Fawny Holiday Video
Chari has been stitching up some awesome designs for Fawny Holiday Week! She will share three beautiful ways use the Festive Wreath pattern with Embroidery Hoop. You can watch her video tutorial below or click HERE to watch at our YouTube channel.
Thank you so much for watching! We can’t wait to see your stitched cards and crafty projects!
Chari used the same card “recipe” for all three cards: a stitched wreath, stenciled background and cheery greeting using Henry’s ABCs and Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Winter! By varying the colors and the stencils she made a traditional Christmas card, a frosty winter design and a fun retro style card!
For a classic look, Chari stitched the Festive Wreath in shades of green with pops of red berries and red bow. She used Winter Sprigs Background Stencils to create the beautiful backdrop and added a cheery Merry Christmas greeting!
Shades of pink and teal highlight Chari’s retro-look design! She used Peppermint Stripes Stencils for the background with a pink wreath studded with colorful beads.
A white and blue wreath stitched with teal and silver beads highlights Chari’s wintry design. She used the Embroidery Hoop Window and Frame Add-On in glittery silver to frame the wreath. The Snowflake Background Stencils in tone-on-tone mermaid and glittery Stickles on the Henry’s ABCs add to the frosty look of the card.
Marine created a fun card to wish friends a “really cool Christmas”! She blended Frosty Family with Yeti or Not to take the snow family to the slopes for some snowboarding fun! The cool scene also features snow cones and popsicles on the Treat Cart!
Marine used the Double Slider Surprise, so the scene expands for even more Frosty Family fun! She combined trees from Simply Celebrate Winter with those in Yeti or Not to create a tree line with more dotted around the landscape.
The white gel pen details on the hats, scarves and trees add lots of cuteness and highlight the frosty scene.
I love that Marine also used holographic cardstock as tabs and to layer behind the Simple Wavy Banner.

Karin trimmed an adorable winter-themed family photo to fit inside the Winter Wonderland Window. And then she added extra snowflakes to decorate the frame. She layered the photo and frame on a plain white panel before adding to a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame.
Then she stamped and colored one of the Magic Heart Messages as the perfect greeting!
This is such a wonderful way to create a photo frame card! For a spring or summer themed photo, you could use the Secret Garden Window as a frame.
I love this beautiful card so much, Karin! Thank you for this brilliant idea!
