Today we have a special post for one of our fawny friends, Christy. Her home was broken into and many of their things were either destroyed or taken. Many things were sentimental that can never be replaced. My heart just aches for Christy and her family. I can’t image what they are going through.
Many of Christy’s crafty friends have come together today to bring her some joy and help her out as much as we can. Please check out the Lawnscaping Challenge blog for more details on how you can help and links to the other girls on this hop.
We love you and your cards over here at Lawn Fawn, Christy, and we want you to know that we are sending you and your family lots of love. I hope this card makes you smile just a little.
A close up of the koala because it’s hard to look at a koala without smiling.
Hello, everyone! Today is a super fun day because I get to introduce you to our intern, Britta Swiderski. Many of you may know her from her blog, but did you know she is a graphic design student at University of Minnesota? We are thrilled to be having Britta helping us out, especially around CHA time! She is helping us finish up everything and will be in our booth at the trade show, too!
Here is a little bit about Britta from Britta herself! My name is Britta Swiderski and I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with the Lawn Fawn team! Here’s a little more about me so we can get to know one another. As Kelly Marie stated, I’m a Graphic Design major at the University of Minnesota (graduating this fall!). I have a deep love for all things art and have been scrapbooking, cardmaking and crafting for as long as I can remember. I love to explore new techniques and teach others about them, so blogging and making video tutorials has been a natural fit for me. Upon graduation, I plan to work in the crafting industry as a graphic designer and/or instructor. I’ve been a Lawn Fawn lover since the very start of the company, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be working on behind-the-scenes projects with them. Thanks for having me, Lawn Fawn family!
We are lucky to have you, Britta! 🙂
Britta is going to be doing a little video series for us using a new release stamp set with a previous release stamp set. It is a cool way to combine your sets and get lots of new ideas!
