Critters on the Savanna

 Annie was one of our CHA catalog contest winners and when we sent her her prize we couldn’t wait to see what she made with her new goodies! Isn’t this Critters on the Savanna card gorgeous? Her coloring is so beautiful. She water-colored with Distress Inks. I love that she used non traditional colors on the critters, and those white lines she added are so cute! She also used some Pink Lemonade papers for her background. Thank you so much for sharing this card with us, Annie!

Valentine’s Week! Day 3 + a new team member

Hello, everyone! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so we thought we would put together a little Valentine’s Day Inspiration week with the design team! Come by every day this week to see some lovey-dovey projects!

Chari‘s card is too sweet!! She used Bee Mine to create a custom background, Here’s the Scoop for her sweet treat, And a Partridge for the sentiment (love that a holiday set can be used year round), and our new set Critters on the Savanna (releases mid February) for the giraffes! She used mirror stamping. Here is a link to a video by Chari that shows this technique!

Next up we have our newest design team member, Elena Roussakis! Elena is fabulously talented, and we are so thrilled to have her join our team! Woohooo!!

Here is a little bit about her:

I drink lots of coffee.  Lots.  I’ve been happily married for 10 years. I’m a 30-something mom of three kids under the age of seven. When I’m not playing dress-up or cooking or cleaning the same messes for the 26th time in the same day, I like to make pretty things.

And here is her super sweet Valentine!

Elena used Dewey Decimal papers for her school themed Valentine. She also used Schoolhouse Backdrops, Check This Out, and Smitty’s ABCs for her custom punny sentiment. My Silly Valentine and Blissful Botanicals helped create her “crest”. This is just too cute!

3 new stamp sets!

We are so excited to begin sharing
everything we have been working on for the Craft and
Hobby Association (CHA) Trade Show!! Today we are showing 3 of our 10 new stamp sets! These products will release in February, and we will have inspiration weeks then, too, of course!
We will be showing our new paper collections, stamps, and a fun new
product this week and next, and we will, of course, have giveaways each
day!

Lawn Trimmings

Summertime Charm is a brand new 4×6 set. It coordinates with our new Pink Lemonade paper collection, and it is so much fun to decorate and fill the mason jar!

Lynnette has made the cutest sample using the fireflies from the set! I just love them! She also used some of the new Lime Lawn Trimmings from yesterday!

 Critters on the Savanna is the newest addition to the Critters series! These critters have been long requested, and we hope you love them!

 Yainea‘s adorable scene makes me smile! She also used Interlocking Backdrops for her background and a tree from Critters Down Under. I love how well the Critters sets work together!

Latisha‘s card is so sweet! I love the bird and lion together! That chevron paper? That’s from the new Pink Lemonade paper collection we will show soon!

 This is our newest ABCs font. I love how quirky and bold it is. There are lots of extra letters and they all have a rectangle base so that they line up perfectly! It’s a great addition to our ABCs!
