Megan‘s Build-A-Cabin is so amazing! It’s the perfect focal point for beautiful design! The sentiment she used is in Happy Village.

Grace combined a beautiful Woodgrain hot foiled background with the charming beavers of Wood You Be Mine? I love how she framed the heart shaped shaker window with beaver nibbled logs! So adorable!

Audrey used woodgrain cardstock, so her Build-A-Cabin looks like a log house! It goes so perfectly with the punny sentiment from Wood You Be Mine?

Kara popped an ink blended Outside In Heart into the hot foiled Woodgrain Background. Then she filled the heart with a sweet scene featuring So Dam Much!

Marine‘s frosty Forest Backdrop shaker is so beautiful! It’s so perfect for layering the colorful Build-A-Cabin on top!

Mindy‘s design features the Woodgrain Background Hot Foil Plate used with gold foil on brown cardstock. It creates an elevated woodsy look. Then she layered Giant Outlined Love Ya and a pair of cute beavers! So perfect for Valentine’s Day!

Mindy also created an adorable Build-A-Cabin winter scene that pairs perfectly with Snowball Fight!

Elise got so creative, using the Woodgrain Hot Foil Plate without heat or foil! She used the plate and an embossing mat to dry-emboss the woodgrain design into colorful cardstock! The she used scripty word dies to create simple greetings for her card set!

Elena‘s Build-A-Cabin looks so awesome against a simple inked background. Then she added a Wood You Be Mine? beaver along with a sentiment from So Dam Much!

Kara‘s Valentine card is so festive and fun with the Heart Garland Backdrop: Portrait! I love the woodsy colors she used for her Build-A-Cabin! Oh, and those adorable bears are so perfect!

Latisha‘s hot foiled card is so stunning! She used gold metallic cardstock and red foil with the Woodgrain Background Hot Foil Plate to achieve so much shine! This background is so gorgeous! She added the Giant Outlined Love Ya in a bright, Valentine red to finish the card!

Home is definitely where the heart is in Caly‘s cheery design! She added happiness to this neighborhood with Let’s Play trees and Happy Village. I love how she used the “pond” found in Bayou Backdrop to ground the cabin in the scene. And of course, adding the hot foil woodgrain to the cabin is so brilliant too!

Pretty patterned papers enhance Rebecca’s cheery Build-A-Cabin and Wood You Be Mine? card!

  1. We haven’t had the time to stay at a log cabin yet but I am very excited to create one for my critters to visit 😊

    1. It’s not a cabin but we have many fond memories of vacations with our sons and more recently our grandkids at Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells. It is full of woodland decor and very much a cabin-y feel. We usually vacationed there just prior to Christmas to enjoy the indoor water parks at the start of the Midwest winters.

  2. I really am not a camper, but I do love to go on vacation with my family and friends. I adore this Cabin die and all of the woodgrain elements I have seen today they are awesome

  3. I have never stayed in a true log cabin, but I think northern Ontario, near a lake and away from light pollution would be epic!

  4. The closest I have been to staying in a log cabin is in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Not your traditional log cabin but similar and in amazing surroundings

  5. My favorite cabin spot would have to be our family cabin in Michigan’s upper peninsula. I spent every summer there as a child. So many memories.

  6. I have two favourite cabin spots. I live in Alberta and we are lucky to have the Rocky Mountains so my first favourite spot is in the mountains. My second favourite spot is at the lake. Thank you for the chance to win. Good luck everyone,

  7. My dream cabin vacation would be in BC near Golden. One day I will go out west for the scenery but until then I have enjoyed going to a log cabin in wintertime outside of a small town an hour away from my home. This cabin sits in the woods and the snow laden pines view is so relaxing. Snowshoeing and snowmobiling are fave activities and watching deer through the window with a crackling fire is pure joy.

  8. There is something about woodgrain that is so nostalgic and comfortable, this release really taps into those feelings with the cozy cabin and the hot foil plate.

  9. When I was a kid my grandparents had a log cabin on a small lake in Michigan. I loved that place so much. It was magical.

  10. When growing up we had a place we called “the cabin”. We would go on the weekends and slide down hill in the winter or swing on vines in the summer. It had a big pot bellied stove—thanks for bringing back those memories!

  11. When I was a child my sister and husband would take me with them for weekends at their cabin in the woods by a river. We would go fishing, swimming and hiking. Great memories this set will bring back.

