Mayra’s Light-Up Robot Valentine Cards

Hello friends! We are so happy to announce that Mayra Duran-Hernandez is joining the Lawn Fawn family as a regular blog contributor! She has been inspiring us with her brilliant card designs and we know she will inspire you too! Today she has a pair of special Valentine cards to share with us!

These adorable designs shine in bright primary colors with an awesome robot theme!

Mayra used Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Landscape as the base of this fun shaker design! She combined the cute robots from Charge Me Up with the letters and packages from Special Delivery and Special Delivery Box Add-On. She added the tiny greetings on the cute speech bubbles from Say What? Gift Tags and filled the shaker windows with sparkly sequins!

To create this super cute robot, Mayra combined Stitched Rectangles with bits and pieces from other die sets including Spring Critter Huggers and Lacy Heart Stackables! She used the sentiment from Charge Me Up to add the fun greeting!

For the background she layered a Polka Heart Backdrop with a Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Window to frame the robot!

Mayra added a light circuit so this special Valentine lights up!

Thank you so much, Mayra! These cards are just too much fun! We are so happy to welcome you to the Fawny family!

Lawn Fawn Video {1.16.21} Kara’s Cute Yeti Slimline Card

Happy Saturday, friends! Kara is here to inspire your weekend crafting! Her slimline Valentine design combines Yeti or Not on a Scalloped Slimline with Hearts shaker card! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you for watching!

Kara created a beautiful watercolor background using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers on the scalloped die cut. I love how it shows through the heart cut outs! She added the same fun watercolor to the Hugs & Kisses Line Border.

Kara finished the card by adding the pair of yetis peeking out of the hearts. She filled the center heart with Chunky Glitter to make a sparkly shaker element!

This card is so much fun, Kara! Thank you for sharing this great video today!

Jenn’s Adorable Snowman-Building Critters

Jenn combined some of our cute critters to create an adorable winter scene!

Jenn combined lots of fun winter sets, including Making Frosty Friends, Cheery Christmas, Snow Cool, Snow Much Fun and Yeti or Not to assembled this fun group of snowman-building critters! You would never guess that those snowballs are our little peas from Be Hap-pea!

For the background, Jenn used our new Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Landscape dies to cut the Let It Shine – Mint Sprinkle ‘n Shine 12×12 paper. She created the snow bank with a Slimline Stitched Hillside Border!

To create that fun and frosty sentiment, Jenn die cut the letters from Finley’s ABCs and ombré inked them with Merman and Mermaid Ink! Then she gave the letters a dusting of Prisma Glitter! So pretty! Then Jenn used Claire’s ABCs to gold emboss the rest of the greeting!

Thanks so much for this frosty fun inspiration today, Jenn!

Jenn’s latest online class, Special Delivery is approaching fast! The fun happens this Saturday January 9th! Jenn will be teaching Copic coloring and card making tips and tricks! Click HERE to get all the details and sign up!
