*Feel free to ask us questions in the comments below. We will answer them there!*
We seriously love you guys! We could not do this without you! It would be an honor to include some of your cards in our catalog and booth at the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) trade show this January, so we are holding a little challenge here on the blog!
In addition to being featured in our catalog and booth, the 3 winners (one for each category below) will each get a $75 gift certificate to be used on Lawn Fawn goodies! Woohoo!
Now, because it is for our catalog, we do have a couple of guidelines:
- We are looking for cards using any one of these stamp set categories:
- Any Critters sets and/or Hats Off to You – You may use any combination of these sets. (For example a card using just Critters in the Forest works or a card using Critters in the ‘Burbs, Critters in the Sea and Hats Off to You works, too!)
- Plus One (Please make Plus One the main feature of the card.)
- Admit One (Please make Admit One the main feature of the card.)
- You may not use patterned paper. Eeks! I know! This is tough but a fun challenge! You may still use any colored card stock or paper, ribbon, buttons, markers, pencils, etc. If you have any questions. Let us know!
- You may not use any other company’s stamps on your card. We don’t want to confuse anyone! 🙂
- If your card is chosen, you must provide us with a high resolution photo of your card right away so that we can include it in the catalog. Then you will need to send us the card so that we can show it off in our booth!
- You may enter as many times as you would like!
- You have until January 5th at 10:00pm EST to enter. We will announce the winner January 6th.
We are just so excited about this! It will be so wonderful to have your amazing projects for people to ooh and aah over at CHA! SO fun! Please let us know if you have any questions!

Wow, so cool. Unfortunately I only have 3 sets so far and not the ones you askes for! Oh well, maybe another time!
What about using letter sets to make custom sentiments- would that be allowed?
This is a great challenge. Our work my possibly be published in your catalog? This is so awesome. Thanks Kelly.
Hello Kelly! I just wanted ask a quick question.
Can I use any other Lawn Fawn Stamps to create background?
This is a great challenge although the stamp sets i own currently doesn't include those u mentioned above. Is this challenge opened to international scrappers too?
Anyway, can't wait for CHA WINTER!
What a fun challenge! I too wonder about what Tomoe Inoue asked, so I hope to se an answer to that as well =)
You guys have such good questions!
You may definitely use alphabet stamps for custom sentiments, just remember to put the featured set as the main event!
You may also use other LF stamps to create backgrounds, too!
The challenge is definitely open to international scrappers. We love our international friends!
Also, you may also submit older cards. They don't need to be brand new.
We can't wait to see your creations!
hi, i made some mini xmas cards for my hubbys work and i thought one of those would be perfect.. but i have used the winterfox with the tree from critters in the forest would that be ok?
How cool! What an honor to be included in the catalog and to be featured at CHA…yay!
Hi Roxy! Thanks so much for your comment! Unfortunately the winter part of our catalog is already done. We hope you can make a new card! Maybe a similar style using the Critters in the Forest fox? 🙂
ooh new cards to make 🙂 i like it i like it alot
Is the Critters on the Farm set included?? I noticed you said any Critters set, but it wasn't really mentioned so I wanted to make sure, as that is ONE of MY FAVORITE'S!! I also wanted to know if it had to be a card??
I had made some sweet little(3×3)canvases for a friends nursery and I wondered if they would be okay to enter or not?? THANKS for the chance to be published!!
Have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
Critters on the Farm is included! Any set that starts with the word critters is good! 🙂
Those canvases would be great! Tags are also fine, too! 🙂
YEAH!! I can't wait to post them!!
THANKS AGAIN for the chance to play along~~even if we aren't the chosen 3 I look forward to all of the FABULOUS INSPIRATION!!
Have a FABULOUS New Year's Weekend!! =)
Oh my! I'm super excited to try! Looks like I'll be getting awfully inky this weekend!
That's. So. Exciting!!!
Hi Kelly, My blog is disabled right now, so I am using anonymous. I am wondering is it okay to put other set together with one of the challenge theme (critters/plus one/admit one).
For example: I am going to create card with combination of Critters stamp as main event ,together with bon voyage (or others) as supporting events.
Thank you..
-Levana
Hello Kelly,still Levana here..
I want to highlight previous question: for example I am using critters set that is holding baloon from admit one, or critters that is holding camera from polaroid stamp set. is that okay?
Thank you..
Kindly regards,
Levana
Hi Levana! You can definitely do that. It sounds adorable! 🙂
Questions: I've linked #50 & #51 (and they have linked properly) but the thumbnail is of the little blue frog instead of my card. Any suggestions? Thanks! Melissa Shea
Hmmm… We are not sure why that is happening! You can always try submitting them again to see if that works! Either way we will visit all of the blogs to see big lovely photos of your projects! 🙂
Can we use other sets if we keep your requested ones the main focus? (for example, I wanted to use Bannerific on the card as well.)
You definitely can! We can't wait to see your card! 🙂
Hi! I linked up a few projects only to realize that the paper piecing I incorporated on one of them uses patterned paper…#71. I tried to delete it, but can't on my end. Just a heads up to bypass that one 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity to be featured and good luck to all! 🙂
me again 😀 i was able to delete it from a different computer. thanks!
Okay one more quick question?? I have been busy working on projects~~but I wanted to know if it was okay to stamp on old book text paper?? I know we can't use decorative papers from other companies, but is old book text paper okay!!??
THANKS and have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
Lovely entries here. I especially like # 73 the seasonal card. Beautiful
Thanks so much, Barb! 🙂
Larissa – We think that would be okay, as long as it is obvious that it is text paper and not some cool patterned paper :). We appreciate you guys working with our catalog guidelines! 🙂
Mary Ann N. – Agreed! The entries are amazing! Seriously gorgeous! 🙂
Could there be another set added in there? For example, I've made a card using Critters in the 'burbs, but my sentiment is from the Many Thanks set.
That works! As long as Critters in the 'Burbs is the main event, then it works for the catalog! Thank you so much for creating for our challenge! 🙂
Cannot wait to get my hands on a new Lawn Fawn catalog! The inspiration would be so amazing. So many great cards!
Okay~~maybe I am doing something WRONG, but the INLINKS thing won't let me add my other cards??
It keeps saying that the link already exsists in the challenge and I wanted to post them all together instead of doing several posts–so if they need to be added seperatley will you let me know, or is it okay if I just have them all on the same post and you'll be able to look at all of them when you visit my blog!!??
THANKS for letting me know and have a FABULOUS TIME looking at ALL of the AMAZING ENTRIES!!
THANKS for the chance to win!! =)
Hi Larissa! Can you post the links to all of your cards here? We want to make sure we don't miss one!
Yep I will do that!! =)
THANKS for letting me know!!
Hi Kelly,
I'm so excited to participate in this my very first challenge in 6 months. The idea of being featured in the Lawn Fawn catalog is alluring but honestly I'm just thrilled to have an opportunity to create something using the super cute images from your stamp sets 🙂
Hugs,
Jessica
I finally could post my final cards for the CHA challenge in time. Thanks Lawn Fawn for including us all in the fun. Its a great opportunity to be able to take part in pre CHA fun esp. for me who cant visit CHA or as a matter of fact cant even visit an actual Stamp shop:) nothing near by.
