Mimi is with us today to inspire you with an amazing Build-A-Fox holiday card! You will love how she created a fun sled by piecing together parts from three sets.

Mimi cut the Build-A-Fox components from white paper before inking them with Distress Oxide inks. I love the sweet rosy cheeks! She also used Build-A-Critter Christmas Accessories for their hats with holly and berries from Build-A-Snowman.

In the background, Mimi combined Desert Canyon Backdrop with trees from Village Hillside Border. Then she layered it on a panel of All the Sparkles white petite paper that she inked with Distress Oxide ink in Speckled Egg. And then she stamped a Winter Wavy Sayings sentiment on a Simple Wavy Banner to add to the background.

And now for the cleverness! Mimi filled a cute sled with gifts from Build-A-Critter Christmas Accessories. She cut the gift packages from more All the Sparkles petite papers.

Then she created the sled with Coffee Table patterned paper. She cut the perch from Build-A-Birdhouse, the bench from Build-A-Greenhouse and the handle from Stitched Umbrella. Next, she layered the perch onto the bench so just the legs are visible, trimming any excess. Then she adhered the runner or umbrella handle to front, trimming that too. Such a clever idea!

Thank you for inspiring us with another beautifully creative card, Mimi!

Joy’s Pull ‘n Slide Surprise with Build-A-Birdhouse

Joy created an interactive Pull ‘n Slide Surprise card that is so beautiful! I know you will be inspired!

Joy used pretty peachy pink and sage leaf colors from What’s Sewing On papers for this beautiful card. She carried those colors to the Build-A-Birdhouse and Tree Branches Border as well. Woodgrain cardstock in white and light brown adds more fun detail to the birdhouse!

The simple greeting appears when you pull the slider and the birdhouse slides up!

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful inspiration, Joy!

Karin shares her wonderful talent for watercolor with a lovely Build-A-Birdhouse card!

Karin cut the Build-A-Birdhouse and Merry Mistletoe pieces from watercolor paper before adding color with watercolor paint. Then she painted a beautiful wash of color for the wintry backdrop on more watercolor paper. And then she stamped the sentiment from Window Scene: Winter on a banner from Window Scene: Spring Lawn Cuts.

Then Karin used white ink to add the snowy splatters in the background as a perfect finishing touch before assembling the birdhouse and mistletoe. This panel was then attached to a Fancy Scalloped Rectangle.

Your card design is so lovely, Karin! Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us!
