Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas with Jessica’s Cozy Cats Card

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Jessica Frost-Ballas joins us to send the sweetest Christmas greeting with our Cozy Cats!

Jessica created a fun indoor/outdoor scene with Window Frame! Inside, the Cozy Cats are napping while their friend is very cozy in a warm scarf outside! Adding to this adorable scene are Spooky Forest Backdrop and Christmas lights from String of Lights Backdrop. And I love how there’s just a hint of brick texture on the “house” with Brick Stencil.

I love how Jessica added a shiny glaze to the light bulbs, it looks amazing! Then she added the Merry Messages greeting, hanging it in the tree branches. And of course, the final touch is a bit of Chunky Glitter!

Thank you so much for this beautiful Christmas card inspiration, Jessica!

Mona created a cute badge with Critter Conversation Hearts to add to clothes pins. Add a magnet to the back to hold notes on your fridge or use them to clip on gift bags. The little critter badges would also be adorable decorating a Valentine card!

This simple design features all the little Critter Conversation Hearts with Mona’s amazing Copic coloring! I love how she added the glittery wings from Build-A-Critter Valentine Accessories. Such a fun combination!

The Kraft Sparkle cardstock is so perfect for the angel wings, layered with white cardstock. Make a bunch of these little cuties, they are a sweet idea for Valentine’s Day!

Thank you so much for sharing this clever little crafty idea, Mona! So sweet!

Chari has more creative Build-A-Cake inspiration for you! She designed a trio of “cakes” to celebrate the new year with lots of sparkle and shine! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Celebration Cake

With a banner to celebrate the new year, this cake is full of lots of shiny gold accents! Chari combined gold metallic and glittery gold sparkle cardstock with All the Sparkles Diamond gold foiled patterned paper to create a gorgeous “cake” design! She stenciled Sunray Background in bright yellow gold shades, then splatter more shiny goodness to create a background on a Lacy Rectangle.

Top Hat Cake

To create this clever “top hat” cake, Chari layered two of the smaller cake layers with the cake plate! The glittery Black Sparkle cardstock makes it so special! She added Puffy Stars and layered more stars from Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag. The background is a panel of Midday Skies Gleeful Gradients paper with Stitched Ripple Backdrop layered on Shooting Star paper from Watercolor Wishes. And then she finished this design with a greeting from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Birthday.

Champagne Cake

This elegant champagne cake has a gorgeous painted design with lots of sparkle, shine and glitter! Chari painted it with Gansai Tambi Starry Colors metallic paint, then she brushed on more sparkle with Platinum and Champagne Stickles.

Next, she added lots of fun bubbles using Bubble Border in metallic, glitter and pearlescent cardstock and vellum. She kept the champagne theme going with flutes from Happy Wedding, then she finished with a Scripty Cheers greeting.

I just love these clever and creative New Year Build-A-Cake cards, Chari! Thank you so much for sharing with us!
