Lawn Fawn Video {8.29.23} Joy’s Spooky and Fun Glow-in-the-dark Halloween Card

Joy is back with another beautifully creative card project for you! In this video tutorial she shows us how to use Glow-in-the-dark Stencil Paste with Spooky Forest Backdrop and Full Moon to create an amazing Halloween scene! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

Joy’s amazing Halloween card combines Spooky Forest Backdrop, Full Moon and Cole’s ABCs Lawn Cuts die sets. She started with the backdrop cut from Storm Cloud cardstock. Then she cut all the other images from white cardstock to color with Distress Oxide inks.

She added Glow-in-the-Dark Stencil Paste to the moon, ghosts (from Spooky Forest Backdrop) and Cole’s ABCs letters. The glowing effect is so cool when the lights are dimmed.

I love that Joy added splatters of ink and also Liquid Stardust. Even when the lights are on, there is awesome shimmer and sparkle!

Thank you so much for sharing this brilliant Halloween inspiration, Joy!

Jenn’s Wicked Awesome Glow-in-the-dark Halloween Card

Today is the big day! Just a few more hours until Jenn and I join you all for another Create with Us Live Event! There’s still time to make plans to pop over to our Facebook Live TODAY at 5PM Pacific time to join the crafty and chatty fun! Click HERE for all the details! See you later!

Jenn joins us today to share her adorable Purrfectly Wicked Halloween card! It’s a glow-in-the-dark stunner!

Jenn’s epic scene combines Purrfectly Wicked and Purrfectly Wicked Add-On with Tiny Halloween, Fox Costumes Before ‘n Afters and Happy Howloween! She used a Circle Stackable for that awesome moon and added a Spooky Fence Border in the background.

To make those “wicked” letters glow, Jenn first inked up Distress Heavyweight cardstock with Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade Distress inks. Then she spread a thin layer of Glow-in-the-Dark Stencil Paste over the top. Once it dried, she cut the letters using Finley’s ABCs!

The Purrfectly Wicked cats look just like Jenn’s own trio of felines! Gus is adorable in the tutu from Happy Howloween!

As a sparkly finishing touch, Jenn used Prisma glitter to add highlights and details to some of the images!

Thanks so much for this super fun inspiration, Jenn!

Jenn has some new online classes coming up and they look like so much fun! To get all the details please click HERE.
