We Wish You A Very Fawny Holiday Week 2020 {Day 2}

Hello everyone! Welcome to our special Fawny Holiday Week! This week is all about getting ideas for the upcoming Holidays! We have fun ideas and inspiration along with videos and daily giveaways! (Make sure to comment for a chance to win a stamp set and coordinating dies of your choice and a Let It Shine 6×6 pad!)

We will be featuring Lawn Fawn Holiday products this week, both old and new! Woohoo! We will be sharing holiday projects by our Design Teams and some special guest designers! Our team members (Fawnies) from Lawn Fawn Headquarters will also be joining us for extra inspiration! I can’t wait to show you all of their gorgeous projects!

To get us started on Day 2, Kara has a video tutorial to show how she made her Magic Iris Snow Globe! You can watch the video below or click HERE to watch it at our YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching!

Kara‘s Magic Iris features a sweet gingerbread snow globe! She combined Snow Globe Scenes with Over the Mountain Borders and Tiny Gingerbread to decorate the Snow Globe Add-On! She added pretty stenciled details with Yeti ink and Snowflake Trio and Snowy Sky stencils!

Guest Designer Davina created an interactive slimline scene that features Snow Much Fun and the Waving Pull-Tab Starter set! I love these cute bears making snow angels!

To create the amazing scene at the top of her card, Davina combined Over the Mountain Borders, Winter Village and Tiny Christmas! Her coloring and white pen details bring this landscape to life!

Samantha paired old with new on her delightful card! Winter Dragon and Little Dragon are hanging stockings on the Cozy Christmas fireplace while Mini Snowflakes fall!

Christy‘s frosty scene is just too cute! I love the polar bears enjoying holiday sweets surrounded by snow-capped mountains! The bears are from Den Sweet Den and yummy treats are found in A Creature Was Stirring! Christy built the scene using Stitched Mountain Borders, Stitched Simple Wavy Borders and the ice sheets from Beary Happy Holidays and Critters in the Arctic! And she found the perfect sentiment in the Snow Cool set!

Jessica from LFHQ created the cutest little tree-shaped gift tags! She used Outside In Stitched Christmas Tree Stackables with the little tags from Scalloped Circle Gift Tags! She cut the trees from Noble Fir cardstock and added snowy detail by sponging on Yeti ink. To decorate the tags she used the snowmen from Ready Set Snow and then she stamped the holiday greetings from Say What? Christmas Critters!

To add a finishing touch to these adorable gift tags, Jessica tied on some Green Sparkle Lawn Trimmings cord! They look great spiffing up a plain kraft gift bag!

Audrey‘s favorite winter set is Making Frosty Friends and I’m so glad she featured our beloved snowman on this fantastic card! In addition to the snowman’s cute bird friends, Audrey included a couple of our new Den Sweet Den bears! With some Mini Snowflakes and a sentiment from Offset Sayings: Christmas this card is filled lots of happiness for the holidays!

Ivy‘s adorable dies-only design is perfect to toast the New Year or to send some holiday joy! For the background she used the Quilted Backdrop in Vanilla Malt layered over Moonstone cardstock! She used Outside In Stitched Mug in Mint Sparkle ‘n Shine with a Pixie Dust dollop of whipped cream (the frosting from Stitched Cupcake)! The pretty Stitched Poinsettia is cut from Pastel and Neutral Shimmer cardstock and Scripty Cheers adds a bit more glitter in Silver Sparkle cardstock.

Samantha M used alcohol inks to add awesome color to her Stitched Poinsettias! I love how she layered the colorful petals with vellum petals! She arranged the pretty poinsettias on a Woodgrain panel and finished the design with a fussy cut sentiment from Joy to the Woods!

I hope you have enjoyed this fun look at some of our Holiday and Winter sets. Tomorrow we have another fun Fawny Holiday celebration but for now, it’s giveaway time! 1. I really enjoy giving gifts rather then receiving them.🤗 However my favourite present I ever got was a box full of new lawn fawn products. I never expected it and so it made the present all the more special. 😍

  2. I like to give gifts to make people happy. But i just really enjoy being with family more than the gifts themself.
    I love inspiration week.

  3. I love Christmas, and I love wrapping presents. I like to add cute LF tags, ribbons and even paper flowers. I’m just sad that this year I won’t be there to see most of them being opened, due to COVID.

    1. I’ve gotten an early start on Christmas cards and tags this year. Lawn Fawn stamps and dies make me so happy. My friends and family treasure these cards. So do I!!
      Merry Christmas 🎄

  4. Last year a crafty friend made some Christmas earrings from Swarovski crystals and I bought 2 pairs of Christmas tree ones – one for my mum and the other for me to wear on Christmas Day.

  5. Right now, my favorite gift is watching my daughter open her presents on Christmas Day. I love seeing Christmas through the eyes of a child.

  6. Have given is hard, but I will say the gift of my son to my parents and in laws, he was adopted just before Thanksgiving we had lost 3 pregnancies and were on a adoption list from the infertility doctors office. We were able to apply for a baby the couple had 8 different couples who could not have their own babies apply and we were selected! I say it was a gift to all of us!! Awesome projects today.

