Hello and welcome to Lawn Fawn’s Fall/Winter 2016 Inspiration and Release Week! We are just so excited about this week! We are featuring 4 stamp sets, 7 standalone dies, 2 new ink pads with reinkers and our Perfectly Plaid Fall collection!
All of our Fall/Winter 2016 products will be available on August 25th! Until then we will have fun posts with design team projects, intro videos with Kelly, and giveaways!

Today is our showcase of Perfectly Plaid Fall paper collection and our new Lawn Fawndamentals Cardstock and Ink Pads in Narwhal and Storm Cloud!

Elena‘s card and Milk Carton have lots of Halloween character trimmed out with the Candy Corn plaid from the Perfectly Plaid Fall paper collection!
Lynnette‘s cute design is perfect for Fall birthdays! I love how she combined so many elements from new sets, like Stitched Tree Borders, Leafy Tree Backdrop (leaves) and a great greeting from Jump for Joy!
I love Latisha‘s cute Scalloped Treat Boxes! The tree tops from Stitched Tree Borders look great in coordinating Perfectly Plaid Fall papers!

Melissa M created a gorgeous layout using Perfectly Plaid Fall papers and coordinating cardstock colors in Mermaid, Noble Fir and Fake Tan! I love the fun title stamped with Quinn’s Capital ABCs and colored in with white in a scribbly style; so cute!

I love how Kristin paper-pieced the apples and basket from Thanks a Bushel to coordinate with the Perfectly Plaid Fall paper layers on this sweet card!

Lynnette‘s pretty thank you card shows how well Narwhal and Storm Cloud cardstock coordinate with Perfectly Plaid Winter! She die cut Thanks, from the Small Stitched Envelope set, in Storm Cloud and layered it with a label from the same die set onto a Narwhal panel. Cloudy Lawn Trimmings coordinates beautifully as a final detail!

I know I use cute a lot, but this card can’t be described any other way! Chari layered coordinating Perfectly Plaid Fall papers and used greetings from Jump for Joy. I love how she created those adorable pumpkins using the tree “blobs” from Stitched Tree Borders; so clever!

Yainea‘s card embraces the white space with pretty accent stripes from Perfect Plaid Fall! I love how she finished the Dotted Circle panel with a wonderful gold embossed Jump for Joy sentiment!
Perfectly Plaid Fall papers add great color and pattern to Melissa S’s fabulous scrapbook page!

I love Melissa‘s great page title combining Owen’s ABCs stamped in Carrot ink with letters die cut using Finley’s ABCs!
The Apple Cobbler plaid paper is perfect for fun Fall cards like this cutie by Audrey! I love how she paper-pieced the shirt on the Happy Harvest scarecrow! Brilliant!
 I love Lizzy‘s fun card featuring a Small Stitched Envelope die cut from Perfectly Plaid Fall paper in Iced Latte! The cute Put a Bow on It bow is adorable in cork paper, and this is such a cute way to present a gift card!

 The Put a Bow on It bows are lovely die cut from coordinating patterns of Perfectly Plaid Fall papers on Elise‘s beautiful card! The sentiment also die cut from Perfectly Plaid Fall is a Big Scripty Words coordinating die. I love the pretty Scalloped Rectangle Stackables border, it frames the decorated panel perfectly!

  7. I smiled seeing the weather forecast. Rain is pouring down right now, as well as yesterday, but starting tomorrow it promises to be a sun filled week over here, which happens to be the week that I'm free from work! 🙂 I can't wait to try the narwhal ink by the way!

  42. Today I woke up early and watched the Lawn Fawn videos. That made me smile! Love the new colors of ink and can't wait to add these to my collection. The plaid paper is something that would be wonderful for many cards in the near future. Love this release!

  72. These plaids are AH-MAZING!!! What make me smile today was the 1 hour drive I had this morning to my first meeting. It was a lovely morning, sun just coming up and listening to one of my favorite CDs in the car. It was really peaceful and just a great start to my day and week. The little moments… 🙂

We have unbelievably cool weather here in Tucson, AZ this morning….We usually don't get to experience this until October!!!!!   134. Funnily enough, while packing for a trip abroad for my job, we were joking about how my boss thinks we can absurdly accomplish anything and everything, and had a good laugh about it! I love these new stamp sets; can't wait for the release (soon!).

  137. My son made me smile today. He's a freshman in high school this year and doing so well! He's so brave and loves learning and trying new things! He makes me proud every day.

  138. Being woken up by my cat who just wanted me to pet him even though it was 4 in the morning. This has become his routine, not mine, but it still makes me smile. He just wants some loving. He has become my therapy cat since I got sick almost two years ago and we got him a few months before things got bad for me. I keep telling my husband that Koda came into my life at the perfect time. We have a Golden that was supposed to be my therapy dog, but she has become Daddy's girl. I grew up with a lot of cats and when we got married I had a cat (he hated my husband and my husband didn't like the cat, it was kinda funny). He live for close to 18 years so it's been a while since I've had a cat, close to 12 years. It was perfect timing getting Koda. He makes me smile everyday 🙂

  141. Love all the new papers, but I wish that they came in 8.5"x11" as I find that a lot is wasted with the 6"x6", and even 12"x12".