  12. Enjoyed staying in a couple log cabins. Fav was at a Dude Ranch in CO where we stayed for 1 wk and rode horses. We were assigned the large cabin and there was 3 of us (my hubby, daughter & I). It was a 2 story and daughter chose the bedroom on 2nd floor. Was a bit of a distance walking wise from main cabins but it was a nice walk.

  13. Love cabins and camping spots in Northwestern Michigan! My only summer getaways growing up we’re in a cottage in upper Michigan (lower peninsula). Thank you for sharing all these wonderful cards. Love this cabin and the woodgrain foil plate!

  14. Never stayed in a cabin but I have been looking at one for a ski vacation in Colorado. I love the look of this cabin for the cards. It is exactly what I imagine a little cabin in the woods full of cute animals, babbling brooks, and tranquility!

  15. Our favorite spot is in the “Land of Waterfalls”, located in Western North Carolina. It’s so beautiful there, and especially in the fall when the leaves are changing.

  16. Favourite cabin vacation spot is Castle Junction, in Banff National Park. So cozy, especially with the fireplace. Lots of trails to hike nearby, too.
Today’s showcases are just way tooooo cute!

  17. I haven’t stayed in a cabin since I was a child. It was in Minnesota. Love the cards for today. Cute cabin!

  18. Last year we had a mini family reunion in Branson, Missouri, and we stayed in a couple of awesome cabins- nicer than my house, actually!
I’ve always loved the natural texture and look of wood grain – fabulous projects today!

  19. I haven’t been able to cross staying in a cabin off my bucket list yet, but I’m still very excited to use the build a cabin for my critters (: and I’m loving the new hot foil plate!!

  20. We have a small lake about 2 hours from us that isn’t very well known, so lots of quiet fishing time there. No cabin, but it’s on the wish list!!

  21. I would love to be relaxing in a cabin in the forest during winter, with LOTS of snow!!!!! BTW Absolutely love this release so far!!!

  22. There are so many ideal cabin getaways here. I think my favourite is either red rock lake or clear lake. Both absolutely gorgeous places

  23. My brother has a cabin on his large property and we all stayed in it this past summer, it was so fun, all the kids in the loft, grown ups on the ground level, it was a blast. Love the new stuff!

  24. I’ve got to have this set. I actually spent last weekend in the NC mountains talking to a man about building me & my husband a tiny cabin on our property up there. It has been a LONG-standing dream for me to have a little mountain cabin. I’ve stayed in several and loved all of them, but my most favorite was just outside of Maggie Valley, NC next to a waterfall.

  25. Many, many, many years ago, when our family lived in southern Illinois, my dad really loved to fish. So, he bought a cabin about an hour away so we all could go fishing and camping for the weekend. At night, we’d roast marshmallows to make s’mores and play board games. I miss those days.

  26. These cards are just delightful, I adore Grace’s heart made with the logs. Fabulous inspiration from the team. I’ve never stayed in a cabin as I prefer camping outdoors.

  27. I’ve never vacationed at a cabin but we do have a family reunion coming up. And its going to be at a cabin! I’m really looking forward to it.

  28. I haven’t seen a log cabin in years. But playing with a log cabin die set in my craftroom, sounds like a lovely idea!

  29. Lake of the Ozarks, MO.
Have a small place down there.
    Lots of fishing and swimming.
    thanks for sharing so many
    cute cards.

  30. There is this interesting little aria on Lake Ontario close to Colburg where there is a section of islands connected together by bridges it’s not very far from the main land to begin with. I found it looking around on Google maps. It looks very neat. Anyways each island has a campground with Cabins. I stayed there in 2018 and it was very nice.
They also have Tree Houses!!! But I haven’t gotten to stay in one yet.

  31. I’ve never stayed in a cabin (yet), but I picture one being cozy and perfect by a lake. This cabin die is so versatile and looks great in every card.

  32. Many years ago, my husband surprised me with a weekend cabin retreat in upstate New York. I’m not sure exactly where it was and neither was my husband – we got lost along the way (pre-GPS or cell-phones) and it took us hours to get there! When we arrived though it was magical – snow falling gently, a fireplace and coziness galore!

  33. You are making me realize I need more cabin getaways. I did have a wonderful trip staying in a cabin on Lake Crescent on the Olympic Peninsula.

