Marine has another brilliant project to share with us! She used her own September Inspiration Week String of Lights Backdrop card to inspire two more cards with awesome color palettes! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks for watching, I hope you are inspired!

Marine’s design combines String of Lights Backdrop, Spiderweb Background Stencils with spiders from Cute Cobweb and candy corn from Build-A-Cauldron. For this sweet rainbow color card, she added a gold embossed sentiment from Simply Fall Sentiments. Be sure to check out the supply list below to see all the colors of Distress Oxide ink she used for both cards.

This monochromatic version features shades of gray and a black embossed sentiment on a vellum Simple Wavy Banner.

Marine added special details for even more fun! Nuvo White Blizzard adds glossy glitter to all the light bulbs. And the adorable googly eyes on the spiders add so much charm!

And here’s the original version of this card from the Intro to String of Lights Backdrop blog post!

Thank you so much for this super fun inspiration, Marine! I love all three versions of this amazing card!

Happy Monday, friends! Catherine‘s brilliant Fall themed card features Swivel Surprise and some yummy “cutie pies”!

Fall Leaves Backdrop and Falling Leaves plaid paper frame Catherine’s yummy looking cherry pie! She created the pie crusts with Scalloped Circle Stackables. I love the lattice and leaf design! The cute mice from You Autumn Know and Really High Five are pretty happy about it too!

She used the sentiment from Cutie Pie, embossing it in gold on a strip of vellum for the fun greeting! Then she layered everything on a Stitched Ripple Backdrop to add even more detail.

And on the inside, Catherine used the Swivel Surprise circle shapes to add two more delicious pies and another happy mouse!

Oh, my goodness, this is so clever, Catherine! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing creativity!

Video Feature

Mona is back to share another brilliant video tutorial! She used Stitched Bookmark and Little Woodland Library to create an interactive light-up bookmark! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Mona’s clever bookmark design would make a great gift for any avid reader! And the light-up feature makes it even more special! She used the EZ-Light 3 pack from Pear Blossom to easily add the lights!

To create the fun shaker element, Mona prepped two Stitched Bookmarks with the window cut outs. She covered the bottom window then she added acetate to each one and two layers of foam strips. And then she hid the battery in the bottom and filled the windows with pretty shaker bits before attaching them together.

She stamped the Little Woodland Library, Purrfectly Wicked and You’re Just My Type images with Crunchy Leaf alcohol marker friendly ink before coloring them with Ohuhu markers.

This is so clever and cute, Mona! Thank you so much for sharing this inspiring project!