  7. My favorite gifts are the ornaments that I pick out ever year to give to my children on Christmas Eve. The ornament represents something they accomplished that year or something that was special to them. They have quite the collection to take with them some day.

  8. I think the most pleasure I have got from giving a gift was a dolls house for my granddaughter, her reaction and happiness was superb.

  9. Any present given that has been on someones wish-list for a long time is a joy to give, can’t think of any in particular.
MY wish-list has plenty of more LF-sets – let’s see if Santa remembers this hahaha….
And by the way – I do LOVE Christy‘s frosty scene – sooooo cute!

  10. I love picking out a perfect gift that I know the person will love! I have given a few favorite gifts over the
years. I remember saving my money as a teenager to purchase my dad a St. Anthony’s medal & chain for
a Birthday/Christmas present. My dad wore it for several yrs. & was upset he had accident & broke the chain.
He placed medal & chain in his wallet to carry with him. Unfortunately, he died before it was repaired but he
ended up purchasing gold cross’s as a sorry gift that he had to postpone his visit to us. Well he did return
home 4 days later to be buried! My sister & I was given his gift of the gold cross to wear at the funeral.
Thanks for offering us another chance to win stamps & dies from this release!

  11. I think the best gift I gave was a picture of my daughter and her great grandmother to my mother-in-law. We lost her not long after.

  12. I carry on the tradition on my husbands grandmother since she has passed. Every Christmas she always made Kipferl cookies. Since she passed away I have carried on the tradition. I now make them for everyone in the family.

  13. We don’t give out gifts to the adults anymore, just some small homemade items like cookies etc, and the kids get the real gifts, so my favorites were given some time ago. There are two I can’t decide between. One was my Ex’s old car that we gave my brother for christmas. He just got his license and really didn’t know what the key he unwrapped would stand for – until we told him to go outside and try his card. He drove it for many years and his eyes still light up when he talks about that moment. The other one was the traffic light I got my husband. He once mentioned he’d love one outside the bathroom door so everyone knew if it was “safe” to go inside. Those things stick to my mind so I did a lot of calls until I was able to get one – will never forget the look on his face since he really didn’t expect that. He added a switch and it really was hanging next to the bathroom door back in his apartment. Oh, and I also have a more recent one. One of my daughters – 16 back then – was asking for a special cellphone and I told her she could only get the smaller and older version. Well, of course she got what she wanted. She was sitting in front of the christmas tree, tears of joy running down her face, the more since she also found the necklace she so loved under the tree. I just love christmas and the more I think about it the more of these happy moments come back to my mind, even those from very long ago.

  14. I like to give homemade photo books/scrapbooks of trips/events that I may have taken with friends – it is a good reminder of fun times we had for that year…

  15. I love giving homemade gifts. Every year for the past 20 plus years a group of girlfriends go out for a Christmas lunch. A few years back I made each one of them a quilt and presented the quilts to them at our holiday luncheon. These women are such a special part of my life and I loved being able to give them this special gift.

  16. I got some yarn for my best friend and some knitting needles and a pattern. then I wrote a story about her meeting a unicorn who gave her a magic pattern. The pattern is in parts so she doesn’t 100% know what she is making.
My plan is that we will make it together long distance. It’s for this year so we will see how it goes!!
Trying to resist temptation to buy Unicorn stamps…. Lol

  17. I’m loving the poinsettia card by Samantha, so striking! Favorite gift I gave was a scrapbook about our mom that I made for my sister.

  18. My favorite gift giving at one Christmas was giving each of my immediate family members a quilt in which I hand-created – everyone was delighted to receive a quilt. Thanks for sharing these lovely projects – looking forward to the entire hop! Have a blessed week!

  19. My favorite gifts to give are homemade gifts. One year I made Christmas tree ornaments for some of my nieces and nephews and they still use them on their Christmas trees:)

  20. When my mom was in the nursing home I made her a memory board. For the covering I used the salvageable part of an old quilt that belonged to her mother. I had my family send me pictures of their families which I had printed, and then arranged them over the memory board. It was a big hit with her and all the family.

  21. My favorite gift that I remember the most is when I was in college. I saw a girl struggling with all her books and a ripped backpack and knew she didn’t have much money. Although neither did I, I felt compelled to help her somehow. I went home and handmade her a book bag and wrapped it up in pretty paper. I left her an anonymous note in her school mailbox that a package was waiting for her at the information center. It was such joy to see the smile on her face.

  22. The year of my parent’s 25th anniversary (which is 2 days before Christmas), my siblings and I made a fun scrapbook to celebrate various occasions over the years. It was a lot of fun to make and well received 🙂

  23. Love all the inspiration today! My fave holiday gift to give is one I have given every year for the past 10 – 11 years. It is the handmade calendar to my parents. It started as a 6×6 calendar then became an 8×8 calendar until finally for the past few years has become a 12×12 calendar.

