Mona’s Beautiful Card Inspiration Featuring A Mole Lot of Love

The darling critters of A Mole Lot of Love star in Mona‘s adorable, punny card! She put the cute moles in a layered Stitched Hillside Borders scene, then she created a beautiful background with Quilted Heart Border.

To create this beautiful background, Mona started with Gleeful Gradients petite paper. She used this pretty ombré paper instead of an ink blended background. Then she added a panel with seven rows of Quilted Heart Border layered on a white panel. Next, she crafted the perfect environment for the cute critters using Stitched Hillside Borders inked with Vintage Photo Oxide ink. The pretty pink sky is another panel of Gleeful Gradients paper.

Mona gives her images so much character with her signature style of coloring! She used Ohuhu markers to color A Mole Lot of Love and an additional little worm from A Bug Deal.

This is such a sweet design, Mona! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely inspiration!

Thank you so much for watching!

Chari’s Heart Cake card is the quintessential style for Valentine’s Day but change the sentiment and it is perfect to celebrate a wedding or anniversary! And her “dirt cake” is just the cutest featuring our adorable A Mole Lot of Love critters! Use it to send love for any occasion!

Chari filled this cake with lots of hearts in lots of sizes! She combined Hearts Lawn Cuts with Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag and Textured Canvas Pink cardstock. She also added the glittery gold arrow from Build-A-Critter Valentine Accessories. For the background she used Checkered Hearts Backdrop: Portrait, then she stamped a Valentine sentiment from Critter Conversation Hearts on an Everyday Sentiment Banner.

This “dirt cake” is such a brilliant idea! It’s the perfect way to include the critters of A Mole Lot of Love and A Mole Lot of Love Add-On. She chose not to use a cake plate, instead nestling the cake in the Grassy Border! Stitched Cloud Backdrop: Portrait adds some fun texture in the background!

Thank you for this super cute and clever inspiration, Chari! I love these “cakes” so much!
