Renata’s Glow-in-the-Dark Card and Bookmark Set

Renata created two fun projects featuring Nighttime Sky Stencil and Fangtastic Friends! Her glow-in-the-dark card and matching bookmark are so cute!

Renata stenciled the backgrounds with Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot.

Renata masked off the edges of a card panel before she stenciled the moon and background! I love how she stenciled the spooky clouds over the top. Then she added the cute Fangtastic Friends bat along with candy and a sentiment from Fox Costumes Before ‘n Afters. I love the addition of the swirls from You Autumn Know.

And then for some special effects, she stenciled the sparkly stars with Glow-in-the-Dark Stencil Paste on the card. She let them dry completely and then she turned off the lights to see them glow!

The adorable bookmark starts with Large and Small Mini Slimline dies. Renata stenciled the background the same as the card before adding the cute Fangtastic Friends images! To make the hanger for the bookmark cord, she used Snow Globe Gift Tag to sandwich between the layers.

Thank you so much for this fun inspiration, Renata!

Lawn Fawn Video {9.29.22} Kara’s Apple Barrel Card Inspired by a Song

Kara joins us today with another charming card design to inspire us! She created with Build-A-Barrel: Apple and a musical theme. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

All of the amazing color on Build-A-Barrel: Apple and Henry’s ABCs starts with Textured Canvas cardstock! Kara added shading and highlight with Distress Ink and Copic Markers, finishing with some white gel pen shine!

The adorable mice are from Apple-solutely Awesome, You Autumn Know and Berry Special. Kara used Copic markers to give each one a cute personality! She found the first part of her sentiment in the Speech Bubbles Lawn Cuts set. It looks so cute on the Berry Special sign that she colored to look like wood.

I love how she finished the sentiment, based on the old song “A Bushel and a Peck” on the inside of the card! Kara added a fun surprise as well by adding the extra apples, so clever!

I love this beautiful card, Kara! Thank you so much for inspiring us today!

Jenn’s Spooky Trick or Treat Card

Hello friends! Today Jenn is with us to share an amazing Halloween card full of inky goodness!

Jenn’s spooky Halloween card is so amazing! After she cut Full Moon from her Distress Watercolor panel, she gave it an inky background in gorgeous shades of purple! The moon also got inky with an awesome glow! Jenn then added the Spooky Fence Border to the bottom of the panel.

To complete the card, she added the Giant Trick or Treat greeting! I love how she gave it a unique look by layering glittery cardstock on just a part of it! It looks so cool! Then she placed the bat and glittery little sparkles as the final flourish!

Be sure to check out Jenn’s class schedule for upcoming online and in person classes! Click HERE for all the details of her Awesome Autumn online class coming soon on October 8th! And HERE for the Furry & Bright class on October 29th!
