Mayra’s Amazing Slimline Card is S’more Fun!

Mayra joins us today to share an amazing slimline scene card! She used S’more the Merrier with Build-A-Campsite and then gathered a whole lot of fun critters to enjoy making s’mores together!

Always the queen of the amazing scene card, Mayra certainly doesn’t disappoint with this charming scene! In addition to the cute S’more the Merrier images, she brought in critters from Den Sweet Den, Forest Feast and Butterfly Kisses!

Mayra started her design using Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Portrait and Large Slimline with Sliders dies! And then she filled in the colorful scene using Gleeful Gardens, Critters in the Forest, Open Me and Snowy Backdrop! Be sure to check out the complete supply list below to see all the sets she used.

To create her fantastic greeting, Mayra used Oliver’s Stitched ABCs on a vellum banner. She substituted the O with the yummy s’more from Sweet Friends so she could continue the theme of her super clever design!

Design Team Favorites Week {Day 2}

Welcome to this special week! We are excited to share the favorite stamps, dies and papers of our Lawn Fawn Design Team this week! They have created amazing inspiration using their favorites! We will have daily giveaways all week, so be sure to comment on each post August 9 – 13 to enter for a chance to win a stamp set with coordinating die of your choice along with a 6×6 paper pack!

Marine is a fan of interactive cards, so she created an amazing Magic Picture Changer! She used a slimline design to fit two Build-A-Campsite tents to flank the changing picture. We all know that Marine loves to make fun scenes and the Screen Time kids are the stars of many of her designs. To fill the camping scene, she included images from S’more the Merrier, On the Beach, Super Star and Oh Gnome.

When you pull the tab, the picture changes to reveal the campfire! The cute camping kids can now get those marshmallows toasted for the s’mores!

Lynnette loves the colors in our Into the Woods Remix papers, so she created a beautiful Fall card with them! She featured Outside In Stitched Pumpkin, Stitched Pumpkin Frame and a Happy Fall Line Border!

Audrey‘s favorite set is Making Frosty Friends, so of course her card features this cute snowman! It’s a favorite of many of us, too! Audrey included newer products like Mice on Ice to create a fun scene! For the background, she inked with Snowflake Trio Stencil and added Mini Snowflakes!

Kara cut each of the Flippin’ Awesome panels from Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper. Then she added some heat embossed stars and a bit of ink blending to create a fun purple night sky on each panel!

The first three panels show each critter all alone at a campfire; the fox is warming his paws, the hedgehog is setting his marshmallow on fire and…

…the owl is playing a campfire song on the guitar!

The final scene shows the squirrel (from Let’s Go Nuts) bringing all the friends together to share some yummy s’mores! Kara added a sentiment from S’more the Merrier that sums up these little scenes perfectly!
