Happy Saturday! It’s time for another brilliant card design with Megan! This time she brings us a little snowman humor featuring Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On and Making Frosty Friends! We also have a bonus video by Chari at the end of this post!
Megan’s idea for this adorable card is a melting snowman snow globe! She started with Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On and then got really creative mixing and matching sets! Most of the snowman images are found in Making Frosty Friends but she also included the carrot from Hoppy Easter.
To give the look of the snowman melting, Megan drew a squiggly line for the bottom of the snowman, then she fussy cut it leaving a thin border. She filled the scene with a Christmas tree from Christmas Dreams and smaller trees from Winter Village.
Megan used Large and Small Stitched Circles to cut the snow globe and lined it with a circle of acetate. I love how she filled it with fluffy iridescent bits to look like snow! She found that perfect sentiment in our Here’s the Scoop set! So brilliant and so much fun!
Thank you so much, Megan! This card is so full of charm!
We are so thankful for all of you, so we wanted to give you a shipping discount and a special surprise to show our gratitude! And any day year-round when a fun critter with a punny greeting is just the thing! This set is only available at lawnfawn.com and only until November 29 or while supplies last!
We have some amazing samples by our Design Team using this never-before-released mini set!
I love how Elena used the cute croc to create a fun pattern for her fantastic design! She added some party hats, hearts and a love letter as embellishment and called this charming card done!
Megan used the cute croc to inspire her Peter Pan themed design! She combined elements from Ahoy Matey, Fairy Friends and Toucan Do It to create a card that is so special and fun! I love how she gave Captain Hook the mustache from Dad + Me, so very clever!
Elise created the perfect scene for this pair of crocs! She started by stenciling grass and then she added a pond along with Bayou Backdrop! She included some cattails and grass and then added the sentiment and hearts from this mini set!
Audrey has never met a critter that she didn’t think could look cuter with googly eyes! Her wide-eyed croc is right at home in her beautifully water-colored scene! She added Cattail Border and some Puffy Cloud Frames to add sweet detail to her design!
And now Chari has a video to introduce Croc My World and share a cute card from start to finish! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.
Thanks so much for watching!
So, head on over to lawnfawn.com to take advantage of this Thanksgiving thank you! We can’t wait to see what you create with this limited edition, free gift set, Croc My World!
Grace used half a 2 3/8″ plastic ornament for each snowflake ornament. And then as final finishing touch, she filled the ornaments with tiny beads to look like snowballs! So adorable and totally clever!

Today, Joy shares a super fun Penguin Party card and gift tags to start the holiday inspiration! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.
I love a tall slimline card for showing lots of action in a scene! Lynnette used Stitched Hillside Borders to create layers of snowbanks for the all the mouse activities! She placed the Merry Mice in the foreground and Mice on Ice skating in the background.
Mayra‘s card and snow globe tag are so creative! The little girl from Joy to All is a big fan of The Little Mermaid so she decorated her Mermaid-themed room for Christmas with fun ocean accents! Mayra combined lots of sets to deck out her beautiful card and tag!
Mayra’s tag features Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On with a Build-A-Castle for the mermaid! She used more Christmas Fishes trees in addition to underwater elements from You Are Sublime. Be sure to check out the supply list below for all the sets she used!
Mindy‘s adorable card brings back some wonderful old favorites! She combined Snow Day with Making Frosty Friends to create this adorable card to warm someone’s heart! Mindy built the scene on a mini slimline card base which is such a fun size! The silver embossed sentiment from Snow Day looks so pretty!
If one Magic Holiday Messages greeting is good, then creating a card with multiple messages is awesome! Melissa combined the greetings in a pretty grid pattern on a lovely snowflake stenciled background to create a design that is so uniquely beautiful!
Elena featured the cute kids from Joy to All on her beautiful card which she filled with a nostalgic theme! Of course, you can’t go wrong with traditional red and green for a Christmas card! She used these colors for the Plaid stenciled background and those adorable jammies! The Christmas Garland and the plate of gingerbread cookies are the perfect finishing touches!