  34. My favorite cabin spot in in the mountains of Creston, North Carolina. Peak mountain is the name… beautiful get away. One day I hope its what I see everyday.

  35. We used to spend a week every summer at a cabin way up north in Canada. So many amazing memories and the Build-a-Cabin dies would be perfect for scrapbooking some of those pictures.

  36. We are lucky to like just a couple of hours away from beautiful Banff, Alberta where the cabins and mountains are stunning! But this cute little cabin comes really close to beating it!!

  37. Love the cozy cabins we discovered in Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast, BC. It’s been a while since we’ve been as it’s too cozy (small) with the kids. 🙂

  38. Several years ago we rented a cabin on 7 acres in MO for our 30th anniversary. It was in the fall and so beautiful. There was a brook that ran in front of the cabin and a fire pit area where we sat in the evening with glasses of wine. Such a relaxing weekend

  39. I’ve never stayed in a cabin. I am more of a beach bungalow/house kind of gal. If we are in the woods, we are usually in a camper.

  40. We once stayed in a cabin in Jasper, Alberta and the wildlife (elk and deer) walked right past our windows. Thanks for the chance to win.

  41. The closest I get to the outdoors, lol… is a one nite stay at the Wilderness Lodge at Disneyworld.
Not a camper, so that would def be glamping. Love Day 2, that wooden heart and the embossed wood without the foil plate. Thats interesting.

  42. My favorite cabin memories are from my aunt & uncle’s. It was tiny 1 room, no running water and no heat, cow pasture and fishing tank. One of my favorite places in the world!

  43. I have never vacationed at a cabin but how amazing would that be!?! We love the outdoors and now I’m on a mission!

  44. I am loving this cute cabin for beavers and other critters! My favorite cabin vacation spot is Lake Tahoe. Summer or winter, any season is beautiful there!

  45. Anywhere on a nice lake is ideal! We have a cabin like place we stay in Oliver BC but it’s not the place it’s the people we go with that make it my fave!!

  46. I’ve only gone camping once….I know shocker! It was a disaster so I’ve never tried again. BUT this cute cabin is making me think if I found the right spot it would be amazing! 🙂

  47. My favorite cabin vacation spot is in Glacier National Park! The mountains are beautiful but grizzly or black bears can show up unannounced – and rightly so because, after all, it is their home and we are just visitors there!

  48. Our favorite cabin getaway spot is Lost Lake in Oregon…Can’t wait to make some cabin and woodland creatures valentines! December 15th Hurry uup!

  49. Our family rents a cabin every year to get us all together – so much fun! Would love to have one of my own in the woods … some day maybe. 🙂

  50. I stayed in a mini log cabin at summer camp when in 7th grade. We had two sets of triple bunk beds and a twin bed for the counselor. It didnt have a kitchen or a fireplace though, which is a must have for those cozy winter days that this die cut is currently inspiring.

  51. My parents had a cabin up north in Michigan and every time we went there was a grand time. Snowmobiles, fishing, bicyling and driving around to see the wildlife. Those were the good ole’ times.
I love the embossing. It looks so deep and gorgeous. Love all the Beaver creations.

  52. Favorite log cabin vacation destination would be Mackinac city. There are some cute cabins you can rent. Great destination.

  53. We have never vacationed in a cabin. We have always stayed in a tent. I can see many ideas to use the log cabin die set and the wood grain hot foil plate.

  54. Buffalo Lake in northern Wisconsin is my favorite cabin. My cousins owned it, and we had so much fun learning to water ski there, as well as canoeing for the first time. So many great memories with my cousins. I LOVE this whole collection. I NEED the cabin, and I love the beavers and logs. The heart made of logs is so creative.

  55. We loved our vacation home so much that we moved here full time last year. So, I guess my favorite cabin is my own. It’s like being on vacation in the mountains everyday!!!

  56. The build a cabin and hot foil plate are amazing! I have never done a cabin vacation, although, my last vacation that included a stop in Tortuguero, Costa Rica could definitely qualify. Amazing nature and wildlife on the property, with no glass in the windows, so the nature sounds all night long were fantastic – some of the best sleeps I’ve had in a while!

  57. My favorite cabin was in Bemidji, MN. We had a cabin along the lake for July 4th and went out on the lake in a boat to watch the fireworks. It was so beautiful to see the fireworks reflecting on the lake. What a magical time.

