saying. More flowers would be fun as well.

  8. Icons for the 12 days of Christmas would be great so that embroidery cards could be sent out for Christmas.

  9. I would like a butterfly shape or pattern. I think that would be fun to stitch. I have mailed two cards with stitching and both loved them. I used Chari’s free patterns; thanks so much Chari.

  10. I think Fireworks could work well… Otherwise other simple flower shapes like a tulip would be a fun addition.

  11. Honestly, I am not really a sticher on cards, I am usually making cards at the last minute, so don’t have time to do that, but the cards are lovely. Maybe different flowers

  12. I think you can make a fair bit with current shapes. Trying to think if something like a Christmas tree with star on top might need one because straight and diagonal mixed. I think other shapes of hoops.that can fit more holes. Like a square or a rectangle might fit some possibilities for creating tha circle limits.

  13. I don’t have a new idea but I like to make birthday cards…so the birthday items mentioned above would be cute.

  14. My wish is not for any particular pattern, but I wish there was a die that ONLY cut the hoop!!
I like the hoop to be in the “woodgrain-cardstock, but I could do without the heart in the same cardstock every, every time.
I just have too many unused woodgrain-hearts right now so I’m not keen on using that die so often, as I just get more and more of those hearts!. So pls, pls, PLS make a separate die for the hoop!

  15. I haven’t tried the embroidery cards yet, but they are cool! Letters might be nice as a keepsake for the person receiving the card.

  16. Baby animals for a baby card. I make baby bibs for shower gifts and this would be perfect as the card!!

  17. Have not tried lawn fawn’s embroidery sets! But if i do, i would love to try the rainbow, weather, bunny and mermaid themes!

  18. Great sentiment die, and i love the sweet flower for the embroidery hoop!
I love Halloween, so a jack o’ lantern would be a fun design to embroider!

  19. Love the big sentiment die and the new embroidery flower design. I would like to see a world design focusing on all areas of the world not just North America.

  20. Always a sucker for anything water related — sunset, waves, lighthouse, Or what about something health care related – bandaid. Used to do counted cross stitch but the eyes aren’t great any more. Would try any of your products if chosen. Thank you.

  21. There was a time when I was big into embroidery, cross stitch and rug hooking. Now I’m more into card making so have no ideas for you

  22. Here are ideas from me:
    Cross, God, Christian
    Easter Lilly
    Simple Snowman
    Heart
    Mailbox
    Shamrock
    Umbrella (rainy or beach ?)
    Sun
    Beach chair
    Fireworks (already mentioned)
Glass (can be ice tea, lemonade, etc)
Picnic Basket (can have add-on for food (😊 )
    Fall Leaf
    Apple
    Pumpkin
Wagon/ Crate (little die cuts can be added (🥰)
    Simple Black Cat outline
    Acorn
    Turkey
Wreath (can have seasonal add-ons 👍)
    Tree
    Cupcake (already mentioned)
    Uppercase Letters (already mentioned)
Jar with different things to stitch inside (buttons, hearts, stars, gumballs, etc.)
    Wedding theme ?
    Graduation (already mentioned)
    Baby related
    Anniversary related
I’ll probably think 🤔 of more. Thank you for reaching out to everyone for inspiration ideas! I LOVE 💕 Lawn Fawn! You’re wonderful company!!!

  23. I don’t do any stitching on cards but I love the variety that you offer for those who do, including some free patterns!

  24. Great suggestions already! Being able to have a hoop separate from the stitching area would be great. I like a bamboo or wood color for the hoop but would like to be able to choose the color for the stitch “fabric”. I stitch often but haven’t stitched on cardstock yet even though I have the LF set. Not having a separate hoop is what I noticed immediately after die-cutting the LF hoop.

  25. How about a shamrock (3 petals) designed so the petals could be stitched similar to this flower. Also a birthday party hat or a present that could be used for various occasions, including the holidays. Some baby items, like a onesie, rattle, duck, etc. So many great ideas were listed by others as well. I look forward to seeing which designs you choose!

  26. So many cute cards – I especially love Melissa’s card with the Lucky Clovers! I think a stitched Clover pattern would be a great addition to your collection.

  27. Icons/images for every holiday (bunny, more flowers, American flag, fireworks, jack-o-lantern, bat, turkey, Christmas tree, ornament, etc) and baby items (bottle, diaper, onesie, pacifier, etc).