    Finishing a project and really liking it makes me smile!

  164. I went to school to make a new display for our Accelerated Reading program, and I got to see some of my favorite staff members and their kids. I love my kids' school and the people that work there SO much!!

  167. Today, my husband and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary! We married later in life, so this is a special blessing (good things are worth waiting for! I know this to be true!). Watching the slideshow of our wedding day made me smile today (and a bit teary-eyed as well…it was wonderful to see both our dads, who have since passed away, in the photos).

  174. I absolutely love ALL these projects! From gift card holders to cards to scrapbook pages, they can all be made with elements from this release! The designers outdid themselves with their craftiness! Terrific ideas! They made me smile! The release is fall centered and fall is my favorite season, so I smiled a lot as I looked at each one.

  177. Wonderful inspiration for fall projects! My formerly feral cat rushed over to me as soon as I got home today meowing and asking for attention. That made me smile because he's come such a long way from the wild terrified cat he was.

  199. Pretty plaids!
    Today was my kids' first day of school, and it just so happens that my son is a senior…so this was his LAST "first day." I pulled out his school album and found pics from his first day of Kindergarten, including a picture he drew of himself – Spider-Man shoes and all. 🙂 Definitely put a smile on my face!

  203. What made me smile today was that both of my girls (one is a senior in HS and one in 8th grade) were both so excited about their first day of school and rushing to tell me about their day to day.

  217. Today was my 3 kids first day back to school!
    20yr- junior in college at university of Houston
    16yr – sophomore in high school
    6yr- 1st grade! And we didn't have any tears lint smiles!
    I did a chalk mural to announce the 1st day of school it turned out so awesome! We had rain in the forcast so I was nervous! But it didn't rain till 5 hours after the kids go outta school! Yeppie! Everyone on Facebook loved the photo so I had a grin all day long! Now why don't u continue that string of smile and choose my name for the winner?????? Lol take are and I can't wait to get all these goodies!

  229. As I was preparing to leave my sister-in-law's house earlier this evening, I opened my car doors but continued talking with her while standing outside my car. In the meantime, her chunky mutt (part bulldog) managed to climb into my car on the passenger side, but then made his way across the center console and plopped himself squarely in the driver's seat! He wanted no part of getting out and it eventually took my sister-in-law going in and pulling him out. It was pretty funny, except for the trail of drool he left behind LOL

  244. Today I received an email with links to my engagement photos and I was really happy with all the photos our photographer took. I plan on getting some prints and hanging a few on the bare walls in our house. We've been in our home for a little over a year and I still havent managed to hang photos of me and my future husband.

  249. Something that made me smile today was seeing my dog wag his tail because he was so happy we were having pizza for dinner! He knew he would get bites and it was hilarious watching him be so excited.

    I asked my husband his opinion about an element on a card I was making today and instead of answering he suggested that I should ink up the raised embossed design to make it stand out more … it was so wonderful that he took so much interest in my creative pleasure, KNEW what he was talking about and best of all, that he was RIGHT, a touch of ink was the perfect finishing touch, how could I not be SMILING as I type this, I've been smiling all day 🙂

    What made me smile today were my 2 youngest kids. Before the bus comes, we always jump rope or play volleyball – try to get a little active before they head to school – and they were just so fun and funny. As hard as being a mother can be sometimes, seeing your kids with joy on their faces is always the best reward!

  272. Love the new plaid papers and ink colors! It was hard to smile today… my hubby had emergency open heart surgery when an outpatient ablation procedure went wrong. But he bounced back well, considering, and is stable. He is still with us, and seems to be doing reasonably okay, so that is something I must smile about.

  284. I am so excited to see the 2 new inks, I have all your inks and I love them so really that made me smile today, especially the Storm Cloud Ink – love it! Also a picture my brother sent me today of my awesome niece and nephew playing on the beach made me smile, it actually made my day!

  292. I received a FaceTime call from my son who is in the Marines. That put a HUGE smile on my face today as I miss him so. Just to see his face… And I have to say, I LOVE the new plaids!

  305. I saw the video with the fake spider being thrown beside the cat and the cat jumping, I swear, 2 feet in the air. I just cackled. I love plaid for fall and winter. These are beautiful!

  313. I LOVE your stamps and dies. They are so hard to get here in New Zealand. I've just purchased myself a few online though and they are AWESOME. I especially love the stitched hillside pop up – pop up cards are right up my alley and would LOVE to be able to get these dies.

  364. Wow, what a wonderful collection of ideas to build from. This is a nice listing of creative ideas. What this all needs is some great paper products to ensure that your ideas make it to fruition.