  58. Our favorite “cabin” vacation spot is Bass Lake, near Yosemite area. We have spent summers there riding on pontoons, renting a boat and hiking. This year, after Christmas, we will go back up (first time in the winter.) Living in So Cal, we don’t get many white winters. I can’t to own wood grain hot foil. (I just need to remember how to using my foiling system the correct way.)

  59. So i have never stayed at a log cabin…but I’ve always imagined it would be beautiful to stay at one by Lake Tahoe!

  60. Love, that hot foil plate! So glad you are making them now. My aunt and uncle owned a set of cabins in Canada right on a lake and we used to go there. It was really peaceful and we had to get there on a train, which was neat.

  61. My favorite cabin vacation spot would be Estes Park. I lived in Denver for a couple of years and miss those gorgeous mountains!

  62. My favourite cabin vacation spot….maybe watching the yule log on tv at Christmas-time? HA! No cabins for me. I like my creature comforts too much.

  70. This cabin is adorable! As a child I would go with my grandparents and stay in cabins at Clear Lake and I have such wonderful memories!

  71. Favorite cabin vacation spot is Iron Springs. Love the cabin die, so many fun ways to use it. So clever the way Elise used the Woodgrain Hot Foil Plate. I don’t have a foiling machine, so don’t usually look at the foiling plates. Elise’s sample has me putting the woodgrain foil plate on my wish list.

  72. My favorite cabin vacation spot is Herrington Manor State Park. It’s so pretty and quiet there. Lots of hiking, swimming, etc.

  73. I’ve never had a cabin vacation actually! But if/when I do, I would go to Maryland with my bestie and check out the places she loves. It’s so pretty there!

  78. As a child my family & friends would rent a cabin near a lake in NJ & in PA.
Us kids would pitch tents around a campfire were we ate smores while
adults would tell us scary tales! It was fun but I’m a mermaid & loved the!
    the shore/beach more! 💗

  79. I would go for a cabin in the Pocono Mts of PA… but I love ME and VT as well. I am blown away by all these great samples from the DT. Fantastic work!
    Lori S in PA

  80. What a super cute log cabin! We usually don’t stay in a cabin because we usually take our motorhome everywhere. We did visit Wisconsin in October and it was beautiful!

  81. i love going to the cabins in the poconos! camping is so fun, tho we usually do it with tents and no amenities! love the new release!

  84. I am super excited for the Hot Foil Plate! The wood grain looks really pretty. The Build A Cabin is going to go well with it!

  85. When I was a child we would go to the Oregon coast every summer and stay at a beach cabin. It was such a magical place at a sheltered cove! Wonderful memories ❤️

  86. I don’t have a hot foil plate so I was so happy to see one of the designers used the wood grain plate without the heat or foil. I can think of so many uses for this die.

  87. Super cute and cozy! My favorite cabin was my grandparent’s cabin out in the beautiful remote mountains of Northern California.

  98. Phantom Ranch at the bottom of Grand Canyon, beautiful, peaceful and they serve a delicious steak dinner in the canteen. I highly recommend the hike and staying at Phantom ranch, experience of a lifetime.

  99. I’m from Wisconsin, so my favorite camping spot is in St. Germain, WI. There are so many lakes in our Up North area that there’s tons to choose from. We started going “Up North” 3 months after our second child was born and only missed the year that our third child was born because it was very hectic with a baby that didn’t like to sleep so we skipped that year. Our oldest child is 31 and we still go Up North every summer, but now instead of five of us, there are nine in total and hoping to add a few more. That doesn’t include the three puppers that come with us as well. It’s a FULL HOUSE and one heck of a great family vacation!

  100. I guess our cabin, was the cottage rental we did each summer until recently here in Ontario. My family came from various cities across Canada (and Australia) , to enjoy being together in a cottage by a lake. Very awesome.

  101. OMGosh! Again today I’m overjoyed and overwhelmed with happiness! (Doing a happy dance!) The little beavers and the little cabin are so adorable! I love how Lawn Fawn continues to inspire us to keep creating. All the cards today are just wonderful, with great skill and care. Can’t wait for this release!

  102. I wish I could remember the name of the place we stayed at when we drove from Connecticut to Washington! It was in South Dakota, near Mt Rushmore. The cabin was amazing and my kiddo’s built memories for a lifetime!

