Lawn Fawn Video {4.30.19} Mindy’s Sparkly Butterfly Cards!

Mindy is with us today to share some great tips for adding color to our Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock using Lawn Fawndamentals ink! Check out the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

These cards are so beautiful! They needed only some simple additions to the colorfully inked Pixie Dust Sparkle paper! All of the fun dies and stamps are linked in the supply list below.

I just love how the butterfly looks with Fog cardstock layered over white! The Fancy Lattice Backdrop is the perfect choice to pair with the lovely background!

Mindy shares her struggles with making this card in the video. Be sure to watch to see how she discovered the solution to her sticky, or should we say lack of sticky problem. Because dye ink doesn’t soak into the glitter paper as fast as with regular cardstock, it will need extra time to dry. She finally used our 1/4″ Double-Sided Tape for the win!

Thank you so much for sharing these incredible cards with us today, Mindy! The tips and tricks you learned while making them are so helpful!

A Thoughtful Teacher Appreciation Gift by Ivy!

Ivy has created a super adorable and totally thoughtful gift to help you show your kid’s teachers how much you appreciate them!

She started with a Gift Box that she decorated with Spring Fling papers, an Outside In Stitched Apple and an Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle!

Then she created 6 apple-shaped notecards to tuck inside the box! She used more Spring Fling papers and the Outside In Stitched Apple Stackables and Stitched Apple Frames to create these sweet cards!

The “just a note” die is found in the Small Stitched Envelope die set, it’s perfect for this sweet set of notecards!

With no stamping and just a few die sets, this would be a fun project to make with your kids! I’m sure their teachers will feel very appreciated!

Thank you so much Ivy for once again inspiring us to share sweet gifts with teachers! This idea is so thoughtful!