  24. My favorite gifts were my own handmade ones. I love giving something I have created and seeing the joy it brings others. Such great inspiration so far.

  25. I love giving gifts with meaning. Weather made or just lots of thought out into it. The ones that let the receiver know that you really “see and know” them!

  26. Ooooh, really like that quilted background
Crochet is my other passion, I love giving fingerless mitts & matching hats, all stitched with love!

  27. I love luxurious bath items, so the best gift I have gifted was to my best friend – a huge basket full of lovely scented bath items – bath bombs, soaps, bubble baths, shower gels. It was the best.

  28. I forgot to mention that I adore the gingerbread magic iris card. I need to make this card, it’s so super cute! Thanks for the endless inspiration. Hugs from Canada.

  29. Awww. Once again, some beautiful creations! Even if funds are tight, my family tries to donate every year to a food bank or toys for tots. It does the heart good to do something nice for someone else, big or small.

  30. I absolutely love wrapping presents: it’s a fun activity to match wrapping paper to bows and tags for the right person but my favorite gift I’ve received was a special stuffed animal as a child

  31. Making homemade shaker ornaments for my class every year is my favorite gift. I have heard years later that they still hang them on their tree. 🎄❤️

  32. OMG, Samantha’s card is STUNNING!! Wow! A favorite gift…hmmm…one year I was feeling artsy fartsy and made my sister a Christmas canvas with the 3 Kings on it. She and I have a fun holiday tradition around the song “We Three Kings of Orient Are”. She loved it.

  33. My favorite gifts are always the candies and cookies my kids and I make. I love how proud they are to give the gifts and how excited people get.

  34. Love Samantha’s card! Cute idea! ♡♡ My favorite gift would be bunch of Lawn fawn goodies!! O(≧▽≦)O But so far I got my Cricut air2! ♡♡

  35. I absolutely love using the not a creature was stirring for cookies for the bears! Love how all the sets are complimentary with lawn Fawn!

  36. I love surprising people with gifts I know they will love! This year my favorite gift so far is a puzzle for my sister with pictures of her and her girls! I know she will love it!

  37. So many sweet projects! One year my 5 siblings and our families gave our elderly father a jar filled with notes recalling favorite memories. He would pull one out each day and read it. He cherished all the loving stories from his children and grandchildren.

  38. love the cute snowglobe card! my favorite gift i have given was to my son several christmases back now. i managed to get him a toy that was sold out everywhere, and although santa was the one to get it for him, the happiness on his face and his reaction to santa knowing exactly what he wanted was amazing!

  39. My fave gift is the gift of education because I know it is so important for kids’ futures. These days its really hard for parents of little ones to think about setting aside money for education when there is so much going on and people are struggling to get by in life. I give all my nieces and nephew money to give their education savings a little boost!

  40. My favorite gifts I gave are the hand made ones like a quilt top and knitted scarf. When I was about 11, my sister and I saved up money to give to mom and dad to pay for going to Disney World. They were going on a cruise for a week with some friends and then we were going to fly and meet them in Florida after the cruise. My sister and I saved up enough for two days at Disney World including the tickets, food, and hotel. (That was back in the 1970’s, so it was just the Magic Kingdom then.) Of course we stayed in a cheep hotel off of Disney property. Mom and Dad were impressed that we not only saved that much, but also gave it to them. (My sister and I had active imaginations, so going places were more interesting to us than buying toys, which we didn’t need.)

  41. The best gift I ever received was my daughter. Being older, I had a high-risk pregnancy. I had lost one prior, so we were extra-cautious for 9 months! She was delivered right before Christmas. It was the absolute-best present I ever received!

  42. I have always loved crafting and making gifts. One year I made all my kids and grandchildren quilts. It was crazy hard work but they still have them.

  43. When we were dating, we’d went for a walk
around the little shops in our area. I saw
this bracelet – it was a snake that would
wrap around your arm about 4 times.
It was silver and gorgeous. I admired
it and was so surprised when it was one
of the gifts I received from my sweetie
at Christmas. That was 62 years ago
    and I still love it.

  44. Fav gift I gifted was cookies, Pizzelles, I make and send to family members. They are usually flavored with Anise but can be flavored with other. Like the creations. Especially like the Magic Iris use.

    “Sunshine HoneyBee”

  45. My friend’s daughter has some challenges but with the help of her Aide, she makes a no sew fleece blanket. So two years ago it gave me great pleasure to order nine blankets for my family and give them as gifts! Everyone loved them and my friend said her daughter was so happy to make them!

  46. Oooooo THESE ARE ALL SOOOO CUTE! I love the bear ones! My favorite gift I have given is a photo album scrapbook that I made for my grandma with pictures and quotes from her childhood in the 1910s all the way until today! She is 98!

  47. The favorite gift I have given is spending time to help a charity organization. I choose different ones. Thank you for sharing the examples for using the sets. I love the polar bear scene.

