Grace’s Pickle-themed Valentine Treats

Grace created a darling collection of Valentine treats with the pickles of How You Bean Pickle Add-On! I love the pretty pink and green color combo tied together with pink-striped Thumbelina paper from Rainbow Ever After! And she used the hearts from Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag so there’s Lots of Heart!

Potato Chips Topper/Card

She crafted a cute card to tie onto a bag of dill pickle chips, such a fun idea! The card is heart-shaped using Outside In Stitched Hearts Stackables, cut to leave the fold intact. Then she layered on a white Lacy Heart with another Outside In Stitched Heart in the Thumbelina paper.

She stamped and colored the jar from How You Bean with the pickles from the add-on set, using bright yellow green! Then she added the bow and tag from Build-A-Drink Mason Jar Add-On with a saying from Special Delivery. Finally, she stamped the punny greeting on a Stitched Sentiment Banner in Lobster and Jalapeño Lawn Fawn ink.

Heart Pouch Treat Holder

For this delightful little treat, Grace used Heart Pouch, cutting a heart window so the Mike and Ike Sour Watermelon candies show through. Using Peppermint Cord, she tied the pouch closed. Then she embellished with a cute pair of pickles, before adding the sentiment as on the card above.

Matchbook Style Candy Holder

For this style, Grace used the How You Bean mason jar again. She combined the Shaker Add-On and the coordinating How You Bean die to create the window. The candy is in a zip close bag (jewelry sized), attached with double sided tape.

Grace used the Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Landscape to the make the “matchbook” leaving a pretty topper for the sentiments. Then she used the same tag and bow from the first card and tied Peppermint cord at the top.

Grace will have instructions on her Instagram feed for making this matchbook treat holder. Click!

Gorgeous Valentine cards!

Mona‘s whimsical design combines wings from Build-A-Critter Valentine Accessories with Let’s Toast! She added faces on the toast from Christmas Fishes. Then she paired A Mole Lot of Love heart bubbles with sayings from Critter Conversation Hearts.

In the background, cut a panel of Gleeful Gradients petite paper with Snowy Backdrop to layer over Kraft Sparkle cardstock. So much glittery goodness! Then she added a border with a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame in Raspberry cardstock, finishing with a Fancy Wavy Banner for the sentiment.

I love how Megan embellished her Giant Outlined Love with elements from Build-A-Critter Valentine Accessories. She layered them on a vellum Postage Rectangle, then she used another Postage Rectangle in the background. She added lots of fun colorful cardstock along with Candy Cane Lane striped paper and gold foiled Let it Shine Red Sprinkle ‘n Shine paper.

Jenn‘s grid design is so clever and colorful featuring A Mole Lot of Love and A Mole Lot of Love Add-On! She used Distress Watercolor Pencils to create a colorful wash of rainbow color on Distress Watercolor Cardstock.

Jenn carried the rainbow colors into the inside of the card! I love the colorful sprinkles! She stamped a message from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring and a heart from Stinkin’ Cute.

Jenn also shares the Copic colors she used to coordinate with her rainbow background!

Mimi’s Mini Candy Box with Critter Conversation Hearts!

Mimi‘s mini candy box treats are so clever! She cut the Candy Box 10 times from Yeti patterned paper. She stenciled the Outline Hearts on each one then cut them in half. Next, she used the heart from Little Letter to cut a heart in the box, aligning it to fit the Critter Conversation Hearts. She added acetate in the window and assembled the Candy Box halves.

Then she stamped, colored with coordinating Coloring Stencils and die cut the Critter Conversation Hearts before using the same Little Letter heart to cut a window. She reserved the heart cut out, to stamp the punny sentiments before adding them to the Paper Clips and positioned the critters on the boxes.

Mimi closed up the bottom using Tiny Gift Box trimmed to fit the Candy Box. Then she filled the box with candies and closed the top with Red Hemp Twine.

Here’s a helpful diagram to show how Mimi constructed her clever Candy Box favors!

Today we have a great video tutorial by Samantha to start the Lots of Heart inspiration! The Valentine Mice are sending lots of love your way with a clever Flippy Flappy interactive design! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching, I hope you are inspired!

