Aww, Shucks! Chari has the cutest birthday cards to share with us today! She created custom punny sentiments and paired them with Stitched Gourds and Stitched Pumpkins. You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

I love it when a cute idea becomes the cutest card! Chari totally nailed it with this charming belated birthday card! She die-cut the corn from Stitched Gourds in bright yellow and green textured canvas cardstock, then added some ink for depth of color. Then she lined them up on a panel of Fruit Salad “so a-peel-ing” 12 x 12 paper that she stamped with corn stalks!


And then she stamped the punny sentiment in Henry Jr.’s ABCs and Offset Sayings: Birthday with Soot ink before finishing the card with crows from Happy Harvest! And of course, she added sparkle with Star Dust Stickles.


Chari followed the same basic for her second card, this time adding in a couple of Stitched Pumpkins with the colorful gourds. The cute mice from You Autumn Know add lots of whimsy!


And again, she used Henry Jr.’s ABCs to stamp the punny sentiment with another sentiment from Offset Sayings: Birthday!

A Hive Five Card Set in a Pop-Up Bee Box with Grace

Grace is with us today to share another brilliant project! This time she created a set of 4 Hive Five cards with a Pop-Up Bee decorated Gift Box to hold them!


This is such an amazing gift idea! Grace created four sweet 4-bar sized cards with a friendship theme. Then she made a Gift Box to fill with the cards and 4-bar sized envelopes!

Grace made the Gift Box using paper from the All the Dots Collection pack. Then she decorated it with a Honeycomb Stenciled Scalloped Rectangle panel, a die cut sentiment and the Pop-Up Bee!


She gave the Pop-Up Bee some pretty wing detail with blue Pastel Pearlescent Vellum and Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock. Then she added some shading to the wings using Peacock Ink. I love how she also stenciled the base of the Pop-Up Bee with honeycombs to match the panel underneath.

Then, Grace created the 4-bar (3 1/2″ x 4 7/8″) cards with Hive Five and more stenciled honeycomb pattern.


Grace created sweet sentiments by combining Hive Five and Henry Jr.’s ABCs stamped with Black Licorice, Sunflower and No. 2 Pencil inks.


For the honeycomb stenciling, Grace used Lawn Fawn inks in Butter, Pizza Crust and Peach Fuzz.


Grace tied the card set together with the Gift Box by using All the Dots paper and of course the fun bee theme!

Today is our showcase of Henry Jr.’s ABCs and Henry Jr.’s ABCs Spanish Add-On! We love Henry’s ABCs alphabet dies so much we created a stamp version (that has coordinating smaller letters!) This set contains letters and numbers in easy-to-align clear stamps ready to help customize your sentiments for your next project! This add-on to Henry Jr.’s ABCs includes special characters to create your sweet sentiments in Spanish.

Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end to inspire you! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!


Latisha created a whimsical design using Henry Jr.’s ABCs to spell out favorite song lyrics! She used Cloudy Stencil for the softly inked clouds and she also included a cat from Purrfectly Wicked!


Grace created two cards that are so extraordinary! She used Just Stitching Scalloped Circle to highlight the adorable critters also adding an inky blend of color in the background! Then she stamped the sentiments with Henry Jr.’s ABCs and Henry Jr.’s ABCs Spanish Add-On!


Grace stamped a message of lasting friendship for this design. Then she altered the Tiny Gift Box Unicorn and Horse Add-On to create a pig, stacking the head and feet to fit her card design!


Next, Grace used the Spanish Add-On to customize her “missing you” message! Again, she used the Tiny Gift Box Unicorn and Horse Add-On, this time to create a charming cow!


Creating a heartfelt card for mom is so easy with Embroidery Hoop and What’s Sewing On papers! Yainea created a custom sentiment with Henry Jr.’s ABCs and Scripty Mom!


Oh, my goodness, Marine‘s card is so amazing! She spelled out her starry theme with Henry’s ABCs and Henry Jr.’s ABCs! She used cute bears from Den Sweet Den and Snow Much Fun along with How You Bean Star Add-On that so perfectly carry out the theme!


With Twinkling Navy Let it Shine Starry Skies paper in the background, Marine upped the shine by using gold sparkle cardstock to spell “star”. She also added lots of cuteness with the fishing pole from Beary Happy Holidays!


You can make any adorable card so much sweeter and more memorable with a custom stamped sentiment! Elena‘s Beary Rainy Day design features an encouraging message!


Audrey‘s simple design makes is so beautiful! Inspired by the cute Ocean Shell-fie octopus, Audrey stamped a punny greeting with Henry Jr.’s ABCs! Making this card even more special she stenciled waves in the background and cleverly placed her scene at the bottom of the card.


Megan made her sentiment look fun and customized by stamping one word with Henry Jr.’s ABCs! I love how she gave the letters a whimsical look by stamping them a little wonky. She created her scene by combining Build-A-Barrel Apple, Yay Kites and Some Bunny and it’s so adorable! Also adorable are the cute Simply Celebrate Critters bunnies lining the top of this card!


Kara’s birthday card is so festive with stenciled confetti and a colorful Fishtail Banner Border! She combined all three Henry’s ABCs sets to send happy wishes in Spanish!


Lynnette‘s design is so summery and fun! Her clean simple card features Simply Celebrate Summer with a punny greeting courtesy of Henry Jr.’s ABCs!


Lynnette created another fruit themed summery card with Berry Special! She stamped part of the sentiment with Henry Jr.’s ABCs to customize the greeting!


Caly‘s card is so delightful and welcomes a new baby with the cutest Elephant Parade critters and a Henry Jr.’s ABCs greeting! This design is so sweet and definitely a keeper!
