Lawn Fawn Video {7.26.24} Christy’s Autumn Scene with You Crow Girl

Christy joins us today to share an Autumn scene card with You Crow Girl! She gives a great coloring tutorial using beautiful, muted shades! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Christy set the scene with a simple ink blended background, masked moon and stamped cornstalks on a Small Stitched Rounded Rectangle. She stamped and colored lots of fun Fall images from You Crow Girl, Happy Harvest, Hay There, Hayrides and Critters on the Farm. She also included leaves from Jump for Joy and a jack o’ lantern from Spooktacular. I love how she colored all the images in muted shades to be just a little spooky.

Thank you so much for this brilliant inspiration, Christy! I love the warm, muted colors in this scene!

Lawn Fawn Video {2.6.24} Marine’s Cute “You Goat This” Platform Pop-Up

In today’s video tutorial, Marine shows us how to mix sets on a Platform Pop-Up card! She personalized the card for a birthday using a goat and garden theme specific for the recipient! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Marine is clearly looking forward to Spring with this cheerful design! She started by stamping out the images from You Goat This, Berry Special, Garden Before ‘n Afters, Eggstraordinary Easter and Wild Wolves. Then she colored them with alcohol markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Next, Marine inked the pieces for the Platform Pop-Up with Distress Oxide ink before assembling the interactive pop-up platform.

In her video, Marine shows how she attached her images to the Platform Pop-Up using acetate and glue dots. This gives the images placed higher on the inserts more stability through many pop-ups!

Thank you so much, Marine for sharing this cheery card along with your great cardmaking tips!

Chinese New Year Ideas with Ivy!

We are so excited about our new Spring 2019 product release that we will be sharing at Creativation next week! We’ve been working hard to bring you lots of wonderful new stamps, dies, ink, and paper collections! Sneak Week is January 14 – 18 and we can’t wait to share everything we’ve been working on! Here we have a little sneaky peek for you!

Ivy joins us today to share traditional gifts of good luck for Chinese New Year! Her gorgeous red and glittery gold card and gift envelope are perfect for celebrating the Year of the Pig on February 5th!

Ivy started her amazing card by layering a Chili Pepper Polka Heart Backdrop over more Chili Pepper cardstock, this gives the background a classy look! Then she added a bold greeting by die cutting Cole’s ABCs from our gold glitter cardstock from the Holiday Sparkle pack. Our cute little pig from Critters on the Farm is stamped on Watercolor Wishes paper then die cut and framed in a gold glitter Stitched Scalloped Square Frame!

Ivy stamped the firecracker from our retired Happy 4th set multiple times and strung them on Black Tie cord for some super cute added detail and fun! Here’s a crafty tip from Ivy to get the letters lined up: “butt each row of letters up against the edge of a ruler or acrylic block. Then using a length of washi tape longer cover the whole line of letters. Flip over, apply glue on all them flip back over and position onto card. When securely adhered, carefully remove tape. It is such a time (and sanity saver)”

Ivy created a Small Stitched Envelope using more Chili Pepper and gold glitter cardstock! She die cut the envelope flap a second time in red to add detail and definition to the envelope!

Ivy’s beautiful card and envelope are a festive and fun addition to the store-bought red envelopes!

Thank you so much, Ivy for sharing your amazing creativity with us today!