  48. Those bear cards are too cute!! One of the favorite gifts I’ve given was a papercrafted Advent Calendar for my daughter who lives across the country. It had 24 matchbook style drawers that I filled with all sorts of treats, notes, money, etc for her to open each day before Christmas. It was a lot of work but she loved it!!

  49. My favorite gift for Christmas was an Annie Oakley doll that I received about 60+ years ago. My Dad felt really bad that all I got for Christmas that year was a doll and my 3 other siblings got bikes. I told my Dad, many years later, I still have my doll and they donʻt have their bicycles. Each year for the past 35 years, we pick up a gift tag for a local organization and “shop” for a child. I like making gift tags to give to friends and family. Mahalo for the inspirations.

  50. On year I painted a ceramic deer flower pot and arranged artificial flowers, vines, and leaves in it. My mother kept it for many years and now it is on the top of my curio cabinet. That is a favorite gift I made and a happy memory. Love the cards and ideas today! I will have to give the vellum petals a try with a poinsettia die cut.

  51. My father says the best gifts for him are the ones he can admire given to other… so when I was in my early twenties I won $750 on a scratcher right before Christmas. That was many times greater than my normal Xmas budget… I took $500 of it and went on a shopping spree to fulfill wish list items for every teacher at a local school that supports children in tradition. I took pictures along the way gifted them to my father. He loved it and I learned a lot that year.

  52. I love Christmas time so much!! I do actually like to give gifts and add cute Lawn Fawn critters to the wrapping paper or make little tags rather than recieving, but I do really enjoy getting more Lawn Fawn stamps and dies!! 🙂

  53. Great holiday cards! I like to give people experiences as gifts – plays, dinners, or trips, everyone seems to enjoy them.

  54. My favourite gifts are what my boys make in school. Another is when my hubby got crafty and made a 4 sided light up picture frame with pictures of my boys in it.

  55. My favorite gift is a 100% woolen blanket I buy from a tiny shop in Ireland. They are made on looms from the 1800s and benefit a small village. I buy several at a time and give them as graduation, engagement and wedding gifts.

  56. I enjoy finding things that people would love but don’t want to buy for themselves — and it doesn’t have to be expensive! there are so many fun things out there, why not treat someone else to something fun?!

  57. I love giving gifts to others! As I think back on all the gifts I have given over the years I think the gifts I gave my husband on our first Christmas together are some of my favorites! And I have another favorite – when my sweet Mom was a little girl she had always wished for a little doll in a trunk (complete with clothes and accessories) but she never received one. One year I went to a doll show and purchased a Ginny doll in a trunk to give to her for Christmas. The tag said that it was “from Santa – I didn’t forget!” We both shed some happy tears – and the little doll and her trunk took center stage in Mom’s collection of vintage dolls!

  58. These cards are fabulous. What skill and talent! I love how people know a few things about you and then parlay it into fabulous thoughtful gifts.

  59. I gave my siblings chipboard scrapbooks that I made about my dad after he passed away. I used old photos, vintage ephemera, and distressed papers. They turned out so beautifully, my sisters and brothers loved them. Unfortunately, I need to do the same thing this year, except about my mom, as we lost her at the end of January. We will share memories and tears.

  60. So cute!!! I love giving gifts, I try to find really thoughtful or useful items! I love to give clothes because its something folks will get a lot of use out of. I think my favorite gift I’ve given was the doc martin boots I bought for my spouse last year. It was something they wanted so badly, there was a whole sizing issue because they were imported but it all worked out and they were just so thrilled!

  61. A couple of years ago, just before Christmas I picked up my daughter and we went to see my mother who was in a skilled nursing facility at the time. We spent time working on crafts together to help her pass the time. The time we spent was the best gift that I could have ever given her and that memory will never be forgotten.

  62. We treated our kids to a surprise Thanksgiving at Legoland a couple of years ago – told them they needed to do community service to help others at a time of giving, but secretly had booked a night at the Legoland hotel. Even as we pulled in to park, my daughter was looking for the brooms to sweep up the mess other guests would make. Such fun to then say “surprise” and get the room keys! Happy little faces.

  63. I love to give gifts more than receiving. There have been many that I loved over the years. This year I’m in a secret Santa with other crafters. I’m really excited to send this big package of all kinds of goodies and a few handmade items. So I’m thinking this year will be one of my favorites. Thanks for all the inspiration here too.

  64. Great inspiration! I love picking out gifts I hope the recipient will enjoy. I’m not recalling anything specific but when my stepdaughter was a kid (9 or so), we gave her a yellow Christmas. Several of her gifts had yellow, such as a yellow coat.

  65. At Christmas, I try to remember children from our local needy requests to gift them with something that they request through social services.
    Thank you, Lawn Fawn.

  66. Such inspiring projects today!
I think my favorite gifts were pots that I gave to school staff when my kids were young. I had gotten terra cotta pots and attached mosaic tiles around the rims and then planted a flower for the end of the year gifts. I really enjoyed making and giving them.

  67. The favorite gift I gave were t shirts purchased from a company owned by a guy with down syndrome. He is an extraordinary young man and I loved supporting his on line shop.

