I ♥ my AeroGarden

I seriously do!! My good friends, G & S, gave it to me so that I could have plants in my apartment (not enough sunlight comes in to grow plants without an AeroGarden) because I love taking care of G’s flytraps and African violets so much. The first 5 months I had basil, chives and thyme growing in there. Well, now I have switched to flowers!! I am so excited! I am growing marigold, mini geranium, and mimulus. Woo!
Here are some photos of my new sprouts!

JADE GREEN!!

Almost 6000 entries showed up, and here are five of my favorites. Most are jewelry because the word jade brings up a lot of jewelry, but, wow, did I find some gorgeous stuff!!

Oh, necklace by luxedeluxe, how I love thee.
Isn’t this bracelet by TheArdentSparrow the most beautiful thing?
This photo by evesimone is so gorgeous. I wish I was there!
How cute is this necklace by Tefi? Three peas in a pod!
Another gorgeous bracelet. This one is by ellejewels.  I love this. I want it. 🙂

Color Inspiration Challenge #47 No.2

I had to do another challenge! 🙂 As a reminder, here are the colors:

Here is my card:

I started with a cool angle shot this time to change it up a little :).

The colors:
chocolate chip – front circle frame, tree
tangerine tango – sentiment, leaves, brads in flowers
so saffron – inside circle frame, bird, flowers
whisper white – card base, inside card circle

This circle card was cut out with my silhouette from another one of Kristina Werner’s digital kits called Card Shapes Designer Cuts. There are so many cool card shapes in it. I was having a bit of trouble because it seems that my silhouette wants to cut at whatever size it’s feeling at the time, instead of the standard size that the kit was meant for. I wish I had the exact measurements for all the pieces so that I could make sure Craft Robo was cutting it correctly.

More photos:
Here is the inside of my card. The sentiment reads, “Keep a green tree in your heart and perhaps a singing bird will come.” Isn’t that beautiful? Also, I do recognize the irony of using that sentiment with an orange leafed tree. I am guessing the sentiment would ring true with an orange tree too :).

I am in love with these little flowers on the outside. I also love the flying bird. I just had to add it! Anyways, this card makes me happy. I hope it brings you some happy too :).
