First up we have a recap of the recent Adventures in Cardmaking Live with Jenn and Chari! As a result of the polling on Instagram, this time the theme was Fall/Autumn, focus on stamped images and use of twine. We love that so many of you joined the fun live and lots of you have also caught the replay too. If you haven’t watched this fun crafty cardmaking session yet, click HERE! Or go to the Adventures in Cardmaking Live playlist to catch up on all the crafty fun!

Chari’s Autumn themed card featured stamped images from You Crow Girl and Happy Harvest. She did some fun background stamping in Apricot ink to create a subtle tone on tone to match the kraft card base. I love that she built the little scene on a Falling Leaves stitched heart framed with a Lacy Heart!

Chari tucked her Scripty Autumn Sentiments greeting in a pretty border of sunflowers. Then she used the Turquoise Hemp Twine in a clever way, adding a bow to the “crow girl’s” dress.

Jenn also used background stamping to enhance the Autumn theme! She used Distress Watercolor Pencils to color the You Autumn Know and Scripty Autumn Sentiments leaves stamped with Crunchy Leaf ink. There are splatters to create texture and a watercolor “ground” as well.

Jenn colored images from Big Acorn, Happy Harvest (wagon) and the cute mice from You Autumn Know. I love how she used Orange Hemp Twine to “tie down” the acorns in the wagon, so clever! Then to finish her card she added a greeting from Celebration Scripty Sentiments.

Here’s Jenn handy Copic coloring chart for the acorns, mice and wagon!

And now Chari and Jenn share some perfect for Halloween Sweet Spiders cards! Chari made her card interactive with Swivel Surprise and another clever element on the inside! You can watch as she creates her card below or click HERE to watch the video tutorial at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

This background is so cool! Chari stenciled with the Spiderweb Background Stencils using Lawn Fawn inks in Apricot, Peachy Keen and Guava. Then she stamped the Sweet Spiders images in River Rock ink to color in a soft pastel color palette.

Chari used Embroidery Hoop Snowflake Add-On to create a stitched spiderweb for the cute spider and candy! She added the scalloped frame from Embroidery Hoop Window and Frame Add-On and then included it in the Swivel Surprise. It’s a perfect fit!

Jenn also did some inking and stenciling for her sweet Halloween card using Nighttime Sky Stencil. Then she combined Sweet Spiders with Fangtastic Friends to complete this totally adorable design!

Ivy’s Shaped Coffee Cup Cards and a Fun Shadow Box Scene!

September Inspiration is coming soon! Be sure to join us for another Big Giveaway on Wednesday, September 18 as we continue to shine the spotlight on our Fall & Winter 2024 Release! All the design team inspiration, intro videos and daily giveaways start on Thursday, September 19th! See you then!

Our sweet Fawnie, Ivy is back with more whimsical inspiration for you! She created a trio of shaped coffee cup cards and a clever shadow box scene in a Gift Box!

Fall and sunflowers is the theme of this set of shaped Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder cards! To see how to make a top-folding coffee cup shaped card check out Joy’s recent video tutorial HERE.

Ivy combined Falling Leaves petite papers, Sunflower Border and Magic Messages to create three unique shaped cards!

This super cute and clever scene is a shadow box created using the Gift Box die set and white woodgrain cardstock! Ivy assembled the box with the corner tabs on the outside, so they don’t show on the inside of the box frame. She cut a window and layered a cloudy stenciled panel behind before creating the windowpane simply by adding strips of 1/8″ double-sided tape.

Then the fun starts! Ivy colored the Little Woodland Library images using the coordinating Coloring Stencils. She used Copic markers to color the images from Crazy Antics (rug), Just Add Glitter (table and chairs), Sometimes Lift is Prickly (cactus) and beverages from Treat Cart Add-On: Coffee. Ivy arranged all the images in a cute library scene including Book Club Washi tape to add shelves of books!

Thank you so much, Ivy! Your creative projects are so fun and inspiring!

Jessica is back with another great design! She combined ink blending, Sweet Spiders and Giant Trick or Treat to create a cute and spooky Halloween card. You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Jessica blended together Distress ink in Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet, Villainous Potion and Black Soot to create an awesome, spooky backdrop! She added splattered water and metallic silver to create lots of texture. Then she stamped the spiderweb from Sweet Spiders with black pigment ink three times before covering it with clear holographic embossing powder.

To finish her card, Jessica stamped and colored lots of cute Sweet Spiders and Sweet Spiders Add-On images. Then she attached all the images around Giant Trick or Treat that is cut from glittery Black Sparkle cardstock.

This card is so cool! Thank you for inspiring us today, Jessica!
