Time to “Shell-Ebrate” with a Watercolor Card by Jenn!

Jenn is back with another amazing watercolor design to inspire you! Her beach themed card features How You Bean? Seashell Add-On!

Jenn shows off some amazing watercolor skills in this beautiful design! She used Distress Watercolor Pencils, set 3 to create a wonderful beachy look. She also water-colored the seashells and all the die cuts from Henry’s ABCs, Stitched Wave Borders and Stitched Hillside Borders. And she included watery vines from Bayou Backdrop as well.

Jenn added interesting detail on the Stitched Wave Border with Sunburst Backdrop! And it wouldn’t be a Jenn creation without a bit of glitter. Here she used Distress Rock Candy glitter.

I love how she combined the sentiment from How You Bean Seashell Add-On with letters from Henry’s ABCs!

Thank you so much for treating us to this amazing card design, Jenn!

Joy’s tropical island themed Platform Pop-Up reminds us to find time to relax this summer! She combined Hammock and Trees with Stitched Wave Borders, Cole’s ABCs and Ocean Wave Stencils to create a summery design! You can watch the video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching!

To create the look of a tropical island, Joy chose Mermaid cardstock for the Platform Pop-Up base. She also used it for the Stitched Wave Borders. Then she cut multiple palm trees and a colorful hammock from Hammock and Trees. She inked, then assembled the die cut images before attaching them to the platform.

Joy added two more palm trees on the base of the platform along with stenciled ocean waves. Then she attached the Cole’s ABCs message as a reminder to take the time to relax!

I love this beautiful tropical island card, Joy! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us today!

Lawn Fawn Video {2.10.24} Jessica’s Interactive Light-up Lighthouse Card

Today Jessica shares a special interactive card design! She shows us how to create a light-up card using a magnet activated circuit with Chibitronics products. You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.

Thank you so much for watching, I hope the video inspired you to try something new!

Jessica created her stormy scene using images from Smooth Sailing, Cloudy Stencil and Ocean Wave Borders. She used Distress Oxide Inks to add color to the scene and colored the stamped images with Copic markers.

All the fun interactive magic happens “behind the scenes” on this card. In the video, Jessica shows how to use conductive fabric tape, a reed switch and an animating blink LED light to create the circuit. She used magnets to attach the sailboat to the right side of the card. Then when you move the sailboat to left side, the magnet activates the reed switch under the waves to light up the lighthouse.

This clever light-up lighthouse theme goes so well with the sentiments from Smooth Sailing!

Thank you so much for this clever inspiration, Jessica! Your card is so clever and fun!
