Today is our showcase of Build-A-Drink Bubble Tea Add-On and Build-A-Drink Margarita Add-On! The Bubble Tea Add-On set is bursting with bubbly fun! Create your own boba tea cup with the included accessories like a domed lid, flat lid, chunky straw, and all the fixings for a tea-rific drink! Shake up more fun by using the frame and solid cup shapes to create an interactive shaker project. Perfect for birthdays, just-because, or to matcha a sweet occasion!

This festive Margarita Add-On set helps you create the coolest margarita (or mocktail!) around! Perfect for summer birthday, pool party, beach bash projects, or to toast a good friend! Shake up more fun by using the frame and solid glass shapes to create an interactive shaker project.

Design Team Inspiration

The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using all these new goodies! Remember to click on the person’s name to see all of the details and then leave these wonderful DT girls some comment love!


Grace‘s Build-A-Drink Bubble Tea Add-On beverages look so yummy! She used vellum to fill the cups with the boba pearls and also for the domed lid. And I love how she added stripes to the straw with Skinny Stripes Stencils. And then she created a subtle bubbly background with Rainbow Ever After Rapunzel paper and Bokeh Circles Hot Foil. That perfect sentiment is from Tea-rrific Day!


Raise a glass to a relaxing day! Megan captured the look of a tasty margarita so well; the lime slices and glittery salted rim are spot on! She added a Gleeful Gradients background and a message from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Birthday on a vellum Simple Wavy Banner.


Yainea created a custom sentiment with Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Love and Henry Jr.’s ABCs. Then she combined Let It Shine Starry Skies petite paper with an Outside In Stitched Heart in Rainbow Ever After Thumbelina for the background. Then she layered on the bubble tea drink with a bit of greenery from Stitched Root Veggies, so clever!


Audrey‘s Build-A-Drink Bubble Tea design could not be more charming! From the colorful Draped Ribbons stenciled in the background, to the googly eyes and Stitched Happy Heart arms her clever design is so happy! I love the confetti and streamers from Let’s Celebrate Backdrop and the fun sentiments from Year Fifteen!


Marine created a fun beachy vibe for her Build-A-Drink Margarita Add-On card! For the background she added Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop to a Paper Bag panel before stenciling with Tropical Leaves Background Stencils. Then she added lots of festive fun with Happy Hibiscus, Fiesta Banner Border and an umbrella from Build-A-Drink! And then she finished the design with Giant Let’s Celebrate and a sentiment from Pool Party!


Elena layered a yummy coffee flavored Build-A-Drink Bubble Tea Add-On on a Sunburst Backdrop before adding her greeting! She paired Reveal Wheel Sentiments with Cole’s ABCs to spell out a punny message!


Elise‘s Bubble Tea Add-On cups are so fun as shakers! I love that she used Gleeful Gradients not only in the background but also for the colorful drink cups! And then, adding Scripty Thanks is such a fun way show appreciation!


It’s time to par-tea! Our special guest designer added fun smiley faces to her Build-A-Drink Bubble Teas! I love the pastel Balloon Bunch and the sentiment from Tea-rrific Day Add-On is so cute!

  2. Out of those two I would have to say bubble tea, but honestly neither. I am a hot/iced chocolate, milkshake/thickshake or chai latte girl!

  7. Neither. Unsweet iced tea is my go-to! I do think the margarita glasses look pretty and festive, especially on the Let’s Celebrate card!

I don’t currently drink either bubble tea or margaritas…but for the purposes of this product release, I would play on team margarita because I very much would LOVE to own the fun margarita die set to make margarita themed cards for all my margarita-drinking friends! Both sets are AWESOME! Love them both.
