Ivy’s Funny Birthday Card Featuring Happy Mushrooms

Ivy is back with another super fun and clever card design! This time she made a slightly irreverent birthday card that is sure put a smile on everyone’s face!

Ivy made lots of Happy Mushrooms with cool colors of cardstock. She assembled them and then she cut the leafy stems plus more from Tropical Leaves Backdrop. Then she arranged all the mushrooms and leaves on a Peekaboo Backdrop layered on a Sage Leaf panel.

This cute design takes a decidedly funny and punny turn with the Henry’s ABCs greeting! The letters were cut out of Textured Canvas cardstock from the Aqua pack.

And the smiles just keep coming on the inside! Ivy placed another mushroom with more leafy stems. Then she continued the custom sentiment, too funny!

Ivy also made a fun wall-hanging using Happy Mushrooms and Tropical Leaves Backdrop! It has a fun Cavallini vibe! Such a great idea to use extra pieces from a card project!

I love this fun inspiration, Ivy! Thank you so much for the smiles!

Hello friends! With Valentine’s Day just a month away, we have a week of amazing inspiration for you! Lots of Heart Week will inspire you with projects filled with heartwarming ideas by our wonderfully talented designers! And these ideas aren’t just for Valentine’s Day but any time you want to send some love!

Today we start our Lots of Heart inspiration with a fun Ta-Da! Diorama! card and video tutorial by Marine! She also used the new Ta-Da! Diorama! Heart Window Add-On! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Swan Soirée looks so lovely on Marine’s Ta-Da! Diorama! and the new Heart Window Add-On is so perfect! I love the combination of Fruit Salad gingham with the pretty woodgrain cardstock.

Ta-Da! Inside the diorama Marine added another swan with lots of hearts and cattails. What’s Sewing On paper is so perfect in the background!

Elena got so creative with our Happy Mushrooms! She did some stamp altering to make the How You Bean? mason jar taller. Then she filled it with the mushrooms in pretty pastels! Radiant Heart Backdrop fills the background with texture and she added pattern with Spiffier Speckles.

Karin used Heart Wreath Stencils to create a clean and simple card that is so gorgeous! The Scripty For You greeting in gold metallic is so pretty. She added another layer of detail with Lacy Borders!

Lynnette created a traditional style Valentine card featuring Radiant Heart Backdrop and Magic Heart Messages! She included another sentiment from Wavy Sayings on a Simple Wavy Banner. Her card is so pretty in just red and white!

Mimi‘s project is so much fun! She made a Heart Pouch that holds 4 mini cards featuring cute Valentine critters!

Mimi used the new Stitched Happy Heart for the mini card fronts. Then she added cute scenes with Porcu-pine for You, Wood You Be Mine? and Scent with Love. She also used Porcu-pine for You Add-On, Scent with Love Add-On and So Dam Much.

Inside each card, Mimi created another scene with the cute critters. For the mini card base, she placed the heart die just above a folded card before running it through the die cut machine. This makes the heart shaped base, to which she then added the mini card front. The little set of Valentines tucked in the Heart Pouch is so much fun!

Megan‘s card is all about conversation hearts! She filled the How You Bean? jar with colorful hearts from the Conversation Heart Add-On. Then she created a large heart using Stitched Happy Heart and Cole’s ABCs. The pretty blue Favorite Flannel paper in the background makes that pink heart pop!

Joyce‘s adorable Valentine combines lots of new sets! She started with Radiant Heart Backdrop in Stripes ‘n Sprinkles paper. Then she layered in on Raspberry cardstock before adding the super cute Happy Mushrooms! She finished with a sprinkle of hearts and a greeting from Magic Heart Messages!

Latisha‘s card is so bright and happy! She used rainbow cardstock strips to add color and ground the Stitched Happy Heart. Then she white embossed the hugging porcupines from Porcu-pine for You on Mermaid cardstock and popped them on the heart. They look so cute!

Elise created a pair of adorable Valentine cards featuring our new Stitched Happy Heart! She added sweet faces to each heart using the dies in the set. She made custom eyes using the “smile” upside down and adding an extra piece for an eyelash! For the background Elise used pretty papers, then she added greetings with Scripty Happy and Scripty Love. Happy Happy Happy and Happy Happy Happy Add-On complete the sentiments.

Lots of Bananas with Grace!

Grace created a trio of projects with a fun banana theme! She also used some punny custom greetings for each one!

First up, Grace made “very a-Peeling” Heart Pouch treats, cutting them from So A-Peeling 12 x 12 paper from the Fruit Salad collection. Then she stamped her punny saying with Claire’s ABCs and a sentiment from How You Bean Seashell Add-On on a Fancy Wavy Banner. See the diagram below for the cute banana how-to!

She filled the Heart Pouches with banana candy before tying them up with Aquamarine cord. So adorable!

This yummy banana split card starts with the Radiant Heart Backdrop and more Fruit Salad paper for the background. Grace used a Stitched Circle cut in half for the bowl, and Build-A-Drink Cocktail Add-On for the stem of the bowl. Both pieces were die cut from Pastel Pearlescent Vellum. Then she filled the bowl with I Scream, You Scream ice cream scoops, stitched hearts and chocolate syrup. The “whipped cream” is from Meadow Backdrop: Portrait and the tiny heart sprinkles from Say What Gift Tags!

She layered two Fancy Wavy Banners for another punny Claire’s ABCs custom sentiment.

I am totally bananas for this clever card! Again, Grace used So A-Peeling paper for the background and Claire’s ABCs to spell out part of the greeting. Then she added Henry’s ABCs, colored like bananas to finish the custom sentiment!

This time she made a whole bunch of bananas, so adorable!

Here, Grace shows us her “secret” recipe for making those adorable bananas! She used just two dies, one from Life is Good Lawn Cuts and one from Outside In Stitched Strawberry. She is so clever!