  68. My favorites are the suprise unexpected out of the blue ones. (Never money,) I love to see an item that reminds me of someone and I save it till Christmas. For a diabetic a homemade tray of candy and cookies they are allowed, To the little son of a single waitress we admired and to the single manager of a super busy well run restaurant (pre covid), to the son and daughter of a divorced couple at church. Way too many to list, ya got the idea. Christmas suprises that hopefully show them how important they are to me and others all year long.

  69. I purchased a wooden guitar and painted & decorated it to look like one owned by a favorite country music artist (Gary Allan) – it was green, so it really stood out. I gave it to a friend & she loved it!

  70. My favorite gift I have given is the time spent with my 3 granddaughters (all the same age). I take them to the pottery painting place to make their own ornament every year. Then they have it for their tree and we can see how much their creativity has changed over the years. Their parents love it as well and consider it the gift of a memory.

  71. One of the fun gifts I gave my husband was an original piece of art I commissioned from his favorite artist. He loved it.

  72. I can’t say I’ve had a best gift given, I usually get ppl gift cards or things that they wanted so I know they’ll appreciate them. I love wrapping gifts I feel like the packaging can make the gift just that much more special.

  73. More wonderful winter and holiday projects! The favorite gift that I’ve given recently is a large cross stitch project that I stitched for my mom. It’s now hanging in her house which is nice to see. Thank you for the chance to win!!

  74. My favorite gift I’ve ever given was the gift I had made for my parents this year. I had a painting made of my daughter and myself along with my sister who passed away from cancer in 2001. My sister never got to meet my little one and so this is our only image with all three of us. I gave it to my parents early because I just couldn’t wait, everyone was crying.

  75. A favorite gift I have given is a set of china dishes my sisters and I went together and got our mom one year. She had been wanting them for a while because so many of hers had been broken over the years but wouldn’t buy them for herself. She was so surprised and happy when she opened them.

  76. These are super cute!!
I think a favorite gift I have given is a snowman that you record a message on for the person you are giving it to!

  77. I made a quilt for a friend. So fun to see her reaction. Your design team is just amazing! love them all but the christmas town and snowglobe are just at the top of my list. Thank you for sharing your talents and giving us ides!

  78. These projects are amazing! I’m super inspired by everyone! For my favorite gift I’ve ever given, I think it would be the year my daughter simply asked for a world globe from Santa. An easy request to fulfill but that year believing was getting harder and the look on her face was amazing!

  79. One of my favorite gifts i have ever given was a dalmatian puppy to my father as he always wanted one since he was a kid. Thanks for the inspiration!

  80. So many awesome card and tag ideas! Love these!
The favorite gift I have given… one year I made the very popular padded photo albums as gifts. That was probably in the late’70s or early ’80s. I’d just taken my cat to the vet to get her annual shots , and I got bit on the finger in the process, while holding her as the vet gave her the shot. My finger swelled up and I had to complete the albums with a very sore and swollen forefinger. Definitely a labor of love!

  81. Such cute projects. Didn’t know there was a Magic Iris snow globe. Loved the card. The other projects were wonderful, also.

  82. Great projects! I love buying gifts for my loved ones, probably even more than I like receiving them… One of my favourites was a little milk jug I got for my mum – she had this idea of a milk jug in her imagination, and we could not find anything to match it for years… Until one year, whilst on holidays in Brussels, I found THE ONE! My mum almost cried that Christmas… And she keeps telling everyone who visits her how she got it, after years of search <3

  83. 11 years ago on Dec 22nd, I had my daughter. She turned out to be my parents’ first and only grandchild and their favorite Christmas gift ever!

  84. I love giving handmade gifts, whether it be LF cards, crochet, die cut projects, sewing… something about the satisfaction of making it with love and then sharing it!

  85. When my godchild was young, she loved Barbie. So when she was about 4, I started saving the Barbie ornaments from Hallmark. By the time she had her bridal shower, I had over 150 Barbie ornaments as her shower gift. I even bought her a tree! She’s been married now for 4 years now and she still used that tree. And each year I still continue with Barbie ornaments!

  86. I don’t know if it was my favorite (I enjoy country music), but I gave my husband tickets to a Duran Duran concert. Thanks for sharing all these great ideas from the design team.

  87. All of these awesome projects are so inspiring! And makes me want to buy all the things hahaha! My favorite gifts to give are photo books or calendars to my parents that have pictures of the grandkids. Not pictures of me, noooo, the grandkids! Hahaha!

  88. I made my daughter an advent tree with tiny gift box die and knit picky papers. She is a fantastic knitter and filled each little box with a sweet treat or knitting accessory (stitch counters, measuring tape, darning needle, personalized handmade labels). It wa so much fun to make. I think she enjoyed all the little surprises.

  89. I love giving gifts people will need and use. It always makes me smile when they open it and realize that it’s one less expense they will have to spend their money on. Especially now, that’s really important. Good lucky everyone!

  90. I try to think really hard about the person I’m giving my gift to so think that every gift is the best, getting better every year! I remember getting a magic set from santa at a christmas party once and still think of it as one of my favourite childhood gifts.

