Lawn Fawn Intro: Foiled Sentiments: Merry Christmas and Foiled Sentiments: Let it Snow


Hello and welcome to September Inspiration Week! Our Fall & Winter 2023 Release is available now at your favorite store and www.lawnfawn.com! Woohoo! Introducing!

Today is our showcase of Foiled Sentiments: Merry Christmas and Foiled Sentiments: Let it Snow! Add a festive and shiny sentiment to your holiday and winter cards and crafts with these two new hot foil plates. You can use these plates with most hot foil machines to leave a shiny impression without cut lines on your cards. The sentiments are great on their own but they are also sized to work perfectly with a 3 inch circle die!

Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! So,remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details! And leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love! We also have a video at the end to share lots of fun ways to use these new sets!


It looks like there may be a chance of Snow Flurries so Elise‘s foiled message is Let it Snow! Her card design is so beautiful and simple enough for making multiples. She layered Snow Flurries Backdrop in Peacock and Fog on a panel foiled with the new Foiled Sentiment: Let is Snow! Then she added a few crystal sequins and die cut sparkles to finish the design!


Mindy‘s design is so gorgeous! She foiled the Merry Christmas sentiment in bright gold before cutting it with a 3″ Stitched Circle Stackable. Then she popped it up on a beautifully stenciled background of Winter Sprigs! And then she added a border with Stitched Rectangle Frames.


Grace‘s slimline card is so imaginative! She created a Build-A-Cabin all decked out for the holidays with Mini String of Lights and a wreath on the door. Then she upped the creativity with a Foiled Sentiments: Let it Snow greeting as smoke from the chimney! That is just so clever!


I just love how shiny that foiled greeting is and how it adds so much festive fun!


Latisha‘s lovely card layers shine upon shine! First, she foiled the Merry Christmas greeting in green foil on a metallic gold panel. Then she cut it out with a Cross-Stitched Circle, which she layered on a large vellum circle. And then she added this to a Favorite Flannel panel with a strip of Christmas Tree Lot Washi tape. So much shine!


There’s just something about white ink on kraft cardstock, it always looks so special! In addition to the foiled Let it Snow, Audrey stamped some Frosties snowflakes in Yeti ink. Then she lightly inked the edges of the Stitched Rectangle panel. A sweet little vignette of Ready Set Snow snowmen and trees and sprinkle of snowflakes finish her beautiful design!


I love Yainea‘s collage inspired card so much! She began with a Spiffier Speckles Stitched Circle Tag, then she hot foiled the pretty Merry Christmas sentiment. She also hot foiled the Starry Sky Background onto more Spiffier Speckles paper for the background.


And then she assembled the foiled tag with gold metallic trees from Build-A-Snow Globe, an Everyday Sentiment Banner and finally a strip of Frosty Friends Washi tape! So creative and fun!


Stitched Snowflakes and Snowflake Background Stencils are the keys to Caly‘s gorgeous winter design! She added a beautifully ink blended base then layered the Foiled Sentiments: Let is Snow on top!


I love Elena‘s design so much! From the white-stenciled Winter Sprigs on brown cardstock to the Merry Christmas hot foiled on a vellum circle, it is just so beautiful! She also included pretty pinecones and pine sprigs from Build-A-Birdhouse Christmas Add-On as the perfect finishing touch!


The foiled Let it Snow sentiment looks so pretty framed by the Winter Wonderland Window! This design is so fun and easy to craft with just some pretty cardstock!

This set of winter critter borders and speech bubbles make it easy to send quick and cute holiday cards! Use the included sentiments to put words of celebration in the critters’ mouths. The arctic critters have gathered on Elena‘s card with punny Simply Celebrate Winter Critters Add-On messages for the holidays! Her hot-foiled Starry Sky Background is so beautiful and elevates this simple design!


I love how Tammy combined the border of oh so cute mice with a fun Snowball Fight scene! The Brick stenciled wall decorated with Christmas Garland adds so much festive fun!


Marine‘s Here We Go a-Waddling penguins are so perfect with the cute border of penguins! Her snowy scene is right out of a Hallmark Christmas movie with the requisite carolers at the holiday festival! She used the music stand, tambourine, triangle and baton from Critter Concert to finish out her musical theme! Also making an appearance are penguins from Penguin Party and Snow Cool!


