Today is our showcase of Double Slider Surprise! Just pull the tab to reveal not one, but two surprises! This fun interactive die slides open to reveal two hidden panels. Hide a scene, sentiments, or a surprise gift card! The design team has made the most amazing samples! We also have a video at the end showcasing some fun ways of using this fun new interactive die set!

Lizzy‘s adorable Thanks a Latte card has a charming winter design with the help of Really Rainbow Christmas papers! I love that she tucked a gift card on one of the Double Slider Surprise panels and the greeting on the other one!

Lynnette‘s super fun Christmas Double Slider Surprise card features new holiday sets, Say What? Christmas Critters and Simply Celebrate Winter! I love how the Pixie Dust Sparkle paper extends to show glittery snow across all three panels!

Elena gathered some trick-or-treaters on this amazing Double Slider Surprise Halloween card! The super cute scene extends to reveal Costume Party and Easter Party kids along with a cute kid in an astronaut costume from Out of this World!

I love how Nicole‘s Rooting for You garden grows when the Double Slider Surprise panels slide open! Such a fun way to send an encouraging message!

Kay combined images from Thanks a Latte, Pick of the Patch, Happy Harvest and Thanks a Bushel to create this beautiful Double Slider Surprise card! I love how she added her sentiments on the slider panels with Flirty Frames and some more cute images!

I love how Elise kept the rest of the Hay There herd under wraps on her charming birthday card! When the recipient pulls the tabs the “whole herd” appears! Looks like one of our Happy Howloween pups joined the farm critters!

Audrey‘s bright and cheery Double Slider Surprise card features Elphie Selfie and Wild for You and is perfect for sending birthday wishes and a hidden birthday gift card! It’s a great way to treat a friend!

Melissa shows how fun the Double Slider Surprise can be when used in a travel journal! She hid 2 extra photos on the slider panels! Just so clever! I love the pretty green argyle pattern from Knit Picky Fall covering a page along with the cute Caramel Apple!

Chari‘s adorable pumpkin carving Pick of the Patch scene slides open to reveal more cute pumpkins! She used Spooky Fence Border to build this happy scene!

Yainea‘s design is adorable! She used the new Snowfall Backdrop die to add the look of snow to the background of her Double Slider Surprise panels! I love how the slider panel opens to show the little penguin from Toboggan Together tossing a snowball! The Snow Cool penguins have no idea what’s coming!

This beautiful Winter Skies design by Chari used the Double Slider Surprise to extend the scene above, showing the cute and cuddly bears were waiting for a glimpse at Santa and his reindeer! She added her greeting to the other panel!

Megan added a fun surprise to her adorable scene created using Winter Village, Happy Village and Village Shops! Pull the tabs to reveal a “rare” love story…

…a Yeti love story! I love the rainbow colors that Megan used to color the village and how she added texture to the background with Stitched Mountain Borders and Woodgrain Backdrop!

Chari‘s Thanks a Latte card is so fun! The Double Slider Surprise hides a whimsical two-part sentiment! I love how she added Hot Cocoa cord in the place of pull tabs.

 

Nichol‘s amazing Double Slider Surprise design is filled with Pumpkin Spice and Thanks a Latte mugs in warm Autumn colors! I can almost smell the yummy hot beverages of Fall! I love how she used Woograin cardstock to give her fabulous card rustic charm!

Rebecca’s Winter Skies design includes a hidden greeting and a gift card on the Double Slider Surprise panels! I love how she colored the scarf in red and green stripes, so cute!

This Double Slider Surprise card pairs Holiday Helpers with Say What? Christmas Critters! It uses the stopper so the slider panels slide out just far enough to reveal the cute little elves!

  3. I like any kind of surprises, I am the one always giving surprises of some kind. So if I get one it is a complete joy!! I adored all the cards but my 2 favorite cards the designers did not have a post on them. Megan’s town card and Nicoles coffee cup card are awesome!

  4. Oh tehse cards are all so cute! I love how you can have the slider surprise as a little extra or adhered to a card! I especially like the card by megan Quinn because of the rare find sentiment and you only find the yetis (?) when you slide the card open. thats such a great idea 😀

    I love all kinds of surprises, if someone is visiting for surprise or surprise presents. I love the advent calendar my mom still makes for me wirh sweets or little surprises. And i love making surprises, like surprise cards for others like a random card for a loved one just to show them how much they mean to me. It doesn’t need a special occasion like mothers or valentines day to make cards that show much much you appreciate a person and it’s nice to give a surprise card to others 🙂 ♥

  14. I love an unexpected phone call from a friend I haven’t seen in a while. I have almost all of the Lawn Fawn interactive dies and this one is also coming to my home; I can’t wait!!!! I already pre-ordered it because I had to have it the minute it hits the stores.

    me on Valentine’s Day. For many years he never did
    that – then as we got older he started going out early
    in the morning and getting a present with flowers. I
    miss those days – as he’s been gone almost 15 years.

  109. Love this slider! There are so many possibilities! My favorite surprise is mail or flowers for an unexpected reason. I enjoy making cards partly because I received cards from aunts and cousins as a child, and I remember how excited I was whenever there was a little piece of happy mail JUST FOR ME wedged between other mail. I still have a box with some of those cards, even though they’re 30+ years old now! I enjoy making and sending cards to others in the hope that they’ll get that unexpected, happy moment during their day.

    Well, I’ve never had a Surprise Party and I don’t get flowers…so…I will have to say a surprise visit as I actually had one this year!
    My Hubby had to pick up his Brother from the airport and when they got to our house and walked through the door…my Hubby first and then…to my Surprise…my Nephew who came who from the Air Force and I haven’t seen in ages…popped out from behind my Hubby holding a pizza and said; “Pizza Delivery!”…I bawled my head off. I hugged him so long and so hard and I just couldn’t let go of him. That was a surprise of a lifetime.

    I love surprises of popping in to visit friends when I go back home to Arizona from my new home of Iowa. I don’t announce of Facebook that I’m coming to town and then I drop by for a visit or wait outside of their place of work when they are leaving for the day. Seeing the reactions on their faces when they see me is the best part.

  253. My favourite surprises are the little things in life. Like a friend who secretly took pictures with my phone on my birthday, so I had some beautiful memories. Or when someone sends you a smeet message just when you need it, without i’m letting someone know i’m having a bad day.

My favorite surprise was the surprise goodbye engagement party my family threw for my husband (then fiancé) and I right after we were engaged and about to move up to North Dakota since my fiancé was in Air Force. I got to say goodbye to so many of my friends and family. And I am forever grateful. My sister had put together a special notebook that everyone signed and left a funny story or fun time we shared. This is an incredible release!
