Froyo Friend inspiration

Tammy‘s card is super sweet with two little Froyo Friends. The Rainbow Ever After papers are the perfect complement to these fruity treats. I love how she added fruits from the Build-A-Drink collection to each one and used different colors to represent the flavors.

I love how Yainea alternated the colors of the froyo to look like a swirly treat. The layered Fruit Salad papers make a great background for this sweet treat and her use of the Scripty Sayings Simmer Washi tape for the sentiment. The Red Hemp twine is the perfect finishing touch!

Grace‘s tags are so much fun! She got a unique look using Holographic paper for the froyo cups and sparkles in the background.

The Stitched Scalloped Circle Frames and the Stitched Sentiment Banners are the perfect frame for these treats and the Rainbow Ever After stripe paper is a great background.

Megan created something for all the furry friends! Her pup cup version of Froyo Friend features pups from Furry and Bright and Joy to All. I love the addition of the dogs from Simply Celebrate Critters along the top ready to dive into this yummy treat! Pint-sized Patterns Summertime papers add pops of color and fun patterns to this cute card.

Elena‘s card is fruity and bright! I love her use of the Radiant Heart Backdrop cut from Rainbow Ever After paper. She added sweet fruits from Zesty Lemon, Strawberry Patch, and I Scream, You Scream to compliment her treat!

Mindy made a super fun shaker card with two flavors of Froyo Friends! I love how she shaded the swirls to add dimension to these sweet treats. The Fancy Wavy Banner is a fun addition to the sentiment from Simply Summer Sentiments.

Another fun idea is coloring the Froyo Friend with markers to get different flavors all in one treat! The Scalloped Arches border is a fun grounding element and goes so well with the Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle makes a great border around the card.

Mr. Sun inspiration

Elise‘s card is bright and beautiful! I love her big bold sentiment using Henry’s ABCs and Better Days. Her background using Stripes and Sprinkles paper and the Sunburst Backdrop is perfect for Mr. Sun!

Mindy made a fun paper strip rainbow on her card. She used the Puffy Cloud Borders along the bottom and a fun sentiment from All The Clouds stamp set.

Latisha created a bright and colorful rainbow cloud background using the Cloudy Stencil. Her sentiment uses the inside portion of the sunshine letters from Giant Hello Sunshine for a delicate sentiment along the bottom.

Marine‘s card is so much fun! She created a super cute little summer scene using the Hammock and Trees die set. I love that Mr. Sun is hanging out in the hammock! Her rainbow Sunray Background is so pretty and bright! The addition of the sentiment from Pool Party on a vellum Wavy Sentiment Banner is perfect, I love that the bright colors show through this sentiment banner.

Audrey‘s card glows just like the sun! She used the solid piece from the Diagonal Stripes border and a variety of warm-colored papers to create a fun background for Mr. Sun! Henry’s Build-a-Sentiment: Spring lends the perfect saying to this happy card and I love the addition of the fun wiggle eyes!

Chari shared how Mr. Sun fits perfectly in the Ta-Da! Diorama! Sunburst Window Add-on. She created a fun beach scene using images from On The Beach and Pool Party. Pint-sized Patterns Summertime paper goes great with this beach scene card!

Melissa created a bright background using the Sunray Stencil to compliment her bright Mr. Sun! I love her addition of the clouds in both white and vellum using the Platform Pop-up Cloud Inserts and All The Clouds lawn cuts.

Chari‘s card features the Giant Outlined Gracias sentiment and lots of sparkle! I love how she added Autumn Gold and Black sparkle paper to her die-cut images. She also customized the color of her sentiment by ink blending the solid piece layered behind the outline. The Quilted Star Backdrop is a fun background and the Simple Puffy Cloud Frames are a great addition to this bright and colorful card.

  1. Santa clause and a reindeer would be so cute and so handy for bulk making Christmas cards, he would pair well with offset Christmas sentiments as well. ❤️😍

  2. I would love a big present with a big bow and curly ribbon (in the “froyo” style). Think that would work great for both birthdays and Christmas.

  3. I would love to see a birthday cake paper piecing die, with candles and maybe some decor options. This would be such a fun add-on for all the birthday cards I make.

  4. A Christmas tree paper piecing die would be so cool (if you don’t already have one?) Actually anything Christmas would be great!

  5. I would love a cat. Especially if it could be any color or type of cat. Like a tiger striped one, an all black cat, etc.

  6. This is great set. I love the sun. It would not inky make great birthday cards but GWT well cards and thank you cards. I could also use it in scrapbooking summer pages.
The cupcake it awesome. It could be used as birthday cards and pages.
    Thanknyou

  7. I would love something Halloween, like a bat or spooky house, black cat or something. A birthday cake or Santa would be cute, too!

  8. I love the wreath idea from Karen Stevens! You could totally change it up for the seasons. Use like the little Halloween sets to put critters on it! Oh my! Love that idea.