Yainea used the Simply Celebrate Winter Critters sets to make fun holiday tags! She combined Spiffier Speckles with Favorite Flannel and Red Sprinkle ‘n Shine papers for the tags, then she used Harold’s ABCs and handwritten names to personalize the tags. So perfect for spiffing up gift packages!


Audrey‘s design is so simply beautiful! The sweet lavender colors look great with the arctic critter border from Simply Celebrate Winter Critters. And they are so much cuteness to the Giant Outlined Oh What Fun greeting!


Megan‘s Christmas card has so much charm! From the red and white striped paper to the cute Christmas Before ‘n Afters images and Build-A-Snow Globe, it just makes me smile! And the adorable row of mice is the perfect addition!


Adding the border of penguins to a Winter Wonderland Window shaker is a great idea! Grace filled the window with a Penguin Party scene, then she let the Simply Celebrate Winter Critters do all the talking!


Latisha created a beautiful card with another simple design. She popped up the sweet mice and speech bubble border on Favorite Flannel Mulled Cider paper before adding a simple frame of gold glitter cardstock.


Caly‘s Ta-Da! Diorama! features the fun border of reindeer in a super cute Christmas scene!


For this snowy Christmas scene, Caly snipped the reindeer border in two parts, then teamed them up with Santa and his sleigh from Ho-Ho-Holidays!

Introducing!

Today is our showcase of Build-A-Snow Globe! Shake up your holiday cards with this fun set of dies! This set includes everything you need to create a cute snow globe shaker with the included shaker elements and lots of decorating options. This adorable set can also be used to create a flat snow globe scene easy for mailing!

Design Team Inspiration

Lynnette filled her Build-A-Snow Globe with Snow One Like You and trees from Simply Celebrate Winter. Then she added lovely Christmas details with Christmas Garland, Knit Picky Winter paper and a greeting from Winter Big Scripty Words!


Marine‘s gorgeous card shows us that Fall is a perfect time for Build-A-Snow Globe! With fun images from Jump for Joy, Happy Harvest and Winter Birds her design sends a happy Fall greeting!


Elise‘s snow globe is so lovely in shades of pink! I love that she added gold metallic die cut “sequins” to match the hot foiled Winter Big Scripty Words greeting!


Audrey‘s gorgeous design shows us that snow globes are also awesome for Halloween! I love the touches of pink and gold with the traditional black and orange colors. And that polka dot Stitched Pumpkin is so cute! Audrey first die cut a white panel with Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop, then she cut out the pumpkin. Next, she backed it with another pumpkin in black. Now I want all my pumpkins to be polka dot pumpkins, it’s so clever and sweet!


Tammy‘s shaker tags are so beautiful! She used the trees and snowflakes from the Build-A-Snow Globe set for her mini scene. Then she attached the perennial favorite snowman from Making Frosty Friends with a perfect Winter Wavy Sayings sentiment!


Megan created a Halloween card that is so cute and cheerful! It’s all about the happy colors of the snow globe scene made using Spooky Village! Then she added more cuteness with ghosts from Booyah and Simply Celebrate Fall!


Elena‘s design is so charming! I love the tone-on-tone background of Merry Mistletoe and Holly Leaves! Her snow globe scene features images from Ready Set Snow, Oh Gnome and Winter Birds! And the sweet little Snow Much Fun bear is so cute looking into the snow globe!


Latisha‘s holiday design has so much glittery goodness from our Red and Silver Sparkle cardstock packs. She trimmed the Build-A-Snow Globe, added sparkly stripes, then die cut sequins, circles and snowflakes too!


Ready Set Snow is a fun complement to the new Build-A-Snow Globe die set and Caly‘s delightful tag shows that off so well! I love how she filled the shaker with Chunky Glitter, it looks so frosty!


Grace thought way outside the box to come up with tags that are so imaginative and fun! She flipped the snow globe upside down to use the base as a crown and the globe for the faces!


Did you guess what she used for the hair, mustache and beard? They look suspiciously like our new Stitched Gourds! Then she added the tree trunk pieces from Build-A-Snow Globe to decorate the crowns. So much creativity!


Rebecca’s snow globe features our new Christmas Before ‘n Afters smooching mice! The background is stenciled with new Winter Sprigs Stencils and the greenery and berries are found in Holly Leaves Border!
