Lawn Fawn Video {9.30.23} Christy’s Autumn Scene with Winter Birds

Christy created another beautiful card to inspire your cardmaking! She used Winter Birds to color some blue jays for an Autumn scene! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

These Winter Birds are ready for Fall with their scarves in warm Autumn colors! Christy colored them using Copic markers in bold blue to look like blue jays. Then she added falling leaves in the same warm colors as the scarves.

Christy created a lovely Autumn sky with the Cloudy Stencil and Distress Oxide inks in Faded Jeans and Tumbled Glass. She also splattered the same colors over the top to add texture and movement!

I love how Christy incorporated the Scripty Autumn Sentiment into her scene!

First Saturday with Megan {9.2.23} A Happy Harvest Snow Globe Design!

Megan has some timely Happy Harvest inspiration for you as we start to see the seasons change to Autumn! As always, she brings her own beautifully whimsical style to this card design!

Megan continues her series of snow globe themed cards, this time with our beloved Happy Harvest scarecrow! The sweet trio of pumpkins and the signpost from the new Hay There, Hayrides look so perfect in this scene!

She used the Magic Iris Snow Globe Add-On to fit the size of the scarecrow, but for a slightly smaller scene, our new Build-A-Snow Globe will be just right!

The lovely Scripty Autumn Sentiments set is just perfect for adding greetings to Autumn cards and all year long. I love how Megan white embossed “thanks” on an ink blended panel, before cutting it out with the coordinating die.

First Saturday with Megan {5.6.23} A Sewing Themed Thank You Card

We are buzzing with excitement!! Our May Mini Release will be available on May 18th! Megan is back to share another fantastic card design! It’s a fun collaboration of Sew Very Mice, Sewn with Love and Virtual Friends!

It turns out that the Virtual Friends desk is a great sewing table! The sewing machine from Sewn with Love fits perfectly on the desk in Megan’s adorable sewing room scene! I love how she scattered the sewing supplies from both Sew Very Mice and Sewn with Love across the floor with the cute mice who are busy with their sewing project!

Megan used “grateful” from Scripty Autumn Sentiments adding “extra thread” from Sewn with Love to create a special greeting! It’s “sew” sweet!

Megan added sweet and subtle details to take this design over the top! She splattered ink and gold metallic paint on the “floor” for some really great texture. Then she added gloss to the sewing machine knob and glitter to the hearts!