  28. Not so much a design suggestion, but a suggestion for another outside hoop lawn cut without the heart insert,

  29. Winter/Holiday items possibly. I’ve never really thought about it before. I just enjoy what keeps coming out of the creative lawn fawn minds!

  30. I love the Sending Love sentiment. For embroidery patterns – anything seasonal. Another thought is a house shape or something that would work for Get Well or Thinking of you. Beautiful samples from the design team.

  31. Maybe a mini embroidery hoop that has a blank circle and alphabet dies that could be used with it to spell words or someone’s name, and other cute little add-ons that could go with it. I’m thinking the alphabet dies would not cut the circle, but instead be used to cut the holes in the blank mini embroidery hoop so you could customize you’re word. Or they could be used just to pierce into your panel and could be stitched right onto your card front.

  32. Love the embroidery patterns that Chari shares every month. Would like to see square patterns as someone else mentioned..

  33. I think more variety of flowers would be great embroidery hoop ideas
Also, more birthday related ideas such as slice of cake, balloon, cupcake

  34. How about some summer-themed goodies – popsicles, ice cream cones, sundaes, glass of lemonade? Maybe even veggies would be cute to go along with all the veggie products already created. And a birthday set would be fun, too.

  35. A paw print would be cute for dog lovers.
Or baby footprints. Sun with clouds, moon and stars…I’m thinking of embroidered stuff that I’ve received that I can use again and again.

  36. Gosh, I don’t know. I haven’t gotten in to stitching cards yet. I love seeing what Chari and others create. I just have too many other techniques that I am trying to master before I take up stitching.

  37. I’m sure I’m repeating others: paws, evergreen tree, deciduous tree, house, pumpkin, leaf, cup/mug, cake, circle, present/square, pointy hat (santa, witch, gnome, etc.)

  38. Oh my gosh, those embroidery hoop patterns that Chari makes are incredible, I have to do them all, beautiful

  39. I think a fall leaf pattern for the embroidery hoop & then for Christmas release, a Star of David Christmas Star.

  40. Any kind of critter pattern would be cute! Someone else said baby motifs, and I think that would be perfect too!

  41. I don’t buy the embroidery stamps, so I don’t really remember what all you have, but just about anything would work.

  42. a birthday present! I hope it doesn’t already exist! I have so many stamp sets I literally cannot even remember my own collection anymore and have to look back through my stash sometimes before buying new, “just to be sure!”

  43. What if you did just a piece of counter cross stitch fabric and people could create their own design.

  44. What awesome products and DT inspiration projects! Love! I think florals, big sentiments and maybe some simple backgrounds would be fun to stitch! Thanks so much for the chance to win!

  45. I really want to get into theses stitched hoops. I think veggies to match the new cut out veggies would be fun. Is it too early to want to do holiday cards? A bat, ghost, or franken-homie, turkey, reindeer, city background, or house – themed to holiday (haunted house, gingerbread). I like having the mice sewing something.

  46. Anything I can use for aquatic scenes…. waves or shells?
    Fruits
Anything that I can make into a pun.
LOVE LOVE LOVE all the cards you’ve shared above! I’ll watch the video on my lunch break! Thanks!!

  47. I had no ideas, then read through the comments and keep thinking “ooh, that’s a good idea” or “that would be cute”! Love everything Lawn Fawn so I’m sure I’d like whatever you come up with!

  48. I’d love a curling rock or a canada flag but those i’m sure are a long shot – maybe a birthday cake or a envelope would be cute!

  49. I haven’t purchased the embroidery hoop set. I should. So many cute cards. I would love to win iy.

  50. I haven´t got any of these yet so I don´t really know what I´m missing, but I love lots of the examples from above, especially firework, bees and maybe something with books.

  51. Embroidery patterns I’d like to see in future releases would be Alphabet letters to make a monogram or personalize a card.

  52. I am open to anything. I love to stitch on paper. The embroidery hoop makes a great backdrop for stitching on a card.

  53. I have never crafted with embroidery products, because my hands are both left with needle 😀
But I like the result of cards with embroidery on.

  54. I think a birthday cake, birthday present or even a balloon bouquet would be a fun embroidery design to use!

  55. I think a banner would be kind of neat…

Embroidery ideas are tricky because there is not a lot of space to work in.

  56. Such darling cards! I would like to see summer fruits such as strawberries, cherries, and watermelon for the embroidery hoops.

  57. The Give it a Whirl interactive die & the new colors of glitter cardstock are on my Spring release wishlist.
