Hello and welcome to Lawn Fawn’s Summer 2016 Inspiration and Release Week! We are just so excited about this week! We are featuring 5 stamp sets, 10 standalone dies and 3 new ink pads with reinkers!
All of our Summer 2016 products will be available on May 19th! Until then we will have fun posts with design team projects, intro videos with Kelly and giveaways!

Today is our showcase of Mermaid for You and its coordinating dies!
This 4″ x 6″ set is oceans of fun! These sweet mermaids and coordinating sentiments and images are perfect for creating adorable underwater scenes!

The design team has made the most amazing samples!
We also have a little video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using the set!

Chari‘s beautiful, ink-blended “water” provides a beautiful backdrop for the cute mermaid and colorful coral!

The layers of Ocean Wave Borders set the stage for Melissa‘s colorful vignette! I love that she left the card base white, it’s the perfect backdrop!

I love that Yainea‘s super cute card is also interactive with a fun circle shaped slider feature. I love the pretty watercolor ocean background!

The school of fish image is perfect for setting the stage on Elena‘s charming card design! I love how she added the “pearl tiara” as a belt for the mermaid, so clever!

Lynnette‘s adorable Mermaid for You card is filled with fresh fun color! I love that she created the ocean scene on a Cross-Stitched Circle! Dew Drop Line Dance paper coordinates beautifully with the Peacock and Mermaid cardstock!

I love this adorable shaker design by Melissa M! She combined Mermaid and Peacock cardstock with Grasshopper Polka paper to create a pretty teal and green color scheme. The machine stitching adds great detail!

Kristin‘s design is so sweet, and it’s perfect for an anniversary or engagement card! The solid coral and sea grass images make it easy to stamp awesome underwater scenes.

I love Jessica‘s colorful underwater scene! The mermaid looks right at home atop the cute narwhal!

Latisha‘s sweet circle-shaped card uses layers of our new Cross-Stitched Circle Stackables! I love the amazing teal and gold color combination!

I love Nichol‘s lovely Mermaid for You shaker card! The pretty scene features a fun water-splashed ocean backdrop using Ocean Wave Borders and our new Cross-Stitched Rectangle Stackables!

  5. Finals week is over for my husband and we were celebrating with his classmate friends. They are Forestry students at Stephen F Austin University; Lumberjacks is their mascot so all the camping, outdoors and forest critter stamp sets are perfect for those guys!

What made me smile today….let's see…it's only 9 am, and it is dreary out, as it has been for at least a week (but seems longer) and to tell the truth I'm feeling sort of down. But as I type this, my Papillion pup, Chai, is curled right next to me. It's her favorite spot, to be cuddled up close where ever I am. She makes me smile on even the most grey of days and moods. Our dog perked up this morning at a commercial about national parks! She usually only pays attention to dogs barking on tv (and she usually barks back…), but today, she just jumped up and stared with her tail wagging! Looks like she loves her national parks! 😀

  186. I grew up on the beach and live landlocked now so mermaids always make me smile. We always have a house with a pool as hubby says he has to keep his mermaid near water. Love Nichole's use of the clear sequins in her shaker card. They look like bubbles.

  321. These are just adorable cards Kelly, I love these Cross-stitched dies. They are all so beautiful. I don't have any "fancy" stitched dies yet…someday… BUT, what made me smile today was seeing the happy faces of our 2 & 4 year old grandsons as they roamed freely at the beach today, selecting rocks to paint frogs, toads and lady bugs on. Priceless!

  503. What made me smile: my friend and I each have fitbit pedometers and on Friday, May 13th we reached a 50,000 steps in one day achievement! That's about 20 miles of walking/running! And it happened to be get 36th birthday! It was a great accomplishment and definitely made me smile!

  519. WOW! This is my first time here and I am so happy I found YOU! I've only recently begun coloring dig stamps with Copics and have started a very small collection. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about using them. YouTube recommended this video to me after I watched a Sandy Allnock Video. I LOVE mermaids and this set is SO ADORABLE! I've never made cards and have none of the supplies you've used here (except for my small Copic collection). I'm blown away & now I want it ALL! You have totally inspired a creative spark in me! Unfortunately, I am disabled and live on a very tight fixed income. It would take me years to amass the tools needed to make something like this. I don't really know where to start, especially since it will take too long. Should I buy the stamp set, a cutting machine, inks & those blending tools: where do I start? I'm so excited about doing this, my mind is just spinning with ideas! I sure hope you read this and can give me some idea of where to start. Thank you so much for making me totally light up and grin from ear to ear!

  585. I watched a video of my niece and she was holding a little sleeping kitten. My dad started talking and she said "GRANDPA!! Shhhhhh he's sleeping!!" while pointing at the kitten ❤️ PS–I really wanna be a mermaid haha!!

  594. These cards are so sweet they are giving me cavities! I gotta have this set just for the little sea horse! Not that the rest of the whole doggone set isn't cute enough but that sea horse just speaks to me and my wallet…lol!

  616. These cards are super adorable. I also love the one you posted on Instagram with the mermaid riding across the waves. I think the shaker cards are my favorite! Its lovely bobbing along on the bottom of the beautiful briny sea!
