Catherine’s Amazing Tree House Library Platform Pop-Up

Catherine‘s Platform Pop-Up library is the stuff dreams are made of for avid readers! Especially our critters from Little Woodland Library!

To start, Catherine cut the Platform Pop-Up and then sent it through the die cut machine again with Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop. This gives the platform the same woodsy look as the Tree House and the Lift the Flap Meadow tree stumps which she added to the platform. The Platform Pop-Up Cloud Inserts stand in for foliage and look great with the treetops from Tree House.

She used the smallest of the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables to cut an opening in the tree trunk to create space for a library!

Next, Catherine prepped the cute Little Woodland Library images. She also included books from Purrfectly Wicked and Den Sweet Den. And I just love how she used the swing from Let’s Play as another place for a woodland critter to read!

I love how she tucked the little reading squirrel and mole into the spaces behind the flaps of the Lift the Flap Meadow tree stump. Such a fun surprise!

This card is so clever and adorable, Catherine! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

Happy Mushrooms and Hedgehog Card and Tags with Grace

Grace has brilliant Christmas inspiration with a Happy Mushrooms and hedgehog woodland scene card! She also made a coordinating 3D mushroom tag!

To begin this charming Christmas card, Grace cut a Large Stitched Oval from a Favorite Flannel panel. She used this as a window to create her sweet woodland scene! She cut the mushroom caps from Spiffier Speckles paper, adding shading with Guava and Chili Pepper inks. And she used Tiny Gift Box Hedgehog Add-On to make the adorable little critter.

Grace used the tree stump from Lift the Flap Meadow for the hedgehog to sit on, then she arranged the Happy Mushrooms and Merry Mistletoe in the scene. Next, she gold embossed the sentiment from Winter Wavy Sayings on a vellum Fancy Wavy Banner. Then she used Chunky Glitter to dust the images with sparkle!

These 3D mushroom tags will add a special touch to your gifts this Christmas! They will look so cute hanging on the Christmas tree too.

To create each tag, Grace cut six large mushroom caps. She folded each one in half, then she glued the pieces together back-to-back. Then she cut another large mushroom cap from white cardstock and used it flat as a backing for the accordion of attached mushroom caps. This allows the tag to lay flat on a gift and hides the cord. She stamped a message from Say What Christmas Critters on a mini tag from Scalloped Circle Gift Tag to hang on the cord.

I’m so impressed with this beautiful card and tags, Grace! Thank you so much for this brilliant inspiration!