  9. Maybe something to pair with the fruit or the newer veggie sets? Like a citrus fruit slice, and you could have all the segments be different shades or patterned papers.

  10. These sets look so fun and the design team knocked it out of the park as usual. As mentioned about a Birthday Cake set would be nice!

  11. Froyo friend is just darling, so many fun designs with the new sets. Maybe a quilt styled background panel.

  12. I love year 7 piñata 🪅 would love to see that or a giant cake as a paper piecing set.
Hot air balloon would be cute too

  13. I love paper piecing! Lots of flowers lend themselves to this. Christmas trees, Vehicles, Houses to change for the seasons, …

  14. So many fun things have been mentioned! Really like the wreath and quilt ideas. Would also like to see more fall items – leaves, trees, Halloween things.

  15. A paper piecing birthday cake with different decorations so the cake can have different looks and for different holidays.

  16. Scarecrow, fall trees, fox for paper piecing.

Also mice stamp set ideas, mice playing marbles. Mice with jingle bells.

  17. Gosh – kinda liking this bigger elements!
My idea for a paper-piecing die set – music elements!!! Big ones like the ones in this post.

  18. Such fun cards with these dies!
I’d like something for Halloween….. jack o’ lanterns or a scary cat!

  19. Love the Froyo. My paper piecing idea would be a cellphone with apps to interchange on the phone.

  20. I would love to see more of your bugs and critters supersized into paper piecing dies. Fox and snail need some friends… how cute would it be to have one of your cute mice in large form holding Froyo Friend?

  21. Oh, the possibilities of paper piecing kits. A snowman with scarf, hat & mittens. A cake with candles. A Christmas tree. Flowers like daisy, sunflower, etc.

  22. I love Megan’s card, I thought of my dog when we go for a pup cup… so cute!

I think the paper piecing would be so fun in some packages, mail, gift-wrapped, etc.

  23. I’m good with just about anything. I don’t (as a rule) do much paper piercing as I love to color but always open to new opportunities.

  24. I had a friend whose eye site is challenging and still likes to make cards. She I think was successfully able to do a paper pieced flower. Although I think a lot of the paper piece ones still have pieces that would be a struggle. Wonder if more people in this category who would like some but maybe with less tiny pieces. Or maybe stamps of some existing critters but made more giant as single stamps.

  25. I’d love a sailboat for paper-piecing! Or a wreath w/ a nice bow at the top and berries…
    Lori S in PA

  26. I think a penguin, Santa or even an angel would be cute, I have a couple of your piercing products, they make cute cards.

  27. I think a big pickle would be a fun paper piecing idea and of course, it would need a stamp set to go with it with all the pickle puns. “You’re kind of a big dill” “Sorry you’re in a pickle” etc. to go along with it. Cotton candy would be a fun one, too.

  28. How can you not smile with Mr. Sun shining? So much fun. I’m sure I’ll love whatever cute dies you come up with.

  29. Right now, I can’t think of a single thing but that’s one of the reasons I love LF so much…you all are so creative with your ideas and designs!!!

  30. Anything Halloween or fall. You have so many cute ones it’s a tough decision. I love both these cute guys.

  31. I could see a lot of use for a quilt piecing die, especially as a card background. You could offer critter stamps that are sewing to coordinate with it.

  32. I think cat or dog faces, so that they could be done in different colors, would be fun for paper piercing.

  33. I love all the paper piecing dies. Especially the S’more die. How about a ice cream die with lots of scoops

  34. I like the quilt idea above, but you can have a seasonal quilt with add ons for the holidays … .snowflakes, hearts, shamrocks, etc.

  35. There’s so many good ideas out there by others… I especially like the beach umbrella and beach chair idea.

  36. I’m not sure what I’d like to see pieced together but I’m sure I’ll love whatever you come up with next!

  37. Paper pieced vehicles would be my vote for upcoming months. I’ve seen Santa sleighs and vintage Model Ts. But they always lack the LF charm. Maybe a motorcycle and sidecar? Or a bathtub Porsche? The recent greenhouse was so cute! Maybe a Cinderella castle or a dollhouse next. I love the LF sensibilities!

  38. Love all these examples. Anything birthday related would be great since that is the most frequent type of cards I usually send to people.

  39. Granny square. You could do so many things with the middle! The creativity is endless with paper piercing.

  40. Nice summer cards , with fruits , sun . I like speciallly the cards with the dogs ! There is a lot o possibility with these news items !

  41. The ideas for new paper piecing dies are endless and I’m sure Lawn Fawn already has a long list but here are a few I’d love to see: a penguin, a birthday cake with candles, a bee, or a butterfly just to name a few.

  42. Would love a korean themed paper piecing set – ramyeon or korean food or snacks!

Also would love to see paper piecing of a chocolate bar or pizza!
