party favors

Hello! Today I have some fun party favors: tea bag holders! I had such a blast making them!

I used some gorgeous Crate Paper paper for them and inside is a Tazo tea bag. Each tag is personalized for each guest using Teeny Tiny Backdrops and Smitty’s ABCs.

Here are three different ones. I am making them for a whole wedding shower that is at a tea room, so I bought a bunch of the papers in the collection so they will look all pretty lined up :).I started with a piece of patterned paper 2.75″ x 8″ long and scored at 3″, 3.5″, 6.5″. I folded the holder with the tea bag in it and punched holes 0.5″ from the top and side (this guarantees you won’t punch the actual tea bag). I ran some gingham ribbon through and tied a knot. Then I tied the tag with baker’s twine around that ribbon. That’s it! 🙂

I used stickers from Crate Paper also to customize the heart stamped manilla tags. Then I used Smitty’s to spell the guest’s names on each one. I love that they are tea bag holders that look like tea bags! 🙂
Don’t forget that 20% of profits from www.lawnfawn.com go to the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization from May 1st to May 7th!

Patterned Paper: Crate Paper
Ink: Jenni Bowlin, Ranger Distress Ink

Etc: ribbon, baker’s twine, EK Success border punch, foam ink blending tool

Thank you so much for visiting!
Have an amazing day,

  1. AGAIN! Again! Wow. These are fabulous! Its something I'd sit on my desk @ work for a month if I got one – Just to make me happy :D. Things like that just make me smile – whoever you are making them for is going to squeal with delight!

You've got me thinking… I need one more teachers appreciation gift (I made both of my kiddos teachers little homemade gifts everyday). Actually, Friday, I'm making them cupcakes… but maybe they also 'need' a cute tea bag that says 'mrs… you're my cup of tea :D. Oh yes yes yes.

Thanks for the idea & amazing inspiration. I don't know why I'm always surprised when u blow us away like this!

  2. I love this idea. I'm just not sure about how you did it…will you be showing one when it's opened up, so we can see how you did the holes and attachment of the tea bag? This idea is great for sooo many occasions, or no occasion at all. THANKS

  3. Kelly, I was wondering if you know where to get Torendi fabric. I loved the fabric you used for the little photo album, but when I looked online, I guess the company has gone out of business? I even looked on Ebay. I've seen the fabric you used, and Pinocchio. Both adorable!! Thanks so much.Sharon Gullikson
