Fawny Holiday Video

Mindy starts the holiday inspiration with an adorable card featuring Build-A-Christmas Tree and a cozy cat made with Build-A-Fox! You can watch her video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching Mindy’s inspiring holiday tutorial!

Mindy used alcohol markers to color the Build-A-Christmas Tree, and the cute cat made with Build-A-Fox. She dressed the striped cat with Build-A-Critter Winter Accessories and Favorite Flannel paper.

And she created a gorgeous Snowflake Background Stencils covered vellum window framed with Woodgrain cardstock. She added festive fun with red metallic, gold metallic and gold sparkle cardstock. And she finished this cute card with a sentiment from All the Santa Hats.

More Design Team Inspiration

Christy created a paper mug party favor with All the Sparkles paper and filled it with holiday candy. She will share a video on her YouTube channel to show how to make this cute paper mug design.

Christy decorated this cute party favor with one of the Sweet Christmas Mice on a Tiny Tag. She tied up the package and tag with festive Mistletoe Cord.

Audrey created a cheery collage with Sweet Christmas Mice and A Creature Was Stirring arranged around Giant Be Merry. She used Quilted Diamond Backdrop for the background with a border made with Stitched Rectangle Frames and Candy Cane Lane paper.

Jenn used a favorite technique to make a beautiful and simple card. She used Distress Watercolor Pencils to create a cool watercolor backdrop. Then she added the Cozy Cat and a sentiment from Scribbled Sentiments: Winter.

Mayra‘s sweet Ta-Da! Diorama is all dressed up for the holidays! She created an adorable bakery with the Ta-Da Diorama Shop Add-On. She stenciled the walls with Brick Stencil and added the Cobblestone sidewalk. I love the pretty green striped awning and the woodgrain Stitched Label with a Joy to All sentiment.

She used lots of cute images using Berry Special, Caroling Mice, and Car Critters Christmas Add-On. And there are fun details from Rooftop Border and Scalloped Treat Box Winter House Add-On.

I love all the sweets and critters from Sweet Christmas Mice and A Creature Was Stirring in this charming scene.

  1. Oh my goodness, I love all of these designs!! I might have to borrow and tweak them all <3
I love watching a Christmas film while wrapping presents, with a mince pie and a glass of cold Baileys on the side 🙂

  2. I am old school. I still like making cards and displaying all of the received cards on a string of lights with handmade clothespins.

  3. Going out to the Christmas tree farm with my husband and picking out just the right tree to cut down!! Decorating the house and baking all the special Christmas cookies!! These cards and cup inspire me to get the cards going.

  4. I love getting the family together and decorating the Christmas tree. It will be going up right after Remembrance Day this year.

  5. My holiday activities mostly include making cards and watching holiday shows and movies. I used to make and decorate cookies which I enjoyed.

  6. Beautiful cards and projects today! It’s fun to decorate the Christmas tree and get my Christmas cards ready to mail.

  7. I love looking at holiday lights and displays. (Do I enjoy putting up my own lights? No- that involves ladders and such. But looking at other people’s beautifully decorated houses makes me happy!)

  8. One holiday tradition that I enjoy is going to a small town nearby to look at their holiday light displays and decorations. It’s beautiful.

  9. Adorable projects!! We love staying in and watching holiday movies while staying warm and cozy under our winter throw blankets!!

  10. I love decorating the tree. Each ornament has a sentimental value – a vacation, a child’s art, a gift from someone special, etc. It brings back so many happy memories. It does make taking down the tree a little more cheerful, as we visit each ornament again.

  11. Love the idea of using the fox as a cat. I will be trying the white card sock for the backing of my fox instead of black so I can make the ears pink and the eyes golden.

  12. Love today’s inspiration!
I enjoy sitting in the dark with just the Christmas tree lights on. Very peaceful!
I also enjoy Christmas movies and attending local holiday events, such as the town tree lighting and a live Nativity.

