Jessica’s Build-A-Bird Feeder Ornament Card

Jessica joins us today with another beautifully clever card to inspire you! She created a fun holiday card with a detachable Build-A-Bird Feeder ornament!

Jessica’s Build-A-Bird Feeder ornament card starts with Candy Cane Lane petite paper for the background! She used Tree Branches Backdrop: Portrait as a place to “hang” the bird feeder.

There’s a sweet holiday message from Winter Birds Add-On hiding under the ornament.

To make the ornament, Jessica cut two Build-A-Bird Feeder main pieces, and she cut the backer pieces with acetate making the ornament see-through. She cut lots of bird seed with the dies included in the Build-A-Bird Feeder set.

Then she attached ornament pieces with foam strips after filling them with the bird seed and placing a White Hemp Twine hanger on the top.

Jessica simply used washi tape on the inside of the card to secure the ornament making it easy to remove and hang on a Christmas tree. She stamped season’s and tweetings from Winter Birds one on each side of the bird feeder ornament! And she added a festive holiday touch with greenery and a red bow from Build-A Birdhouse Christmas Add-On.

Thank you so much, Jessica for sharing this brilliant ornament card idea!

Sending Smiles with a Build-A-Bird Feeder Card by Renata

Renata is sending smiles with her gorgeous Build-a-Bird Feeder design! Her card is also perfect inspiration for the Dies Only challenge at Lawn Fawnatics! Join the challenge fun HERE!

Renata’s beautiful card features the new Build-A-Bird Feeder Lawn Cuts set. She filled it with seeds for the happy and colorful little birds. And she used Emerald Hemp Twine to “hang” the bird feeder and to add a pretty bow.

Renata cut the Flower Garden Backdrop from What’s Sewing On petite paper before adding color to the flowers and leaves. She stamped her Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring greeting on the background, along with a tiny saying from Backyard Bird Feeder Add-On. Then she assembled everything, adding a Stitched Rectangle Frame.

Such a beautiful card, Renata! Thank you for inspiring us today!

Mindy has a super fun modified Platform Pop-Up project to share with us today! She doubled up the Platform Pop-Up to make a tower that’s perfect with Build-A-Bird Feeder! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching! I hope you are inspired!

This is such a fun design created by attaching two platforms with a scored panel between them. Mindy demonstrates the simple steps for putting the pieces together so be sure to watch the video.

For the top platform, placed upside down, Mindy inked the Platform Pop-Up Cloud Wrap Around and the Cloud Inserts to make the treetop. And then she added the Picket Fence Wrap Around for the platform that is the base. The cute sentiment is found in Backyard Bird Feeder!

Mindy added clouds with Stratus Cloud Background Stencil on the background panel before attaching the two platforms.

The Build-A-Bird Feeder looks so cute hanging from the “tree”. And the blue birds are so pretty! I love how Mindy also used Tree Branches Border to add more detail.

Thank you so much for this wonderful inspiration, Mindy!
