Grace is back with another brilliant paper crafting project! She created box card Tote Bags for Spring occasions using Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring. She filled the altered Tote Bags with flowers including our new Lovely Lily of the Valley.

Grace created a larger Tote Bag by altering the Shadow Box Card as the base before adding the tote bag pieces to each side. See the directions below for the easy alterations. She used Rainbow Ever After in Rapunzel, Alice and Jack to match the pastel colors of the flower bouquets!

Then Grace personalized each box with a greeting from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Spring! She white embossed the sentiment on a vellum Extra Sentiment Banner, then she layered it on a label from Platform Pop-Up Picket Fence Wrap Around.

Crafting the Flowers

Here’s a great breakdown of how Grace assembled each of the flowers. The ink colors named are Lawn Fawn inks that are in the supply list below. To make the daisy flower she combined Reveal Wheel Circle Add-On Frames: Flower and Sun with a stem and leaf from Darling Daffodils.

Creating the altered box

Grace altered the Shadow Box Card by cutting 1/2″ off the top of each piece. And she added the hillside inserts higher in box, more toward the middle. You will use the inserts for attaching the flowers. She also cut off the handle panel of the Tote Bag, then trimmed 1/8″ off each side. She finished the altered box by attaching the panels to front and back of the Shadow Box.

How pretty are these boxes filled with Spring flowers? They are so perfect for happy Spring celebrations! Or make up a bunch of them and decorate your home with flowers that won’t fade!

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful and creative project, Grace!

Lawn Fawn Video {3.26.21} Caly’s Spring-themed Die Cut Card

Spring is just around the corner but in case you can’t wait, Caly is bringing you Spring in card form! She created a die cut design filled with flowers and ladybugs! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks for watching!

Caly’s adorable design features Tiny Gift Box Ladybug Add-On in a pretty garden scene! For the flowers she combined: Stitched Flower Frame, Reveal Wheel Circle Add-On Frame: Flower and Sun, and Reveal Wheel Tulip Add-On.

She added simple ink-blending to the die cuts to give them some depth and dimension. And then she arranged the flowers and ladybugs on a large 5×7 panel that she ink blended using Distress Oxide ink.

Thank you so much for sharing this delightful bit of Spring beauty, Caly!

Lynette’s Flowery Slide on Over Maze

I love to see our die sets used in clever ways and Lynette‘s super cute card does exactly that!

Lynette used the Slide on Over Maze as the “flower stems” in this clever design! She created the flowers and leaves using the Reveal Wheel Circle Add-On Frames: Flower and Sun die set! Cute little critters from A Bug Deal add happy smiles to this “really bug deal” birthday card!

Lynette combined Hello Sunshine Remix 6×6 papers to make the flowers and the blue sky backdrop. Watercolor Wishes 6×6 paper was used for the leaves and “grass” cut using Stitched Scalloped Borders! Those pretty buttons make adorable flower centers!

Thank you so much for sharing this super creative design with us today, Lynette!