  91. I love giving experiences – concert tickets, theater tickets, etc.
I’d rather buy something where I can spend time with that person, not just buy stuff.

  92. Surprising my Dad with Hamilton tickets 3 years ago, I tucked the tickets inside the CD case, he was so happy and I was so happy to have experienced it with him.

  93. My favourite gift I gave has to be a Christmas advent I have just sent out – I got to make loads of crafty goodies for someone who loves crafts and I have my own to open from them too 🙂

  94. The little tree and snowmen gift tags are darling! My favorite gift would have to be the handmade treasures the boys made me when they were little. They were so precious.

  95. My favorite gift I have given were some pillows made from my Dad’s button down shirts. Everyone in the family received one and it was a great way to remember him by since he passed on Christmas Day. By the way, I love the Xmas tree tags. They are adorable!

  96. Favorite gift I’ve given was a speaker on wheels with a half disco ball with flashing lights and a mic attached. So much fun for small at home dance parties!

  97. I love giving handmade gifts! My favorite is pajamas, but this year it’s all masks. Not as much fun but hopefully useful!

  98. My favorite is from whwn our grandson was about 1 year old. it was atoy that pops when you push it. the look on his face when he opened it was PRICELESS!!!

  99. I bake a lot of gifts and put them in pretty packaging 💕 I also make ornaments, fridge magnets and sets of handmade cards, This year I’m attempting advent cards 🤞I get them posted out on time 😉💕

  100. The projects are beautiful! It’s hard to choose a favorite gift I have given… I really try to make the gift something the recipient really wants. Sometimes it’s like detective work to figure it out 🙂

  101. I like to do gift and especially handmade gift and I can’t choose which one I prefer to give. I really like the « gift » I’m doing now. My boyfriend live in a non-finished house since lit of year and this week I decided to paint a wall. It is not a big stuff but it’s time and énergie consuming. He will be very happy when he will come home at the end of the week. I see this action like a love proof.

  102. I think my favorite gifts that I have given have been the scrapbooks I have made for my in laws. They are big on spending time together making memories with all their kids and grandkids. I love to be able to put together albums for them to thank them for all that they do. Preserving the memories of a special trip, day or year. The best part is watching them look through it for the first time and remembering all the special moments. It is such a true blessing to be a part of their family!

  103. I really love giving sentimental gifts from childhood memories to Re-purposing photos that have been damaged. The look on their faces definitely makes those thing worth it all. Most of all I think during these times, items like that are really needed to family/friends we can’t see on a regular basis like we would normally. Thank you for such a beautiful inspiration.

  104. The grandkids get so much at once, so a few years back we started getting them gift cards for fun places. So on chilly winter days (pre COVID) they could go to movies, bowling, skating, Chucks Cheese, The Fun Center, or the Trampoline Place!

  105. A favorite gift I have given is a beanie. It’s the year I purchased a loom and was so excited that I learned how to make them!

  106. The best present my husband and I ever gave was to our boys. They wanted an X-Box. I stood in line in the morning before Best Buy opened with a lot of people! My husband and I opened the X-Box and put in a old VCR player. Taped the box back up and made it look like no one had opened it. Christmas morning it was the last present to open because the boys had to open it together. They take off the wrapping paper and are jumping up and down..they are 9 and 10…so excited like we had never seen! Screaming, we love you guys so much, and we cant believe you got one! So much happiness all over their faces! They open the box to look at the X-Box, and their faces just dropped. Mom…mom…someone switched and put a VCR in the box. Now we have tears and they were trying to figure out how in the world this could have happened! Then we brought another gift and they were not excited to open another one…but when they opened the box, there was the X-Box! We were back to joy again! We were laughing so hard! Best Christmas ever! Love my kids!

  107. My favorite gifts are always the homemade ones! My favorite gift that I ever gave is when we got my oldest daughter a cell phone – my Dad sat on our couch and called it every once in awhile from his phone to make it ring – it was funny watching her trying to figure out where the sounds were coming from. She was 16 and not expecting it — she is 26 now and still remembers the fun she had discovering it!

  108. I love giving gifts rather than receiving gifts anything to put a smile on someone’s face I think my favorite gift I have given was a homemade cross that I made for my Aunt as a gift right after my mom and grandma passed away so she could have something to remember them, these cards are just so beautiful and stunning everyone did amazing on them I’m in love with all of them

  109. My favorite gift I have given was giving my gramma a car. She needed one and I was lucky enough to be in a position to help her out. It’s the best gift I have ever given and I don’t think anything can top giving her freedom to do things she loves so much.

  110. My best ever Christmas gift is my dog, Comet. Well, we got him end of October but we have to wait until he was 8 weeks old before we can pick him up. He came to us a couple of days before Christmas. He was also supposedly my son’s dog but somehow ended up bonded more to me instead. So now, he is well & truly my dog.

  111. Such fun projects. Best gifts I like to give are the handmade kind …great way to show the recipient how much they mean to you.

