Lawn Fawn Video {2.4.24} Mona’s Colorful Dry-Embossed Card

In today’s video tutorial, Mona uses the Heart Wreath Stencils to create a beautiful dry-embossed card design! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

In the video, Mona shows how to use Bristol cardstock with a stencil to create a unique embossed pattern. She shares a great tip to spritz the cardstock with water, so the paper fibers are softer. She attached the wreath stencil to the paper then used an embossing mat and die-cut machine to emboss the wreath.

Next, she used the flower stencil in Heart Wreath Stencils to color the heart flowers with Tombow markers. The colors she used are so brilliant!

Mona stamped the Porcu-pine for You critters, flower from Oh Gnome and envelope from Special Delivery with Jet Black Ink. Then she colored the images with Tombow markers to match the Pink Tutu paper that frames the embossed panel!

She cut Scripty Hello from glittery Sparkle Kraft cardstock, then layered it on two more die cuts in white. And then she heat-embossed the sentiment from Magic Heart Messages in white, and fussy cut it before layering it on top of the Scripty Hello.

I love this fun dry-embossing technique! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful and creative card with us, Mona!

Jenn’s Mermazing Card!

Join us tomorrow for the Big Giveaway post and the start of June Inspiration Week, woohoo! We are so excited to highlight the rest of our Summer 2022 release! We will have intro videos, Design Team samples and as always, daily giveaways! It’s going to be so much fun!

Who had “Jenn creates with Mermazing Mermaid” on your summer 2022 bingo card? If there were such a thing you could cross that one off! Of course, our favorite mermaid used this new die set to make an absolutely mermazing card!

Jenn created this amazing watery background using Distress Spray Stains. Then she added a greeting using Scripty Hello and Wavy Sayings.

She used Copic markers to color the pretty mermaid. (Check out the Copic marker chart below.) And then she added sparkle with lots of glitter!

Thank you for this beautiful inspiration, Jenn!

Jenn’s Stenciled Rainbow Clover Cards

Jenn is back with another awesome project to inspire you! This time she created gorgeous rainbow cards with Clover Background Stencils!

Jenn’s rainbow inking with Clover Background Stencils is just so amazing! On one card she left it plain, then on the other she added splatters for even more fun! To get the great blend of colors Jenn inked with both regular Distress Ink and Distress Oxide Ink in Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed and Peacock Feathers.

She inked up Lucky Clovers dies and layered them behind Scripty Hello! Then she finished this card with a sentiment from Celebration Scripty Sentiments!

I love how she layered several Scripty Hello die cuts in Black Licorice cardstock to give dimension to the gold glitter die cut on top! She finished the card with a sweet sentiment on a Simple Wavy Banner and a bit of Chunky Glitter!

Thanks so much Jenn, for this brilliant inspiration!

Jenn has a couple of new online classes coming up next month! Check out her new classes for Spring: Berry Fun and Rain or Shine, click HERE.