  103. I’m not much for roughing it and haven’t been to many cabins but my friend’s family used to have one that her Grandfather built. It was very rustic and not in a very exciting location but we took an annual girls weekend trip up there for several years and had some great and memorable times.

  104. My grandparents had a timeshare cabin in the mountains of North Carolina. So many fond memories growing up! Learning to fish, hiking in the hills, and seeing snow (We lived in FL…no snow there)!

  105. We did a Canadian roadtrip, and stayed in a log cabin near Jasper… it was amazing! It was like staying in Goldilocks’ home!!!

  109. When I loved in Colorado, one of my friends lived in the cutest little log cabin for awhile, it was always fun to hang out there.

  110. What a cute cabin💕 and I have to say, OMG,I’m a big fan of the woodgrain backdrop. I have the stamp, the die and now… I have to get a glimmer machine for the hot foil plate! 😍💕

  111. My husband took me on a surprise skiing trip just the year we met. We had that little wood cabin right in the middle of the skiing hill and I loved it! Everyone was rushing to get the last trip down while we just did a little curve and then sat on the porch in the afternoon sun, enjoying the silence. In the evening there were the snowcats preparing everything for the next day, but all you could see were their lights moving over the mountains. And it didn’t even bother me, that we had no running water there because everything was frozen, and that we had to walk a bit to a larger cabin to use the shower there. It’s a very fond memory of mine!

  112. This has to be my FAVORITE! Cabin and hot foil woodgrain! I am in love and the beavers are a nice new addition, so cute. One of my favorite spots to stay in a cabin is in my home state of Idaho, on Payette Lake in McCall.

  113. I don’t have too many cabin vacations under my belt, but I loved staying in Arnold, CA, but I think it was more the company then the location 🙂

  114. A log cabin in Vermont during the winter with snow on the ground and a fire in the fireplace would be my favorite log cabin vacation spot.

  115. My favorite spot is in Flagstaff Arizona at the Nordic Center, you can rent cabins and yurts… the best time is in the snow!

  116. I have never stayed in a log cabin. We do not live terribly far from the Smoky Mountains in TN, and I think that could be cozy and fun!

  117. Adorable cabin!! I actually have a cabin in the mojave desert, it’s cinderblock, but holds many many fun family memories!! My favorite log cabin stay was in Big Bear!

  118. My fiancé and I recently took a trip with my parents to Tennessee and stayed in a cabin. It was so peaceful and nice. But, that has been my only experience so, by default wins!

  121. Wow! Who would have thought you could use the hot foil plate for embossing! That amazing. My favorite cabin vacation is in Gatlinburg. Of course tha’ts probably because that’s the only cabin vacation I’ve taken.

  122. There’ve been a couple of “cabins” that I’ve rented with friends for a weekend scrapbooking retreat. Being all cozy in warm cabin up in the woods while crafting with my friends is one of my favorite getaways.

  123. I love the Tennessee Smokey Mountains cabins. My family vacations there often and always rent a cabin when we stay.

  124. My favourite cabin spot is near Nakusp, Canada. It’s just absolutely beautiful, quiet and peaceful. This cabin die is soo cute and fabulous addition of cute houses for the critters to call home.m

  125. These little cabins are adorable and so fun!! The only place we have stayed in a cabin (and it isn’t a log cabin, just a little cabin) is at the Word of Life Family Campground in Schroon Lake, NY.

  126. Never stayed in a log-cabin… but love watching videos of people building their own log-cabin! Does that count? Ha ha ha… The cabin is so cute!!!!

  127. Our best friends built their own house…made of logs. I can hardly wait to send them a card when they host our family for rodeo this year!

  128. Our favorite cabin vacation is at the Kokee cabins on the island of Kauai! It’s at the top of a mountain and is the hub of outstanding hiking trails. Highly recommend!

  129. OMGosh I love this log cabin and the little beavers and scenery! My favorite cabin adventure would be in Yosemite, though I have not been since sixth grade camp and that was a lot of years ago, lol. Just brings back memories.

  130. Elise using the hot foil plate to emboss the design is such an amazing idea and definitely one that I need to try myself🤩

  131. My favorite cabin vacation has been at Silver Falls in Oregon. Everyone got to camp together instead of just the family that was comfortable in tents, and the falls were beautiful.