  13. So many fun ideas! Love all the wonderful projects!
For the holidays, I love to do my annual baking of Christmas cookies! I make 3 or 4 kinds, package them up and share with friends and neighbors!

  14. My favorite holiday activity is our special Christmas Eve fondue, candlelight dinner! We usually make a cheese fondue to dip all the yummy seafood bits and baguette pieces into! After dinner we bundle up and go on a Christmas light display tour in town!

  15. Beautiful work by the design team!!! Listening to Christmas music and setting up a train under the tree are some favorite traditions with the kids!

  16. We have a family tradition of making cinnamon rolls from scratch and sharing with loved ones. Been doing it for 25 years.

  17. We wait until the day after Thanksgiving to put up our tree and decorate. We wear matching pajamas and record the activity. This is when I take my annual portrait of my boys.

  18. I commented on Facebook that I love Mindy’s card that she made with Build a Christmas tree and Build a fox that she turned into a cat.

  19. I have so many Christmas activities that I love doing that it’s hard to pick just one as my favorite. But if pressed, I’d have to say that baking cookies to hand out to my neighbors on Christmas morning probably takes the top spot.

  20. I love baking and caroling! I also love wrapping gifts.
All that you shared above is phenomenal! Mindy, thanks for the terrific video!!!

  21. I will always help post and like and comment to help my favorite stamp company in any ways I can ✌🏽🫶🏼✌🏽

  22. Making my sweet, spiced nuts to deliver to family and friends while admiring all the Christmas lights is just one of my favorite things to do!

  23. I have been wanting to try to make a cat from the Build a Fox set, so thank you for this example. There isn’t much about Christmas I don’t love. Paying the bills is about the only thing I don’t enjoy.

  24. A holiday activity I enjoy: Cooking Thanksgiving dinner! Back when my husband and I lived close to our family and friends, we used to cook twice — once for family, once for friends. Those were fun times!

  25. A holiday activity I enjoy: Cooking Thanksgiving dinner! Back when my husband and I lived close to our family and friends, we used to cook twice — once for family, once for friends. Those were fun times.

  26. Every year I make at least 1 ornament for our tree. It’s so fun to look back at all the past years ornaments while decorating the tree.

  27. Oh, November leading up to Advent in December is the best of times! Getting darker and darker outside every day, preparing Christmas cards, making Swedish “glögg” to drink more or less every December-evening, oh, I love November! Someone called it Novent 😊 Great name…

  28. My married daughter and I each Christmas spend a day baking. In the past we have done cookies, but more recently we have made cake pops. Every year it is my favorite day to spend time with her. We talk so much that our mouths are sore the next day. We also turn on a Christmas movie on the kitchen TV, and/or have Christmas music playing. It’s so festive and special to me. Thank you for allowing me to recall this wonderful memory!

  29. My kids and grandkids take a night to go to a drive thru Christmas light display, it’s huge!! So fun to hear the kids talk excitingly about the lights and Christmas. After, we meet at my son’s for soups and a hot chocolate bar. This is one of several holiday activities we do as a family. I love it!!💚❤️

  30. I love making cookies with my husband. We then watch Christmas movies
while enjoying what we created with a cup of Hot Chocolate!

  31. The Build-A-Fox set is SO CUTE! I’m in love! <3

My favorite holiday memory: The last Thanksgiving when my entire family was together (before beloved family members moved away and passed away.) Things will never be the same, but at least we have our photos and memories of the occasion.

  32. I love “being cozy”. Snuggling together by the tree, doing a holiday jigsaw puzzle, chilling out with the dogs, that kind of thing that makes the holidays feel special.

  33. We take a ride through Jekyll Island to see all their magnificent lighted displays in the Resort and along the beach and then through neighbor hoods to see all their Christmas lights

  34. I love the tree decorating – visiting the tree farm, getting the lights and decorations on, and having fun looking at all the ornaments we’ve collected over the years, especially all the ones our kids have made.

  35. i like discover all presents at the bottom of the christmas tree in the morning and in the afternoon playing monoply