  112. My favourite gift that I can think of recently is a guitar for my son, because he plays it often and it sounds great! I also enjoy buying craft supplies for my crafty friends!

  113. My favorite gift was finding my daughter that I had given up for adoption in the early 90’s, and to find out she is such a sweet and kind human. Best gift ever.

  114. My favorite Xmas gift I’ve given is a tshirt to my husband, a Star Wars fan. It’s a shirt with a picture of a card – “Season’s Greetings from the Skywalker Family” with Luke, Leia, and Darth Vader. He’s worn it every year, multiple times during the holiday season. He’s a nut, and I’m happy he loves it. <3

  115. My favorite gift was finding a board game that my son and I loved playing when he was young. It was lost over the year and I found one on eBay.

  116. I love this Inspiration – so many amazing projects which show how all your products work really well together.
A favourite gift I have given is a Graduation Ring to my son – in Australia, class rings aren’t really a thing, but one of the mum’s in my son’s class organised for a ring – given that this year has been so so strange!

  117. We gave a VHS tape to our 12-year-old daughter. She was less than enthused, since we didn’t own a player at the time. Then we gave her the VHS player to go along with it! She was overjoyed!

  118. Oh gosh those cards and tags are so adorable! I really should get that poinsettia die!! One gift I love to give is every year I find a Nutcracker for my daughter. I look for days finding an unusual or really cool one. She has quite the collection now!

  119. Every year I have my grandchildren make a Christmas list and I make sure they receive something on that list. I also bake goodie boxes for neighbors and friends every year it’s something that comes from the heart.

  121. My mom makes the holiday magic, so I always try to find little surprises to put in her stocking so she doesn’t know what she’s getting all the time. XD

  122. My favorite gift that I have given is a pajama shirt that I made for my sister. Every night, we would tell each other “goodnight sister”. It was simple but somehow became part of our nightly routine. When I moved across the country, that obviously could not longer happen. So, that Christmas I used my Cricut and some iron-on vinyl to make her a shirt with our bedtime phrase on it. She loved it so much it made her cry! Whoops!

  123. One of my favorite gifts I’ve given was actually my husband’s idea. Two of my sisters, one of their daughters, my husband and I took a trip to New York City and saw a Broadway show. We took a selfie at the hotel. My husband commissioned my niece (who was on the trip) to paint the selfie—she’s an incredible artist. Then my baby sister and her husband and I made a picture frame out of wood salvaged from our grandparents church. Only my husband knew what the finished project looked like until my younger sister opened it on Christmas. It was so fun to be involved and the painting and frame turned out so nice. Handmade gifts are the best!

  126. A favorite gift I have given? Boy that’s hard. But… I think it would have been the year I made and gave each family member their own scrapbook albums. From their birth to present today. They still talk about them and that was more than 20 years ago. Love see all the inspiration because Christmas themed projects are my favorite of the whole year.

  127. The best gift that I ever gave was to myself. I purchased purple/black Ray Ban sunglasses for myself. Did I mention that I LOVE purple? 💜💜💜 I took a deep breath and paid the giant price of $65. That was many years ago and I was in college. Now, the same kind of sunglasses carry a price tag of $230. And, yes, I do still have them. They’re PURPLE so, of course, I still have them. 😀

  131. I am making an envelope album this year for my daughter and I have a feeling it will be my fave. It is going to be fun and I know it will make me happy. There were so many ideas from all of the designers. I have trouble doing scene cards and they make it look soooo easy.

  132. I am making an envelope album this year for my daughter and I have a feeling it will be my fave. It is going to be fun and I know it will make me happy. There were so many ideas from all of the designers. I have trouble doing scene cards and they make it look soooo easy. Sorry for reposting, I discovered I made a typo with my email addy. Can you delete my last comment and leave this one please.

  133. My favorite gift I have given has been to my nieces and nephews. I got an advent calendar with just boxes and found small things throughout the year to fill it up. On December 1st, I gave it to them and they were so excited!

  138. I always loved the flannel pajamas my Mother sewed for all (9) of her kids… that tradition lived on all of my life growing up. I remember seeing her sew into the wee hours to make sure everyone had a pair. Long time ago but it will forever live on in my heart. I follow her tradition by making pajamas for my great grandchildren. Having so much fun seeing all the wonderful creations this week. Love the old as much as the new. Thanks Lawn Fawn, you’re the BEST!

  139. I love to give handmade gifts – I sew so a lot of them are quilts or wall hangings! My sister made me a tree skirt one year and I love it!

  140. When I was a little kid we made clay handprints and painted them for my Mom and Dad. When we were a little older in the ’80’s they would sell those kits and you could paint a plate, send it off and it would come back sealed and permanent. We did those too, both were loved dearly by my parents.

  141. The best gifts we have given is when we wanted to take my son and his girlfriend and my stepson to New York (we live in the UK) We found some suitcases decorated with pictures of New York, I made huge luggage labels for them to say what we were doing and wrapped them so they had one each. They were so excited and overcome when they unwrapped them, my sons girlfriend burst into tears! We all had a fantastic time and made some wonderful memories when we went the following September.

