lawn fawn video: how to make a shaped card

Hello! I have had a few people ask me how I make shaped cards (like this one), and I was making a shaped card for my next SPCC assignment, so I thought it would be a perfect time to make a quickie video. Now, I don’t have the old set up I used to have, so I balanced the tripod on the back of my chair. Not so good. So, please forgive me for…

I needed to make them a card, so I decided to get inspiration from TravelingMama’s challenge and my first…

Thinking Inking Embellishments

I know I can’t stop talking about Jennifer McGuire’s Thinking Inking class, but I just really love it! Two Peas is so amazing for offering this class for free! This past week was all about alcohol inks, and they are really fun to work with. It is fun to do something so different! This butterfly was stamped on a transparency swiped with alcohol inks. I then backed it with white card stock.
This butterfly was…

Hero Arts website challenge & Thinking Inking Week 5

Happy Monday! This card has techniques from the alcohol week of Thinking Inking and is part of the website challenge for Hero Arts. This card was my inspiration for the Hero Arts challenge. I love using alcohol inks. I picked up some more this weekend! I used a transparency and swiped three colors across it to create a scene at dusk. I backed the transparency with an alcohol ink covered glossy paper to make it…
