To Bee or Not to Bee Blog Hop!

Happy Monday Lawn Fawn friends! Today we are participating in a fun To Bee or Not to Bee blog hop to celebrate World Bee Day and to raise awareness of the importance of bees!

Elena has created the most delightful Happy Bee Day party decor! Be sure to make it all the way to the end of the post, there are giveaway prizes to be won and lots of wonderfully talented crafters to visit on this blog hop! For more information about bees, World Bee Day and the blog hop please visit Milka’s blog, click HERE.

For the banner, Elena kept it simple using Stitched Party Banners and some Black Licorice and Sticky Note cardstock! She used some Black Tie cord to string the banners together!

She patterned the cake topper on a letter board design! She used a scoring board to score the lines every half inch on a standard card size panel of Sticky Note cardstock. Then she framed it with a white Stitched Rectangle Frame and added Cole’s ABCs letters! I love how she attached some happy bees with acetate to look like they are buzzing around the cake! So adorable!

The party favors are Tiny Gift Boxes with some special bee details! Strips of black cardstock were added to the yellow boxes. The faces are from Tiny Gift Box Deer Add-On (Elena carefully trimmed off the deer ears),

For the sweet little wings, Elena started with the small butterfly from Layered Butterflies die cut from vellum. Then she trimmed them with scissors into the shape of wings. She also added little bee stingers using the whipped cream die from Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-on die set; such a clever idea!

Here are the components of the party favor boxes! They are listed in the supply list at the end of today’s post.

To decorate the drink bottles, Elena wrapped the bottles in black cardstock. She die cut a Stitched Circle and colored the edge with a yellow Copic marker and stamped the sentiment which is a mix of “happy” and “day” from Tiny Tag Sayings: Birthday and “bee” from Bugs and Kisses! The happy little bee is also from Bugs and Kisses while the bee trail is from Toadally Awesome.

Thank you so much, Elena for creating this amazing party for World Bee Day!
