Lawn Fawn Video {1.14.21} Chari’s Stenciled Snowflake Card Set

Chari has a special cardmaking technique video for you today! She will show us how to create a colorful set of cards featuring the Snowflake Trio Stencil and a variety of stenciling techniques. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Chari’s rainbow designs are perfect for sending joyful wishes all winter long! The sentiment is found in our Mice on Ice set.

For these cards, Chari started with rainbow strips of cardstock. Then she stenciled the snowflake with opaque paste on the diagonal stripes. The other card uses transparent embossing paste and Prisma Glitter.

For this design, Chari first inked the snowflake with rainbow ink colors. Then she followed that with the transparent embossing gel and Prisma Glitter to create a colorful snowflake with lots of sparkle!

Chari did an old-school emboss resist technique to create this gorgeous card! First she stenciled the snowflake with clear embossing ink, then she sprinkled on white embossing powder. After heating the embossing powder, she let it cool before blending the rainbow colors!

This card features a fun no-heat foil technique! Chari used a special DecoFoil transfer gel to stencil the snowflake. Once it dried completely, Chari was able to add the foil using the pressure of her die cut machine! For this design, she used some Holographic cardstock to mat the foiled panel.

Thank you so much, Chari! Your card set is amazing and I’m so inspired by all the different techniques you used!

  1. I simple adore the rainbow theme in these cards. I live how they don’t scream Christmas but could work for a quick Christmas card or a stunning winter card. Super cute Chari. 🌈

  2. They are all gorgeous but I do love the foil one best I think Chari.
