I Like You (a Lotl)

Hugs & Kisses (a lotl) with Franci

Hello Friends! We hope the new year is treating you well so far! Today we have a delightful card by Franci that features I Like You (a lotl)!

Franci started by stamping the cute axolotl image, plants and bubbles from I Like You (lotl) with Jet Black ink. She colored them with alcohol markers giving the axolotl a sweet pink hue! I love how she arranged the images in the window created from the Outside In Stitched Heart Stackable!

Franci cut our new Hugs & Kisses Line Border from silver glitter cardstock from the Sparkle Holiday pack and paired it with the pun from I Like You (a lotl)! So cute! To add even more cuteness, she drew polka dots with a white gel pen on the colorful cardstock!

Merry Christmas (a lotl)!

Merry Christmas everyone! We hope you are enjoying a lovely holiday!

Christy joins us today to share some sweet axolotl inspiration with you!

Christy used Distress Oxide ink in Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sapphire to blend a watery backdrop for a pair of axolotls from our new mini set, I Like (a lotl)! She used Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs to create the look of sand. She splattered more of the oxide ink on the background, then she added sparkle by sprinkling on Liquid Stardust!

Christy stamped all the images with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and colored them with Copic markers. Then she cut them out using the coordinating dies.

She assembled her adorable scene and finished by stamping the sentiment and bubble hearts in coordinating colors of Distress Oxide ink!

Jessica features our cute little axolotl in his fresh water aquarium! She used Distress Oxide inks to add all the bold color to the background and the aquarium tank.

Jessica included the seaweed and bubbles from I Like You (a lotl) with the die cut sand castles and sea grass from Build-an-Aquarium. Scripty Hugs pairs perfectly with the punny sentiment!
