Lawn Fawn Video {10.29.24} Marine’s Slimline Thank You Card with You Crow Girl

Marine has a gorgeous thank you card to share with us today! She colored on kraft cardstock to create a vintage look with You Crow Girl and Happy Harvest! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Marine’s lovely card starts with a Large Slimline with Sliders panel and a Scalloped Slimline with Hearts: Landscape panel layered on top.

She used an Outside In Stitched Pumpkin in Falling Leaves paper layered behind Stitched Pumpkin Frame in Canned Pumpkin cardstock. Over this she added her greeting of Giant Outlined Thanks and a phrase from Thanks, Thanks, Thanks! The sweet bow can be found in Cute Candy Canes.

I love effect of coloring with alcohol markers on kraft cardstock! It really does create a unique vintage looks! As always, Marine used images from several sets to decorate this fun design starting with scarecrows from You Crow Girl and Happy Harvest.

She also used sunflowers and pumpkins from Happy Harvest. And she used the acorn from Let’s Go Nuts, leaves from Jump for Joy and tufts of grass from Eggstraordinary Easter!

I love this happy design, Marine! Thank you so much for sharing with us today!

This set includes an adorable border with Santa and his reindeer with matching sentiments for punny fun! It’s our Free Gift with orders over $60 exclusively at lawnfawn.com until September 1 or while supplies last.

Mayra is back to share another amazing project! She wishes you all a Happy Fall with lots of fun crafting ideas!

A blank notebook is perfect to decorate as a “gratitude journal”! Mayra decorated hers with pretty Autumn images! She combined pumpkins from Hay There, Hayrides and Happy Harvest with leaves and a sentiment from Scripty Autumn Sentiments. Planning to color with Copic markers, she stamped the images with Copic-friendly Jet Black ink.

She also decorated the pages inside the journal, here she stamped images from Gleeful Gardens! And then, Mayra created a pretty Goodie Bag decked out with a shaker element made with Stitched Pumpkin Frame and Outside In Stitched Pumpkin!

For the Platform Pop-Up card, Mayra combined Hay There, Hayrides with Build-A-Barn and Tiny Farm. I love the bright purple and green colors, combined with the white barn and tractor! Such a pretty color palette!

I love all of these wonderfully creative projects, Mayra! Thank you so much for sharing with us today!

First Saturday with Megan {10.1.22} Have a Spooktacular World Card Making Day!

Happy World Card Making Day! Today we have Megan with us to share an amazing Platform Pop-Up card for Halloween! Let us know in the comments what you have planned to celebrate our card making hobby today! We hope you have a “spooktacular” crafty day!

The colors that Megan used for this amazing design are so eye-catching! Megan die cut the Platform Pop-Up from Bristol cardstock so she could add Distress Oxide color. She chose Lucky Clover and Pine Needles to blend that cool dark teal shade!

Megan created the cute jack o’ lantern using Stitched Pumpkin Frame and Outside In Stitched Pumpkin. She cut the pieces from Fake Tan cardstock, then she added shading with Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide ink. And then the leaves in Cilantro and Noble Fir cardstock got some inky shading as well.

Next, Megan added lots of fun elements to enhance the spooky look of her design! She used just the Booyah coordinating dies to cut the ghosts from vellum, then she attached them to the pumpkin with clear acetate strips. Then she added happy spider from Cute Cobweb and bare tree from Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add-On.

The Platform Pop-Up folds flat for mailing! You may need to use an oversized envelope to accommodate the height of the ghosts. Megan added that fun greeting from Simply Fall Sentiments! Anyone opening this spooktacular card will be sure to smile so big!

I absolutely love this amazing Halloween card! Thanks so much for sharing with us today, Megan!
