Little Things from Lucy’s Cards + Lawn Fawn, Day 1

I am so excited about this week! We are collaborating with Lucy Abrams and Little Things from Lucy’s Cards! Lucy’s shop is filled with “stylish and unique embellishments for crafts”! You will find beautiful sequins and beads along with Shaker Selections and Confetti Mixes! They are gorgeous!

We will have awesome Design Team projects all week and a couple videos, too!

Lucy combined Mom + Me with the shaker globe from Ready Set Snow and a new sentiment in our Ready Set Shake greetings set. I love the cute paper-pieced mom and baby owl and the beautiful pink shades of the Shaker Mix!

Lynnette used a Stitched Rectangle Frame and the Fairy Lights Sparkly Shaker Selection to make an adorable shaker card. I love that she combined Fintastic Friends with Life is Good and So Jelly; these sets play nicely together to create a fun underwater scene! Let’s Polka in the Meadow and Perfectly Plaid 6×6 papers coordinate beautifully with a Stitched Scalloped Border in Fake Tan cardstock.

I love Elena‘s sweet Rooting for You shaker card! The Purely Peppermint Shaker Mix looks like pretty drops of water from the watering can. The sentiment from Love ‘n Breakfast is just right, too!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for more awesome Design Team inspiration using sequins and shaker mixes from Little Things from Lucy’s Cards!

To learn more about the challenge and to see more of Kathy’s awesome coloring, please visit her blog, The Daily Marker. She just may have a giveaway for you as well 🙂

Now on to Kathy’s amazing Fairy Friends card!

Kathy created a beautiful scene for our little fairy!

I love how Kathy stamped the flower stalk 3 times to make it taller, that is such a clever idea!

Kathy’s coloring is truly remarkable! I just love all the amazing detail she added to the fairy images. And how about that cute sunflower “hat”; so clever!

Kathy made a video showing how she extended the flower stalk and added detail to the fairies; you can find it at her YouTube channel HERE.

Please head over to The Daily Marker for more about this card and to enter her giveaway!

We are thrilled that you joined us today, Kathy! Thank you so much!

A Cute Chirpy Chirp Chirp Easter Card by Yainea!

Our Design Team member, Yainea, joins us on the blog today with a simply adorable Easter card using Chirpy Chirp Chirp!

I am enchanted with Yainea’s beautiful pink sky! She white heat-embossed the fluffy clouds from Sunny Skies, then she blended on some Spun Sugar Distress Ink. She added a bit of Copic marker in a soft coordinating shade to give the clouds more definition. She colored the chick and the eggs with Copic markers as well. The eggs get their fun pattern play from the Copic Colorless Blender!

Yainea layered her adorable pink panel on a card base of Blue Jay cardstock and stamped her sentiment on the Everyday Sentiment Banner using Deep Sea and Merman inks. I love the look of Navy blue and pink together.

I love this sweet card! Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Yainea!