Samantha‘s interactive card is so much fun with lots of cute mice! She started by stamping and coloring mice from Valentine Mice, Love Poems, You Autumn Know and Bubbles of Joy. She also used hearts and sayings from Critter Conversation Hearts and Critter Conversation Hearts Add-On! And then she stenciled the card front using Brick Stencil and pink shades of Distress Oxide ink.

Next, she assembled the Flippy Flappy mechanism, laying out her design so that the joyful mouse pops out in just the right place! She also incorporated the Giant Outlined Love greeting into the adorable design.

The happy little mouse flips out when the flap is pulled! Samantha used acetate to attach the mouse so it looks like he’s jumping for joy! So clever!

Karin featured the Critter Conversation Hearts on this sweet “welcome baby” card! She arranged the cute critters in a grid, adding Cole’s ABCs to spell “baby”. The background is a pretty stripe from All the Sparkles petite paper pad that Karin layered on a Fancy Scalloped Rectangle.

I love how the gold embossed sentiment from Little Bundle coordinates with gold metallic Cole’s ABCs letters.

Latisha also featured a cute image from Critter Conversation Hearts. Her design is so charming with layers of Postage Rectangle Stackables in woodgrain cardstock and What’s Sewing On petite paper. Then she popped up the circle with the cute critter on a scalloped circle from Big Messages: Christmas Lawn Cuts.

Tammy inspires with a pair of Valentine treat pouches! In addition to the Giant XOXO, she featured Build-A-Fox and Build-A-Bunny as cupid with the help of Build-A-Critter Valentine Accessories!

For this treat-filled pouch, Tammy embellished with Lacy Heart Stackables, Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables and one of our new Paper Clips! She added the little stitched heart from Build-A-Critter Valentine Accessories to the paper clip, it’s so clever!

Tammy used the Heart Pouch Lawn Cuts set to create this cute treat holder! Then she filled it with yummy Valentine sweets as the perfect heart-filled gift!

Now let’s get to the inspiration!

It’s always so much fun to fill treat bags with sweet candies for Valentine’s Day. Mayra designed three beautiful Goodie Bags in traditional red, pink and white! For the center treat bag, she stenciled the Goodie Bag with Candy Hearts Stencils before assembling the bag. Then she embellished it with a Lacy Heart and an Outside In Stitched Heart, adding detail with Just Stitching Hearts! I love the sweet, heart-shaped Tiny Tag with a cute Paper Clip and die cut For You from Shutter Card Add-On.

I love how Mayra created a window in this Goodie Bag using Reverse Stitched Scalloped Square Window and vellum. She added Candy Hearts in the window and finished the design with Scripty Hugs, a Paper Clip and a sentiment.

The Scripty Love treat bag features a Candy Hearts Stenciled heart and a Lacy Heart. Mayra added a cute Critter Conversation Hearts image, a Candy Hearts saying on a tiny Lacy Heart Stackable and a Paper Clips heart! So sweet!

Melissa‘s classical design is filled with charming Valentine elements! She started with a Gleeful Gradients background behind the Checkered Hearts Backdrop: Portrait. Then she layered a sparkly Postage Rectangle with a smaller one stamped with sweet tiny sentiments. She included two more sentiments from Magic Heart Messages, one cut using the coordinating heart-shaped die, and the other one with Fancy Wavy Banners.

Cupid is ready to send an arrow to advance the cause of true love! Yainea‘s “be mine” card is just so sweet! She layered the Build-A-Bunny cupid on a Radiant Heart Backdrop with Simple Puffy Clouds and sprinkled hearts from Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag.

Elise‘s card with A Mole Lot of Love is so cute! She arranged the adorable images in scenes on Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. Then she used the new Postage Rectangle Stackables to add a frame to the little scenes. She carried that design to the sentiment and layered them all on a Gleeful Gradients panel. And then she finished the card with a Coral Hemp Twine bow!

Audrey‘s charming card is so pretty in shades of pink! She featured Giant Outlined Love with one of the Critter Conversation Hearts images! In the background she layered Checkered Hearts Backdrop: Portrait in Ballet Slippers over a red layer so the hearts show through. She also used Doily Hearts and more hearts from Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag, so perfect for Lots of Heart Week!
