Lawn Fawn Video {11.12.22} A Fun Winter Scene with Mona

This winter scene is so much fun! Mona combined Snowball Fight with Car Critters for the images. Then she created the snowy scene with Stitched Mountain Borders. I love her idea to cut the mountains from vellum to let the inked background show through!

Mona stamped the images with alcohol marker-friendly River Rock and Jellyfish ink before adding her amazing coloring. Then using the Misti, she stamped the car and snowballs again with Grape Jelly ink. I love how that looks!

Mona has a tip for adding popped up images to glitter cardstock. Add a little Glue Tube adhesive to the foam squares for extra hold.

Mayra’s Merry Beachy Christmas Card

Join us on Monday for another Fawny Holiday Week! We will share festive inspiration from all of our talented designers. Each day we will have a special video and of course, daily giveaways!

Mayra is with us today to share another of her brilliant scene cards! This time Santa and the missus are on a sandy beach with a couple of the elves!

This cast of characters are found in Beachy Christmas, Ho-Ho-Holidays and Holiday Helpers. Mayra used a combination of blue and red for her coloring. Then she built the beach scene with Stitched Wave Borders, Stitched Hillside Borders and Tropical Leaves Backdrop.

To finish this cheery scene, Mayra created a Snowy Backdrop sky. And then she framed it with a Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Window in bright red!

Lawn Fawn Video {11.10.22} A Special Holiday Reveal Wheel Card with Marine

Marine created a unique design in monochromatic grayscale colors, then she added a pop of red! She used images from Winter Village and Happy Village. The large Christmas tree from Yeti or Not adds sparkle to the center of the town!

Marine created a dramatic backdrop using hot foil to add the silvery snowflakes to the black “sky”. Then she assembled the Reveal Wheel, adding Santa’s sleigh from Winter Skies to the acetate wheel.

As you spin the wheel, Santa goes on his midnight flight! How fun is that?