  142. I gave my older son the playmobil egyptian pyramid when he was 5. He was convinced he wasn’t going to get it because it was too expensive, so he was so excited when he opened it.

  143. I ran to 3 different cities to find a Little Tykes Dinosaur Mountain for our son. It was his favorite toy forever – he is 29 now and he still brings it up!

  145. Gorgeous projects! My favourite gifts to give were homemade calendars with my kids photos on it for the grandparents. This was years ago before you could get them just printed at a photo developer.

  146. I’m sure I will remember some great gift later, but the only one coming to mind was I gave my niece 22, 2 dollar bills for my niece’s 22nd birthday. She was in college and really only wanted gift cards or money so that she could cover school expenses and such without as much stress about earning money too. I decided that just money or gift cards was boring, but then my friend reminded me that 2 dollar bills do still exist and I could get them from the bank. It was the first time she ever saw a 2 dollar bill and kept asking if she really could spend them, lol. Love all the card examples!

  147. I love giving handmade gifts when I have time to create them. This year I made Christmas pillowcases for my grandchildren to enjoy during the month of December.

  148. I think the gift I enjoyed giving the most was a Wii to a family who was going to have a tough Christmas. The sheer joy on their faces when they opened it was unforgettable. I made sure that they each had a game to open on Christmas morning along with some stocking stuffers. Things have gotten better for them but they still talk about that gift and how much they loved it and used it. Amazing projects. Thanks for the chance to win. Good luck everyone.

  149. So many great projects shares! I like the movement cards, the tree tags, and the poinsettia flower layers. I enjoy giving handmade gift. They are fun to create with personalizations and different from the usual store bought stuff.

  151. I just LOVE Christmas and these are all SO adorable and pretty. My favorite gift ever was when my husband got me the Harry Potter trilogy and he got the idea all on his own… I hadn’t even asked for the books because they were going to be so hard to secure. Then I got the whole trilogy!!! But still I feel giving is even better than receiving.

  152. Gifts of my card making talent are shared with family and friends throughout the year and thanks to Lawn Fawn products, I can do this every day! Thank you, Lawn Fawn!

Have a FABULOUS WEEK!!

  155. This is a hard one. There are so many gifts that I have given over the years. My favorite to have given would be the gifts that have made the recipient’s eyes lit up with joy and will bring them joy for years to come.

  156. my favorite gift that i have given is a box of tissue paper to my toddler. he enjoyed playing with that more than the toys we got him.

  158. My favorite gifts are those that I can share with others. I really enjoy sharing the gift of paper crafting with others! Thank you for making this possible in my life, Lawn Fawn!

  159. I had a friend who mentioned she never received stamps and craft supplies for Christmas from her family. I made a basket full of wrapped craft items. I added mini twinkling lights and put it on her doorstep on Christmas Eve. She cried when she opened it. I was so happy to make her happy!

  160. A favourite gift I have given is an advent count down to Christmas. My daughter gets excited to open a bag each morning before school.

  161. When I was eleven I gave my cousin, who was nine at the time, my tape recorder (this was in the 70’s). It was on top of her wishlist for Christmas, but she never thought she would get one. Even though it was my old one she got SO happy and still to this day talks about it. I will never forget the look on her face as she opened her present, and the joy I felt seeing her so happy.

  162. I think the best gift one can ever give is quality time, but the next best thing would be a handmade card made with love

    1. Now this is a hard one. I put a lot of thought into what I purchase for someone but I have to say the sticking stuffers because it is fun to see how much joy the little things make my children.

  163. At this time, I am gifting many items that I have been given or collected over years. I sent one box off today to a great nephew and plan to pack another one today to another great nephew. It gives me such pleasure to do this.

  164. This year, I’m giving my husband some tools that belonged to a family member who was an extraordinarily talented engineer and builder. Unfortunately, he has Alzheimer’s now, but I’m happy to pass along his legacy.

Thank you, Lawn Fawn, for sharing all of these gifts through this week!

  166. The little tree Christmas tree tags are just adorable, I love their simplicity against a brown bag! This year my family decided to give each other the gift of time and we have all booked a vacation together in August, it will be a gift we can enjoy all year long!

  167. My husband always talked about how much he loved listening to records with his Dad when he was a kid so about 5 years ago I completely surprised him with a record player of his own. I will never forget the look on his face. And there’s rarely a day that goes by where there isn’t at least on record played.

  168. I am getting ready to share holiday gifts that I make and many use Lawn Fawn products. I got one box in the mail today. Thank you for all that you do!

  169. Sooo many cute critters and snowmen! Love!

I like giving cute stamps or dies to crafty friends, it’s one of my favorite types of gifts … Mostly through snail mail!

  170. I contend that time for others is one of the most important gifts one can share with people. Even though families and friends cannot physically be together this year, we can share our time through social media and paper crafting events of the past. I plan to use many of my Lawn Fawn products with others! Thank you, Lawn Fawn
